Bigger number = less damage. A negation of 100 means no damage goes through, and a negation of -100 mean the enemy takes 2x damage from that source. 0 means damage goes pretty much as is.

Black Knife Assassin Fight Strategy
Melee Users
The Black Knife Assassin is a swift and deadly enemy, known for its agility and relentless offense. It moves with precision and unpredictability, often combining attacks with quick steps and spins that make it hard to pin down. However, with careful observation and well-timed counters, you can punish it in the gaps between its movements.
One of its most common moves is the Quick Slash, where it darts in and slaits its dagger in rapid succession. These strikes come from various angles and are often mixed with spinning movements to confuse your dodging direction. Rolling diagonally toward its right side can help you avoid most of the slaits while positioning you to land a quick light attack or a guard counter if you're using a shield.
It also uses a Lunging Stab, where it steps or jumps forward and thrusts its dagger straight at you. This stab can be delivered in either an overhand or underhand motion, but both versions have a brief wind-up that makes them easier to dodge. As soon as it lunges, roll to the side and close in, and this gives you a chance to hit it before it recovers from the forward momentum.
Another move is its Feint Attack, where it leaps at you with a false counterclockwise slash that is quickly followed by a real clockwise strike. Don't fall for the first swing; instead, wait for the actual follow-up and then roll to the outside of its attacking arm. This sets you up for a clean backstab or a strong melee punish while it's finishing the motion.
It may also use a Spinning Retreat, which starts with a spinning slash and ends with a quick leap to its left. The initial spin is offensive, but the jump is defensive, often used to reset the fight. If you block or dodge the slash, resist the urge to chase immediately and wait for it to land, then follow with a light approach and strike once it starts another move.
Another move it does is the Jumping ground Stab, where it leaps and spins mid-air and does an overhead stab towards your direction and crashes to the ground. This move is predictable, and you'll have enough time to react and dodge roll to either side and counter with your melee attacks after it crashes to the ground. A good counter would be to go behind it and do a backstab.
It also does the Flash Swipe attack. This has the boss charging its left arm and then flashes forward to your position to hit you. The boss usually does this when you're sprinting towards it. Once you see it glow light purple, immediately stop and back up to avoid it. Lastly, there is the Spinning Slash. This attack also happens when you are approaching the boss. You can tell that it's about to do this attack when it turns its back on you and stabs the ground. Immediately back up upon seeimng this, until the boss finishes the spin.

Black Knife Assassin Attacks & Counters
| Attack | Description | Counter |
| Quick Slash | Performs a flurry of dagger slashes in multiple directions, often incorporating twirling movements to mask the next strike. | Keep your guard up or roll diagonally away from her spinning motion. These attacks come in rapid succession but can be interrupted with high-poise weapons or parried with precise timing. |
| Lunging Stab | Lunges straight ahead with a stab, delivered either overhand or underhand depending on the distance. | This attack is often used to close gaps quickly. Time your dodge to the side just as she begins her forward motion to punish the end of her animation. |
| Feint Attack | Leaps forward with a deceptive counterclockwise slash that’s followed by a real clockwise slash a moment later. | Don’t react to the first swing too early; wait for the real strike. Dodge into the second slash’s direction to avoid being clipped and position yourself for a backstab or retaliatory strike. |
| Spinning Retreat | Performs a clockwise spin followed by a slash, then jumps back to her left to reset distance. | Watch for the spin to anticipate the follow-up slash. Once she retreats, chase her down quickly before she can re-engage on her own terms or enter stealth mode. |
| Jumping Ground Stab | The boss jumps and spins mid-air, positioning its blade overhead and slams it to your direction. | Once you see the boss jump, you'll have some time to react and dodge roll to either side to avoid getting hit. |
| Flash Swipe | The boss charges its left arm and with light purple energy, then lunges forward at you to swipe at you. The attack leaves a trail of Light purple energy. | This attack is fast but very predictable. Once you see the boss charge its left arm, immediately prepare to dodge roll to the right to avoid it |
| Spinning Slash | The boss turns it back on you and stabs the ground, then suddenly faces you again while dragging its blade around and slashes at you. | Once you see the boss stab its dagger on the ground, immediately back up to avoid the range of the spinning slash. |

Anonymousif you can master parrying the short pause, lunge attack which she spams so much, she is the easily the quickest boss to kill even faster than the flower and demihuman queen.
for some reason in depth 5, you can't parry it anymore, is this intentional to delay the player more?
