Roundtable Hold is a Location in Nightreign that serves as a hub for NPCs. This area is where players can access services, trade with merchants, and upgrade certain equipment. This page will be updated with more details once additional information becomes available.
Elden Ring Nightreign Roundtable Hold Information
The Roundtable Hold serves as a central hub for all the NPCs you’ve encountered so far. The Roundtable Hold is fully accessible while waiting for an expedition to commence. While the exact method to unlock this area is still unknown, here’s what we have confirmed so far:
- Codex Access: View detailed Lore information from the Codex.
- Training Yard: Test your skills and abilities before returning to Limveld.
- Merchants: Access the merchants’ inventories to trade and purchase items, with merchants relocating within the Roundtable Hold as you progress.
- Customization Station: A confirmed feature, though the full details are not yet disclosed. We can assume it allows customization of your hero’s appearance or the gear they have equipped.
- Character Conversations: While the full details of this feature are still unclear, we can assume it involves interacting with various Heroes (except current characters) or NPCs within the Roundtable Hold to advance quests, gather information, or gain insight into the world.
- Expeditions: Using the Roundtable Hold, you can begin your expeditions (Matchmaking). You can also set up your matchmaking preferences like Multiplayer Password, Group Password, and Number of Players.
- Relic Rites: The menu shows all available relics that you own. You can conduct a relic rite using this menu. The supporting effect of the relic will take effect upon departure on expeditions. Relics are permanent additions to your inventory.
- Visual Codex: This menu contains a record of previously viewed explanations as well as helpful hints that help make exploration easier.
- Sparring Grounds: Use the Sparring Grounds to learn controls and practice fighting. Use the Sparring Equipment Menu to change loadout settings, and the Sparring Settings menu to change conditions for sparring. Upon departing on an expedition, any equipment borrowed from the Sparring Grounds is automatically returned.
- Sparring Settings Menu: Change Status, HP, and FP on the Sparring Settings menu. You may also change characters using this menu.
- Character Selection: On this menu, you can change your selected character. You can also compare and see a character's background and unique skills.
- Status: This tab shows your Base Stats, Armament, and Special Effects before you go into an Expedition.
- System: Access various Game Settings, Options, Controls, Sounds Settings, etc.

Roundtable Hold and Services in Elden Ring Nightreign
Roundtable Hold Markers
The Expeditions is indicated with a Grace icon and is located in the center of the Roundtable Hold map.
This is where you can begin your matchmaking to search for an Expedition. Here, you may choose a target Nightlord that you wish to fight on day 3 of the Expedition, the matchmaking queue will then search for other players who are also targeting the same boss. While you are searching for a match, you can freely roam and interact with the other services until a match has been found.
The Character Selection is indicated with a hanging bell icon and is located to the lower right of the Expeditions Icon on the Roundtable Hold map.
This is where players can change their characters to whoever they wish to use to roam around the Roundtable Hold. You can head to the Sparring Grounds to test out various weapons and skills that each character has, and read into the Visual Codex and Journal to learn more about the background of each Nightfarer.
The Change Garb is indicated with a mirror icon and is located in the southeast section of the Roundtable Hold map.
This is where you can purchase various outfits for each Nightfarer and change it anytime you wish. These outfits hold no purpose other than changing the appearance of the Nightfarer and do not add to the stats, hold any extra abilities, or affect the gameplay whatsoever. You can easily access the Change Garb menu simply by pressing on the touch pad on your controller.
The Relic Rites is indicated with cloth draping on each side of a podium and is located directly to the left of the Expeditions icon in the Roundtaable Hold map.
Relics recovered from expeditions can enhance your abilities when equipped before deployment. Relics have a diverse assortment of effects, ranging from increasing stats to altering the performance of skills. Different relic combinations can alter your gameplay experience. So try out different approaches and see what suits you best for the journey ahead.
The Visual Codex is indicated with a desk with an open book icon and is located in the southwest section of the Roundtable Hold.
This serves as the game's handbook. You can find various information here that covers the game's mechanics, combat, and other fundamental concepts. You can also find records of previous expeditions that you have been on, as well as learn about the skills and lore of each of the Nightfarers.
The Journal is indicated with a paper icon and is located in the east wing on the higher platform of the Roundtable Hold.
This is where you can check the progress of each of the Nightfarer's journeys, collect memory fragments while in expeditions to help regain memories and to learn more about each Nightfarer. During the Nightfarer's journeys, you may need to seek more help from NPCs within the Hold as well as collect items in Limveld.
The Sparring Grounds is indicated with a tent icon and is located in the northeast section of the Roundtable Hold.
This is where you can practice various Weapons, Skills, and Characters. Experiment with different loadouts through the Sparring Equipment menu, you may also change the status, HP, FP, and character through the Sparring Settings menu by pressing on the touch pad of your controller. Anything that is taken from the Sparring Grounds will be automatically returned upon departing on an expedition.

The Small Jar Bazaar is indicated with a Jar icon and is located in the southwest section of the Roundtable Hold map.
This is where you can purchase items such as Relics, Gestures, Vessels, and more. Murk is needed in order to purchase items at the Small Jar Bazaar, Murk can be obtained by completing Expeditions.
The Priestess is indicated with a hooded person icon and can be found in the north section of the Roundtable Hold map.
The Priestess is an NPC that you can interact with when Nightfarers relieve fragments of their memories through Remembrance Quests.
The Iron Menial is indicated with a sparring puppet with clasped hands and can be found in various locations within the Roundtable Hold.
The Iron Menial is an NPC that you can interact with throughout any of the Nightfarer's quests. The Iron Menial provides assistance, such as giving objectives and hints that will help progress the narrative of each of the Nightfarer's stories to complete their remembrances.
The Collector signboard can be found outside the Roundtable Hold near the shore. Exit the Roundtable Hold through the south exit and go around the right corner to find the Signboard.
When you interact with the Signboard, you will have the following options to choose from:
View Catalog
- Choosing this option allows you to view the catalog in which you can purchase various items such as Vessels, Relics, and Garbs using a new currency called Sovereign Sigils.
- Sovereign Sigils can be obtained upon completing Everdark Sovereign Expeditions.
- Choosing this option will replace the Cracked Witch's Brooch with the Witch's Brooch.
- This requires you to give up 3 Sovereign Sigils.
Conjure a shift in the earth
- Choosing this option allows you to choose between the 4 Shifting Earth events you wish to occur when you begin your Expedition
- This will cost 1 Sovereign Sigil each time.
Alter Great Site of Grace
- Choosing this option allows you to restore the Great Site of Grace to the former illuminated state before unlocking Heolstor the Nightlord
- This will cost 1 Sovereign Sigil.
Leave
- Choosing this option will close the menu.
