| Spirit Veins requires a certain guardian spirit acquired before you can access it. |
Spirit Veins are Locations that you will discover in Nioh 3. Spirit Veins can be identified by the glowing motes of light that flutter around them, and they require certain Guardian Spirits to traverse. You will find a few Spirit Veins while exploring regions, and below is a list of their locations and Guardian Spirit requirements to access these Spirit Veins.
Spirit Veins General Information in Nioh 3
Spirit Veins act as a unique traversing path that would have special requirements. This traversal path can only be accessed by unlocking the specific Guardian Spirit that it needs, and you need to travel with it to be able to use the Spirit Vein. In most cases, you will need to finish most of the objectives in an area as you work your way through unlocking the Guardian Spirit, then get back to the explored Spirit Vein later on, once you have the Guardian Spirit to traverse through the Spirit Vein and earn rewards and useful loot.
- Spirit Veins will lead you to a location where you may encounter strong enemies.
- Eliminating these enemies will give you a Secret Skills Text.
- Secret Skills Texts can be learned by praying at a nearby Shrine.

As you come across a Spirit Vein, if you have acquired the Guardian Spirit required to traverse it, you may use it to transport you to a special location that cannot be crossed without the help of the Spirit Vein. You may encounter strong enemies at the location where it leads you, and defeating them will give you special rewards.

Near the Ikeda Ferry Shrine
- From the Ikeda Ferry Shrine, walk north towards the Tenryu River region, and you will see the Spirit Vein near a wall with mineral formations next to the bushes. Players will be required to have the Kurama Tengu Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein; they'll have to progress in the story to unlock this Guardian Spirit. Once you've made your way up with the help of the Guardian Spirit, you'll come face-to-face with a Crucible Wraith Raiju that you'll have to defeat. Doing so will have it drop a Yokai Teardrop. There will also be 2 corpses for you to loot that will contain Samurai's Locks and pieces of random loot. [Nioh 3 Map]

Prospect Hill Spirit Vein
The Rock Wall North of the Prospect Hill Shrine
- From the Prospect Hill Shrine, head north to an enemy base occupied by 5 enemies, which you'll need to defeat first. After clearing the base, head to the northeastern corner, where you'll find the golden shards and the cracked-open boulder containing the Spirit Vein. Players will be required to have the Kongojishi (Samurai)/ Kongojishi (Ninja) Guardian Spirit unlocked. After interacting with the Spirit Vein, continue along the tunnel it initially blocked. You'll find a chest at the end of the tunnel containing the Secret Skills Text: Deadly Eye and set pieces of the Irregular Troop Set and Heirloom Set. Make sure to loot the corpse found on your right after looting the chest. [Nioh 3 Map]

Near the Hamamatsu Shrine Walk
- From the Hamamatsu Castle, head northeast and exit on the northeast gate near the path going to the Hamamatsu Shrine Walk. Descend the stairs on the cliff side of the castle, and on the eastern part of the cliff side terrain, you will see the Spirit Vein. You will need to unlock the Enko Guardian Spirit to access this Spirit Vein. Traversing through this Spirit Vein and defeating the strong enemies on the other side of the platform will reward you with some valuable loot and Secret Skills Text: Rebounding Surge. [Nioh 3 Map]

Hamamatsu Post Spirit Vein
Near the Hamamatsu Post, next to the bridge
- From the Hamamatsu Post Village, head west to the first bridge going to Hamamatsu Castle. You will see the spirit vein on the right side, near the other end of the bridge. Traversing through this Spirit Vein will require you to unlock the Enko Guardian Spirit. On the other side of the Spirit Vein, you will find a corpse where you can loot a Small Spirit Stone and Secret Skills Text: Aerial Strike. [Nioh 3 Map]

Hamamatsu Post South Spirit Vein
Southwest of Hamamatsu Post Shrine
- From the Hamamatsu Post Shrine, walk southwest through the village houses, and you will see a hill that can only be ascended via the Spirit Vein. Players will need to have unlocked the Kurama Tengu Guardian Spirit to traverse this Spirit Vein. Upon reaching the top, there will be 2 corpses for you to loot that will contain Prayer Beads, pieces from the Irregular Troop Set, Thief Set, Sacred Water, and the Secret Skills Text: Polished Form, but head to the lower cliffs on your left to reach a corpse that contains the Secret Skills Text: Fortitude I. On the Maisaka Post isle, west of Lake Sanaru
- As you follow the Torii Bridge Scampuss, it will lead you to this Spirit Vein. You can also find it while you head west toward the Maisaka Post Isle. You need to traverse this Spirit Vein cross to the Maisaka Post Isle. You also need to unlock the Enko Guardian Spirit to traverse it. Crossing this Spirit Vein can get you access to your objective during A Fierce Flame Myth. [Nioh 3 Map]

