Hot Springs in Nioh 3 are Locations that can be discovered while completing Missions. Hot Springs are areas that can grant players a temporary buff, which increases their HP regeneration abilities. These areas are usually found on a Yokai Enemy Base, and you need to purify the area first to have access to the Hot Spring. This page will have a list of all the Hot Springs locations in Nioh 3.
Hot Springs General Information in Nioh 3
Hot Springs have been a soothing spot for the warriors, seeking peace and healing whenever they can. These Hot Springs are scattered all over the locations you'll be travelling in. Bathing at Hot Springs offers healing without the need for elixirs or other healing items.
- Players will first find out about Hot Springs during the Desecrated Hot Spring myth.
- Hot Springs are usually in out-of-sight areas, places where you'd have to intentionally go to, as these will be out of the way.
- Hot Springs may be found before boss battles.
- Bathing at all Hot Springs will award you with the Spa Lover Achievement
- Bathing in the Hot Springs earns the player HP regeneration buff and receives 2 Yokai Teardrops.

All Hot Springs Locations in Nioh 3
Approaching a Hot Spring, you may encounter some strong Yokai that you will need to eliminate in order to have access to the Hot Spring. Cleansing it will give you completion rewards and access to the Hot Spring, which gives you a Hot Spring buff, as well as some Yokai Teardrop.

Near the Cape Cavern Shrine
- From the Cape Cavern Shrine, walk through the tunnel on the left side after talking to the hallowed soul that leads you to the Desecrated Hot Spring, where a few Yokai have taken over the place. Eliminate all 6 Yokai in the area to capture the enemy base and cleanse the Hot Spring. Speak to the hallowed soul to finish the myth mission, Desecrated Hot Spring. You will receive 1 Samurai's Locks and Completion Rewards for purifying this Hot Spring. You will also earn 2x Yokai Teardrop and HP healing buff after bathing in this Hot Spring. [Nioh 3 Map]

Near The Haunting Caves - Rimstone Pool Shrine
- From the Rimstone Pool Shrine, walk north, and you will come across a Crucible Wraith that you need to purify before you can go forward and access the hot spring. Bathing in this hot spring will give you 2x Yokai Teardrop and HP healing buff. [Nioh 3 Map]

Near the Maisaka Post Shrine
- From the Maisaka Post Shrine, walk west towards the Enemy Base, where you will need to defeat the Crucible Wraith and clear out the enemy base to proceed. In this area, you may obtain the Secret Skills Text: Defense Mastery I and other valuable loot. You may also eliminate the Yokai standing beside the location of the hot spring near a tree, so you can access this hot spring. Near the Horie Castle - Main Keep Shrine
- From the Horie Castle - Main Keep Shrine, head west and enter the Horie Castle. Inside one of the rooms on the ground floor is an indoor Hot Spring. Bathing in this hot spring will give you 2x Yokai Teardrop and HP healing buff. [Nioh 3 Map]

Near the Ryotan Temple - Living Quarters Shrine
- Head to Ryotan Temple, located in the northwestern corner of the Iinoya region. You'll first have to perform the correct color gesture to use to appease the Nurikabe and gain access to the Hot Spring. Checking for players' nearby graves can help in identifying which colors failed, giving you 2 safe chances at picking a gesture. Bathing in this hot spring will give you 2x Yokai Teardrop and HP healing buff. [Nioh 3 Map]

North of the Juji Fortress (East) Shrine
- Head north from the Juji Fortress (East) Shrine, but hug the left-hand side, where you'll spot a somewhat hidden cave. The Hot Spring will be in the cave. Bathing in this hot spring will give you 2x Yokai Teardrop and HP healing buff. [Nioh 3 Map]

Behind a Fake Wall
- Make your way north from the Koguchi Junction shrine and through the ruined houses. Head up the first set of stairs, right before you find the Futamata Castle - Defensive Gate Shrine. If you're at the shrine, you've gone past it. The fake wall is the one just after you climb up the first set of stairs. Simply walk through it, and it'll vanish. Bathing at this Hot Spring will reward you with x2 Yokai Teardrops and HP Healing Buff. [Nioh 3 Map]

Overlooking the Fortress
- Head northeast of the Mikatagahara - Kikyo Bellflower Fortress Shrine to the rock wall, and there will be rock formations for you to use as platforms to make your way up to it. The Hot Spring will have a couple of Grudge Spirits occupying it. Bathing in this Hot Spring will give you 2x Yokai Teardrop and HP healing buff. [Nioh 3 Map]

South of the Saigagake - Rear Approach Shrine
- Head south of the Saigagake - Rear Approach Shrine. You'll spot a hut opposite a camp with a Nurikabe guarding the entry to it; either fight it or perform the right color gesture to use to appease it and gain access to the hut. Check for nearby player graves to see which color they tried to give yourself 2 safe chances at performing the correct gesture. The Hot Spring will be in this hut. Bathing in this Hot Spring will give you 2x Yokai Teardrop and HP healing buff. There will also be a chest by the entrance containing Samurai's Locks. [Nioh 3 Map]

Southwest of the Mt Kurama - Kinone Michi Shrine
- From Mt. Kurama - Kinone Michi Shrine, head down the stairs and follow the path, then turn left. You'll find a Spirit Vein on the edge of a cliff. You'll need the Enko Guardian Spirit to traverse this, and after you get across, take the ladder on your left and head down, where you'll see the Hot Spring. The Hot Spring will be in this hut. Bathing in this Hot Spring will give you 2x Yokai Teardrop and HP Healing buff. [Nioh 3 Map]

