Negations (or Absorptions)
The negation numbers are the % of your damage that gets blocked. For example, if a negation is 60, 40% of that damage by that type will go through and 60% will be negated. Bigger number = less damage. A negation of 100 means no damage goes through, and a negation of -100 mean the enemy takes 2x damage from that source. 0 means damage goes pretty much as is.
Resistances
-
Poison: 252 / 542 / 999 -
Scarlet Rot: 252 / 542 / 999 -
Blood Loss: 252 / 542 / 999 -
Frostbite: 252 / 542 / 999
The resistance numbers are the buildup amount to trigger it. For example, if a resistance is 100 you must deal 100 points of the given buildup to trigger it. Note that these go down over time, and increase each time the effect procs. The values after the "/"s indicate the increased resistances after each successive proc.

Centipede Demon Fight Strategy
Melee Users
Thankfully, the Centipede Demon is much easier to deal with than its original version in Dark Souls, mainly because you won’t have to fight it while trudging through a pool of lava. For melee players, the fight becomes even more manageable if you cut off its tail early. The tail can be severed, but keep in mind that it can still attack you even after being cut. Make sure to eliminate it quickly once it’s detached. Also note that the tail will eventually grow back during the fight.
Most of the Centipede Demon’s attacks are slow and heavily telegraphed, giving you plenty of time to react. It relies on wide sweeping motions and long-range strikes, and while it does have some AoE attacks like Flame Blast, these are easy to avoid if you're paying attention. Lava Burst, another ranged move, may have slight tracking, but it travels slowly. Just be mindful of the explosion on impact.
Overall, this boss shouldn't pose too much of a challenge, especially if you're in a full team of three.

Centipede Demon Attacks & Counters
| Attack | Description | Counter |
| Body Slam | The Centipede Demon leaps high into the air and slams down directly beneath it. This move is typically performed if you linger too long underneath its body. | Once it jumps, it'll take a while before it drops down. Use this time to back away immediately to avoid the slam. |
| Snap | The Centipede Demon swipes its right arm to the side before extending it forward in your direction, snapping its jaws. | Depending on who the Centipede Demon is targeting, you’ll usually see the initial swipe first. If the snapping motion is directed at you, dodge roll to either side to avoid getting hit. |
| Flame Blast | The Centipede Demon charges flames in its right hand, then leaps into the air before hurling the fire to the ground beneath it. The impact causes a small AoE explosion that deals fire damage in a short radius. | Once you see it charging flames, back away immediately to avoid getting caught in the blast. |
| Tail Snap | The Centipede Demon swings its tail behind it in two quick snapping motions. | The tail snaps come in quick succession. If you time it right, you can dodge roll through both of them. |
| Spinning Aerial Slam | The Centipede Demon leaps into the air and spins midair before slamming down one of its arms to the ground. | This move is relatively slow, back away immediately, then close in to land a few hits during its recovery. |
| Frenzy Stomp | The Centipede Demon performs a stomp sequence with its feet. First with the right foot, then twice with the left foot. | Once you see it begin stomping, it's best to back away immediately to avoid the attack entirely. |
| Lava Burst | The Centipede Demon rears back before launching multiple balls of lava in your direction that explode on impact. | Once you see it rear back and prepare to throw projectiles, move behind it and stay on its back. |
| Right Slam | The Centipede Demon slams its right hand to the ground. | Dodge roll through the attack. |

AnonymousThere's something funny about his "Weak against 3 damage types" write-up not including his actual biggest weakness.

AnonymousIt was insane fighting a lot of severed limbs from this boss. I never played any of the Dark Souls games, so I am completely new to these guys.

AnonymousIt not camping in lava spamming the broken hitbox punch attack is enough to make him better in this game.

Anonymous
AnonymousThis boss feels like a fat downgrade from DS1, and that says a lot. (Moveset wise)

AnonymousFinally I can understand what this mass of limbs actually looks like

Anonymous
Turns out when you remove all the lava and the jank of DS1 this boss is a pushover that feels like he doesnt even work

shouldn't he be camping in the rain outside the arena and spams the long range centipede punch for more accurate dark souls experience and challenge?