Maisaka Post Isle Spirit Vein (2)
On the Maisaka Post isle, west of Lake Sanaru
- After passing the first Spirit Vein, follow the wrecked path on the southern side of the Maisaka Post Isle and make your way up. You'll find it on a wooden platform on top of some rocks. This Spirit Vein also requires the Enko Guardian Spirit to traverse. [Nioh 3 Map]

Maisaka Post Isle Spirit Vein (3)
On the Maisaka Post isle, west of Lake Sanaru
- After the second Spirit Vein, continue your way up the path, and you'll immediately discover this third Spirit Vein, which will also require the player to have the Enko Guardian once more. [Nioh 3 Map]

Lake Sanaru (North) Spirit Vein
On the Northern side of Lake Sanaru
- It can be found on the coast of Lake Sanaru, head west from the Lake Sanaru (North) Shrine. This Spirit Vein requires the Nekomata Guardian Spirit to be unlocked, the version you unlock after the events of the Return to Edo era. Once you traverse the Spirit Vein, you'll face Sugitani Zenjubo. Defeating him in a duel will reward you with a Fan-Crested Helmetand pieces of the Lilac Set, Kintaro Set, Samurai General Set, and Marksman Set. [Nioh 3 Map]

Lake Sanaru - Waterside Spirit Vein
Southeast of the Lake Sanaru - Waterside Shrine
- You'll have to enter a ruined house with a hole in the floor. Drop down the hole and follow the path, and you'll easily find this Spirit Vein. Traversing this Spirit Vein will lead you to Six Jizo Statues that will give you +50 Jizo Merit. There will also be 2 corpses nearby that will drop random loot when interacted with. The player will need the Enko Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. [Nioh 3 Map]

Otsuri Bridge Spirit Vein
West of the Otsuri Bridge Shrine
- Head west from the Otsuri Bridge Shrine, and follow the path. It will lead you to the Spirit Vein. The player will need the Enko Guardian Spirit unlocked. After traversing this Spirit Vein, there will be a chest inside that contains Ninja's Locks along with an assortment of other random loot. [Nioh 3 Map]

Usugiri Marshland Spirit Vein
Northeast of Usugiri Marshland Shrine in Lake Sanaru
- Found northeast of Usugiri Marshland Shrine, on the terrain after crossing a tree log by the cliff. You will need to unlock the Enko Guardian Spirit to access this Spirit Vein. Traversing through this Spirit Vein will lead you to the other side of the narrow terrain, where you will find a fallen warrior's corpse. Looting from it will give you 1 Samurai's Locks. [Nioh 3 Map]

Left of the Bridge towards Hamamatsu
- Head to the Hamamatsu Castle Town (South) Shrine and go under the bridge. There will be Yokai present, so make sure to clear those out before trying to find this Spirit Vein. With the shrine's location as a reference, the spirit vein will be southwest of the shrine's location, on top of a giant rock stuck to the stone wall. This Spirit Vein requires the Enko Guardian Spirit to be unlocked. You'll be rewarded with Samurai's Locks along with an assortment of other randomized loot. [Nioh 3 Map]

The Haunting Caves Spirit Vein
West of the Chamber of Enlightenment Shrine
- As you proceed through The Haunting Caves, you'll encounter this Spirit Vein. It's located west of the Chamber of Enlightenment Shrine. Caution, though, as this area is littered with enemies. This Spirit Vein requires the player to have the Enko Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse it. [Nioh 3 Map]

Northwestern Maisaka Spirit Vein
North of the Maisaka Post Shrine
- Head north from the Maisaka Post Shrine, follow the road, and take the first left. You'll find the spirit vein at the bottom of the slope. The Required Guardian to access this Spirit Vein is the Kongojishi (Samurai) / Kongojishi (Ninja). Breaking the boulder will reveal a path, and upon going right at the end of that path, you will spot 2 corpses for you to loot. You'll obtain some Ninja's Locks as well as a Bullhead Cross Spear, and a Fan. [Nioh 3 Map]

On the Stone Formation heading West
- From the Stone Buddha Path Shrine, you should already spot the Spirit Vein on your right as you face west. Players are required to have the Enko Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. Rewards for traversing this Spirit Vein will be posted soon. [Nioh 3 Map]

