Negations (or Absorptions)
The negation numbers are the % of your damage that gets blocked. For example, if a negation is 60, 40% of that damage by that type will go through and 60% will be negated. Bigger number = less damage. A negation of 100 means no damage goes through, and a negation of -100 mean the enemy takes 2x damage from that source. 0 means damage goes pretty much as is.
Resistances
-
Poison: 154 / 252 / 542 / 999 -
Scarlet Rot: 154 / 252 / 542 / 999 -
Blood Loss: 252 / 542 / 999 -
Frostbite: 252 / 542 / 999
The resistance numbers are the buildup amount to trigger it. For example, if a resistance is 100 you must deal 100 points of the given buildup to trigger it. Note that these go down over time, and increase each time the effect procs. The values after the "/"s indicate the increased resistances after each successive proc.

Royal Carian Knight Fight Strategy
Melee Users
The Royal Carian Knight is a heavily armored warrior who fights alongside a similarly armored horse, combining magical and physical attacks. With its mix of glintstone sorcery and aggressive melee, this boss keeps pressure on you whether you're up close or keeping your distance.
One of its most common moves is the Leap Attack, where the knight jumps through the air and swings its sickle in a wide clockwise arc upon landing. This attack is typically used when you're a medium distance away. As soon as you see the leap begin, dodge to the side just before the sickle comes down. The landing leaves the knight briefly exposed, giving you a chance to close in and land a few quick hits before it recovers.
For ranged pressure, the knight uses Glintblade Phalanx, a sorcery where the polearm glows blue as the knight spins it above their head, summoning five magical blades that hover for a moment before flying toward you. If you're close when this spell is cast, the knight may leap backward to create space. As the blades form, use this window to sprint around the knight and land some quick strikes, then roll through or away from the blades once they launch. Staying aggressive during the casting can interrupt the knight if your weapon is fast enough.
Another straightforward melee move is the Stab, where the knight thrusts its sickle in quick jabs at various angles. This attack chain can be erratic, so don't rush in too quickly. Wait for the last stab to miss or hit your shield, then use the recovery time to punish with a light combo or charged heavy attack if you're confident in your timing.
The knight also uses Glintstone Star, firing a single magical projectile from the base of its sickle. Like with the glintblade spell, it may jump backward while casting to maintain distance. The projectile has a slight delay, so you can roll through it and use the time while the knight is repositioning to press in and punish with melee.
While mounted, the Carian Knight uses the Double Sickle Swing to attack you. During this move, it builds momentum before swinging its sickle twice in your direction. The buildup is clearly visible, giving you enough time to react. When you see the knight gaining momentum, back away from the boss to avoid both swings and counter with your own attacls.
Another move is the Glintstone Arrow. In this attack, the Carian Knight levitates into the air while summoning a large, glowing blue bow and arrow before firing it directly at you. The charging animation takes a long time execute, which gives you an opportunity to create distance and prepare to dodge.
Lastly, Sickle Slam is a powerful attack where the knight has its horse rear up before bringing the sickle down in a crushing blow. The wind-up is long and dramatic, making it easy to read. Roll to the side just as the horse rises, then move behind the knight and strike as the slam hits the ground. The boss takes a moment to steady itself after this move, making it one of the safest opportunities to counter.

As she jumps, roll diagonally toward her left (your right) to avoid the landing slash |
| Glintblade Phalanx | She twirls her glowing polearm around her head to summon five floating glintblades that launch at you after a brief delay. If you're close, she may leap backward while casting. |

| Stab | A flurry of fast stabs in various directions using the sickle. |
Dash in for a light combo or stagger hit before she mounts another offense. |

Royal Carian Knight Location
This is one of several bosses which can be found on the roof of the castle in the center of the map. The easiest way to find it is to take one of the many routes to the middle floor, then climb the stairway in the central room and follow the hall counterclockwise until you reach the roof.

A useful tip with your relics is to have (ideally both) holy and lightning damage boost in your expedition, keep at least 1 weapon loot (rare/epic/legend) of it in your arsenal, you'll need it for far too many elites and bosses scenarios. Dragonscale blade melts her fast!

So many annoying randoms try to fight her on the way in to Noklateo and end up wasting too much time so Astel is left with 20% health after the circle closes into his room. Lost count of how many times this has happened, I try pinging the city entrance when they agro her but they rarely listen. She can 1 shot most characters up until they're about level 10 and all it takes is a slightly laggy input or the game eating a command and you're KO'd. It's much better to go into the city, the bosses there are much weaker than her until you reach Astel, and they generally have drops that are about as good.
It's only worth fighting her after clearing the city and if you still have a while before the circle closes (or you have a pot scholar with a full inventory of pots). She just wastes too much time unless you have really high damage output.