Inside the Western Enemy Camp
- Found past the small hut inside the western enemy camp in Funaokayama, there will be a Nurikabe guarding the passage; either defeat it in battle or perform the right color gesture to appease it and gain access to the hut. Check for nearby player graves to see which color they tried to get 2 safe chances at performing the right gesture. After you gain access to the hut, there will be a chest containing a Sunderer, a Fan-Crested Helmet, and a piece of the Swordmaster Set. Go through the hut and head outside. Follow the path till you spot the corpse on your left. The corpse will contain a Luckbringer Amulet. Hit the bamboo to create a path, and inside is where you'll spot the Hot Spring. Southwest of the Matsuo-taisha Shrine: Great Torii
- This Hot Spring will be a little tricky to spot as the Nurikabe blocking the entrance blends really well with the rock wall. There are two ways of finding this Hot Spring, at the western side of Sagano, starting from the Matsuo-taisha Shrine: Great Torii, head southwest, and stick close to the rock wall. When you spot the Nurikabe, perform the right color gesture; this way, you'll avoid fighting with it. Once you're inside, you'll spot the Hot Spring straight away. You can also go through the cave system, which will allow you to take out the Nurikabe in a unique way, by removing the talisman on its back. Bathing at this Hot Spring will reward you with x2 Yokai Teardrops and HP Healing Buff. Past a Spirit Vein
- Head southeast of the Horiike of Arashiyama Shrine. It will be easier if you come around from the northern part of Nishiichi. Just past the eastern Spirit Vein on Sagano will be a cave, and upon entering the cave, you'll immediately spot the Hot Spring. Bathing at this Hot Spring will reward you with x2 Yokai Teardrops and HP Healing Buff. [Nioh 3 Map]

Southeast of the Enemy Base
- Head southeast of the Anneibo Temple Shrine, past the enemy base, and you'll find a torch-lit set of stairs on your right as you make your way east, which will lead directly to the Hot Spring. Bathing at this Hot Spring will grant the player x2 Yokai Teardrops and HP Healing Buff. [Nioh 3 Map]

Southeastern Building
- In the Rajomon district, head to the courtyard and towards the southeastern building. You'll spot a Nurikabe guarding the entrance to the Hot Spring, perform the right color gesture to avoid combat, and have it allow you to pass. Check for nearby player corpses to get 2 safe chances at performing the right gesture. Once you're inside, you may then bathe in the Hot Spring, doing so will reward the player with x2 Yokai Teardrops and HP Healing Buff. [Nioh 3 Map]

Southeast of the Yasaka Shrine Tower
- Head southeast of the Yasaka Shrine Tower and go through the hole in the wall. Follow the path till it leads you to a pagoda housing the Hot Spring. Bathing at this Hot Spring will reward you with x2 Yokai Teardrops and HP Healing Buff. [Nioh 3 Map]

Eastern Side of the Palace Grounds
- This Hot Spring is located in the eastern part of the Palace Grounds. From the eastern Bodhisattva, make your way southwest, guarded by a Nurikabe. Perform the correct color gesture to avoid combat and easily access the Hot Spring. Check for nearby player graves to have 2 safe chances at performing the right color gesture. Under The Spirit Tree Shrine
- This Hot Spring is located at the foot of the Spirit Tree Shrine. Progress through the story in the Antiquity realm till you reach the bottom-most area of The Spirit Tree. Bathing at this Hot Spring will reward you with x2 Yokai Teardrops and HP Healing Buff. [Nioh 3 Map]

Inside a Run-Down Hut
- Can be found hidden inside a run-down hut next to the Honnoji Temple: Temple Lodgings Bodhisattva Statue in the Crucible Event in Sanjo. You will need to break through some boxes to reveal a small opening to enter the hut. Bathe in the Hot Spring to obtain x2 Yokai Teardrops. [Nioh 3 Map]

South of the Enemy Base

Next to a Spirit Vein
- You'll find this Hot Spring at the southeastern corner of the region, next to the Southeastern Kiyomizu Spirit Vein. There will be a Sunakake-baba (Crucible Wraith in the area) waiting in ambush nearby. Bathing at this Hot Spring will reward you with x2 Yokai Teardrops. [Nioh 3 Map]

North of the Yoshidayama Approach Shrine
- Head north from the Yoshidayama Approach Shrine. Follow the outer walls of the Yoshidayama Tower to a somewhat hidden path to the left. You'll spot the Hot Spring as soon as you reach the end of that hidden path. Bathing at this Hot Spring will reward you with x2 Yokai Teardrops. [Nioh 3 Map]

At the Abandoned Temple's Southern Outskirts
- This part of Nijo Castle can be reached by going through Mibu from the south. The Hot Spring will be by an abandoned house at the corner of the rock wall. Northern Tip of the Imperial Palace
- This Hot Spring's entrance is blocked by a Nurikabe in the eastern corner of the northwestern building; perform the correct color gesture to get past it and avoid any combat with it. Check for nearby player graves to get 2 safe chances at performing the correct color gesture. Once you're through, there will be a corpse on your right containing random loot, but follow the path on the left, and it'll lead you to the top floor of the building, where the Hot Spring will be located. Nioh 3 All Hot Springs in Edo - Final Battle
At the Watchtower
- Head south from the Edo Castle: Keep Watchtower Bodhisattva Statue, past the folding screens. Jump down on the rock, then you'll spot the Spirit Vein on a small piece of roofing. Players must have the Oh Guardian Spirit to traverse this Spirit Vein. Traversing this Spirit Vein will lead to the only Hot Spring in the area.