South of the Horie Castle - Outwork Shrine
- Head south from the Horie Castle - Outwork Shrine and cross the bridge to the next island. It'll be on the southern side of said island, take care as this is guarded by a Jailer Oni and a Sunakake-baba. The Required Guardian to access this Spirit Vein is the Kongojishi (Samurai) / Kongojishi (Ninja). After destroying the boulder, follow the hidden path, and you'll spot some corpses to loot as well as a Bakegani Crucible Wraith for you to take out. The Corpses will have pieces of the Archer Set, Shinobi Light Set, Wayfarer Set, Secret Skills Text: Fortitude II, and Elixir [Nioh 3 Map]

North of the Sengan Waterfall Shrine
- This Spirit Vein is at the foot of the Sengan Waterfall just north of the Sengan Waterfall Shrine. Players will be required to have the Kurama Tengu Guardian Spirit to traverse this Spirit Vein. You will then come face-to-face with the Demon of Pride. Defeating him will have him drop the Demon of Pride Soul Core, and pieces of the Heirloom Set, Irregular Troop Set, Kamari Set, and Moonprayer Set. [Nioh 3 Map]

Next to the Iinoya Pass Shrine
- This Spirit Vein can be found at the rock formation in the Iinoya Pass. You'll need the Enko Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse these two Spirit Veins. Traversing this pair of Spirit Veins will lead you to Six Jizo Statues. [Nioh 3 Map]

Southwest of the Mt. Kurama - Kinone Michi Shrine
- From Mt. Kurama - Kinone Michi Shrine, head down the stairs and follow the path, then turn left. You'll find the Spirit Vein on the edge of a cliff. This requires the Enko Guardian Spirit to traverse. This will lead you to a Hot Spring where you can get x2 Yokai Teardrops as well as a buff to your healing. [Nioh 3 Map]

Mount Kurama Spirit Vein (2)
West of the Mt. Kurama - Kinone Michi Shrine
- From Mt. Kurama - Kinone Michi Shrine, continue heading west and go under the tree branch, then climb the ladder. Once you reach the top, turn right, and you'll find the Spirit Vein. Interact with it to open up a path. The Required Guardian to access this Spirit Vein is the Kongojishi (Samurai) / Kongojishi (Ninja). After breaking the boulder, follow the path, and you'll spot a Jailor Oni sitting on the floor. Take them out to clear the area. After that, face north, and you'll spot a corpse for you to loot. It'll contain Prayer Beads and a piece of the Vassal Set. [Nioh 3 Map]

Mount Kurama Spirit Vein (3)
Northwest of the Mt. Kurama - Temple Lodgings Shrine
- From the Kodama you found near the stairs in Mount Kurama, head upward and pass through the arch. Continue down the stairs, then turn right; you'll find the Spirit Vein there. Interact with it to open up a path. The Required Guardian to access this Spirit Vein is the Kongojishi (Samurai) / Kongojishi (Ninja). Breaking the boulder will give you access to a shortcut. By The Cliff's Edge in Kamo Village
- This Spirit Vein can be found along a narrow path near the cliff's edge in Kamo Village. The player is required to have the Kurama Tengu Guardian Spirit to traverse this Spirit Vein. Upon making your way up, you will encounter a Snowclops, an Oni-Bi, and a Thorned Gaki who are loitering over to your left. There will be a corpse among the 3 of them that will contain Prayer Beads and a piece of the Malefactor Set. Continuing on the path on the right, you'll find a couple of corpses containing a Throwing Stone and Sacred Water. There will be a sort of shrine that you'll be able to interact with on your right, prompting you to open the picture scroll. Doing so will spawn a Jailer Oni and a Karakasa Umbrella for you to fight. Kamo Village Spirit Vein (2)
Northeast of the Path of Koyama Shrine
- This Spirit Vein can be found as you continue your way through the first Kamo Village Spirit Vein. This Spirit Vein, similar to the previous one, will require the Kurama Tengu Guardian Spirit. At the top will be a corpse containing Incendiary Arrows. Beside the corpse will be a Six Jizo Site that will award you with +250 Jizo Merit. [Nioh 3 Map]

Kamo Village Spirit Vein (3)
Southeast of the Kamo Village Shrine
- This Spirit Vein can be found near a corpse along the path leading to the Torii Gate on the eastern side of Kamo Village. Players will be required to have the Kurama Tengu Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. Upon making your way up, you'll find an abandoned building with a corpse with Sacred Water to your left. Over on your right, in front of the building, will be a cliff overlooking the village. There will be x2 Ochoko Cups for you to take at the edge of the cliff. [Nioh 3 Map]

