Anayama Nobutada is one of the Formidable Enemies you will encounter in Futamata before you reach the Futamata Castle. You will see him guarding the temple together with his men. Nobutada is a formidable Samurai who wields two swords. Nobutada is considered to be ruthless and will stop at nothing when it comes to eliminating his enemies.

Nobutada uses several types of attacks and approaches when he fights his enemies. One of Nobutada's attacks is the quick slash attack. You can always block this attack by utilizing your guard ability.

Another type of sword attack that Nobutada utilizes is in the form of a slash and a poking sword attack. Nobutada will start with the slash attack as he spins, and then afterwards, he will follow it up with a sword-poking attack. This type of attack is blockable as long as you are maximizing your guard ability.

Aside from normal attacks or melee attacks, Nobutada will also be using his swords in performing a thrust attack. Nobutada will distance himself from you, creating a space for him to briefly charge and afterwards, thrusting towards your position in a great force while trying ot strike you with his sword.

Nobutada will also be maximizing his swords, performing a sword-butchering attack. He will start running into your position, and when he gets too close, he will start butchering you with his sword. This attack of Nobutada is very deadly, which can inflict a large amount of damage on your health if you are caught. To avoid taking damage from this attack, make sure to use your guard ability to block and repel this attack.

Nobutada can also perform an attack, wherein the movements of his swords are the same. He will perform a two-sword strike attack, which is very powerful and deadly. The first two strikes will be like a normal melee attack, and the third or last part of this attack is that he will spin first before trying to blow you with both of his swords. You can block and guard this attack to avoid taking damage.

To efficiently inflict damage to Nobutada's health, it is highly recommended that you maximize the use of your Living Artifact and Soul Core abilities for maximum damage output. Also, Nobutada has the ability to block your attacks as well, make sure to watchout for his movements before planning on landing your next attacks.