East of the Funaokayama Shrine
- Head east from the Funaokayama Shrine, which requires you to also destroy the lesser crucible located southeast of the Spirit Vein's location. This Spirit Vein requires the player to have the Kongojishi (Samurai) / Kongojishi (Ninja) Guardian Spirit unlocked. After destroying the boulder, it will reveal a small area with 3 corpses containing pieces of the Onmyo Hunting Set, Brave Demon Hunter Set, Swordmaster Set, Fuma Ninja Set, Samurai's Locks, Ninja's Locks, Elixir, and the Secret Skills Text: Supreme Burst. Southeast of the Horiike of Arashiyama Shrine
- Head southeast of the Horiike of Arashiyama Shrine. It will be easier if you come around from the northern part of Nishiichi. Players will be required to have the Kurama Tengu Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. Once you make your way up, there will be a lesser Crucible for you to take care of first. After that, there will be a couple of corpses for you to loot, containing the Smithing Text: Moon Charm Helmet. Over on your left will be the second corpse containing Ninja's Locks and some random loot. [Nioh 3 Map]

Southwest Nishiichi
- Head to the southwestern corner of Nishiichi and you'll easily find the Spirit Vein. This Spirit Vein requires you to have the Nekomata Guardian Spirit unlocked and have progressed far enough in the Main Story. After crossing over to the other side, make your way up to the temple above to duel with Nasu no Yoichi. Defeating him will reward you with the Handbook: Falcon Strike, a Fan-Piercing Bow, and pieces of the Blessed Sleeve Set and Lilac Set. [Nioh 3 Map]

East of the Nishiichi Shrine
- Head east from the Nishiichi Shrine. You'll spot the Spirit Vein in the gap on the rock wall on your right. Players will need to have the Kurama Tengu Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein.
- Once you make your way on top, there will be a corpse on an extended snow-covered roof just below the ice wall, containing a Ninja's Text. As you continue your way east, you will face different kinds of Yokai, such as Jailer Oni and Oni-Bi. You'll find another corpse to the right of the collapsed building containing x2 Ochoko Cups. Continue up the hill, and climb up to the roof of the building located behind the collapsed one. There will be another corpse on this roof being pestered by a Kappa. That corpse will contain the Secret Skills Text: Ki-Sapping Follow-Up. Descend from the roof, and you'll find a corpse containing a Throwing Stone just on the path next to a One-eyed Imp. Be careful, though, as once you come up to it, you'll be spotted by the Snowclops, who will then push an ice boulder in your direction from further up the hill. As you make your way down the opposite side of the hill, there will be a ladder and a corpse containing Hand Cannon Ammunition at the bottom. Head right before reaching the ladder to find another corpse, which will contain Rifle Ammunition. [Nioh 3 Map]

Western Hachijo Spirit Vein (2)
Found by Traversing Another Spirit Vein
- As you descend the hill coming from the first Spirit Vein, you'll find a path to your right, and there will be boxes in a corner hiding this Spirit Vein. Players will be required to have the Enko Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. Once you make your way to the other side, head south, by the cliff, you'll find a corpse on your left containing some random loot. Head back north past the Spirit Vein; there will be another corpse that will contain random loot as well. Finally, head west and follow the edge of the cliff to a tombstone where you'll acquire the exotic Dojikiri Yasutsuna for the Memories in the Blade myth. [Nioh 3 Map]

Western Hachijo Spirit Vein (3)
Under the bridge, next to the Nishiichi Shrine
- The Spirit Vein is northwest of the Nishiichi Shrine, just below the bridge. Players will need the Nekomata Guardian Spirit and have progressed enough in the storyline. Once you've gone to the other side of the Spirit Vein, you'll spot a couple of corpses as you make your way up. The corpses will contain random loot. [Nioh 3 Map]

Western Hachijo Spirit Vein (4)
Northwest of the Suzaka Avenue
- Head northwest of the Rajomon: Suzaka Avenue Shrine. Players will be required to have the Oh Guardian Spirit unlocked, as well as have completed 3 of the objectives in this region, to traverse this Spirit Vein. A Crucible Spike will be at the top for you to destroy.[Nioh 3 Map]

Rajomon Spirit Vein
Inside a Dojo
- This Spirit Vein can be found inside a dojo in the southern part of Hachijo. Players are required to have the Kurama Tengu Guardian Spirit to traverse this Spirit Vein. Once you've made your way up, use the hole in the railings to your right to gain access to the corpse below. The corpse will contain Ninja's Texts. [Nioh 3 Map]

Hachijo Underground Cave Spirit Vein
Found Inside an Underground Cave
- This Spirit Vein can be found by entering an underground cave north of the Anneibo Temple Shrine. Players will need the Kurama Tengu Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein and escape back up from the Demon of Envy boss arena. Defeating the boss will reward you with the Demon of Envy Soul Core, pieces of the Upper Vassal Set and Moonprayer Set, and unlocking the Arc of Chaos Fire transformed art. [Nioh 3 Map]

East Hachijo Spirit Vein
At the End of the Filthy Flooded Street
- Head east from the Filthy Flooded Street Shrine and you'll immediately spot the Spirit Vein. Players will be required to have the Kongojishi (Samurai) / Kongojishi (Ninja) Guardian Spirit unlocked, as well as destroy the lesser crucible present just southeast to traverse this Spirit Vein. Destroying this obstacle will reveal a corpse containing Samurai's Locks as well as some random loot. [Nioh 3 Map]

Opposite the Gojo Bridge Shrine
- Follow the shore from the Gojo Bridge Shrine, then take a right just before the temple gate. Players will need to have unlocked the Shami-choro Guardian Spirit to traverse this Spirit Vein; it will also be required for the player to progress through the story far enough to unlock it. Once you've swung through the other side, enter the courtyard and into the building on the left, where there will be a chest containing the Secret Skills Text: Purify Yokai Realm Man. [Nioh 3 Map]

Southeastern Yasaka Shrine Spirit Vein
On the Third Level
- Head up into the tower with the use of the ladders, and on the third level, you'll spot the Spirit Vein. Players will be required to have the Kurama Tengu Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. Once you've made your way up, there will be a One-eye Oni guarding a chest containing Ninja's Text. [Nioh 3 Map]

Western Rokuhara Spirit Vein
West of the Yasaka Shrine: Nishiro Gate
- This Spirit Vein is located northwest of the Nishiro Gate Shrine. Players will be required to have the Nekomata Guardian Spirit unlocked; progression of the storyline is also necessary to obtain the necessary upgrade for this Guardian Spirit. Once you're across, you'll immediately find a corpse at the bottom of the steps containing Sacred Water. Continue to make your way up to the abandoned monk's temple. Hook right, and on top of the roof by the cliff will be another corpse containing the Handbook: Enhanced Shrapnel Bomb. Entering the temple, you'll come face-to-face with Shinran, defeat him in a duel, and you'll be rewarded with the Smithing Text: Sage's Khakkhara, Ichi-no-Tani Helmet, along with pieces of the Light Yamatai Set, Lilac Set, High Priest Set, Oniwaban Set, and Veteran Set. Northeastern Rokuhara Spirit Vein
East of the Gion Grove Shrine of Rokuhara
- This Spirit Vein is located east of the Gion Grove Shrine of Rokuhara. Look for a pile of crates in that sector; you'll find some crates blocking a crawlspace into the rock wall, and you'll immediately spot the Spirit Vein. Take care, as a Spider will drop down on you as you pass through. Players will need the Enko Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. Northwestern Rokuhara Spirit Vein
By the Kamo Riverbank
- Cross the bridge back to Awawa no Tsuji, and you'll spot the Spirit Vein opposite the Kamo Riverbank Shrine. Players will need the Enko Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. At the Northeast Rock Wall
- This Spirit Vein is located at the northeastern corner of the Palace Grounds; Crucible Wasps and a Snowclops guard the way up to it. There will be a rooftop embedded into the rock wall that's been turned into a makeshift ramp up to the Spirit Vein's location. Once you make your way up there, go through the collapsed torii gate. Players must have the Kurama Tengu Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. Palace Grounds Spirit Veins (2)
Western Side of the Palace Grounds
- Head up the western side of the Palace Grounds, it will be next to the western Bodhisattva statue. Players must have the Kurama Tengu Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. Once you've made your way up, enter the temple and fight Minamoto no Yoritomo. Defeating him will unlock the Oh Guardian Spirit and reward you with Samurai's Locks, along with pieces of the Ronin Set, Moonprayer Set, and Blessed Sleeve Set [Nioh 3 Map]

South of the Shichijo Abyss - Stratum Shrine
- Can be found at the edge of the lower section of Shichijo Abyss. You'll initially have to destroy the hardened lava to access this with the use of a cannon located to the east. This Spirit Vein will take you back to the Shichijo Abyss - Stratum Shrine. Players are required to have the Oh Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. Northeast Shichijo Abyss - Stratum Spirit Vein
Northeast of the Shichijo Abyss - Stratum Shrine
- Can be found at the cliff edge through the tunnel by the burning home northeast of the Shichijo Abyss - Stratum Shrine in Shichijo, you'll have to use a cannon to destroy the rocks in the way. Players must have the Oh Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. Just before you make your way up, there will be a corpse next to the Spirit Vein being munched on by a Kappa containing a Braided Straw Helmet and a Dragon's Roar hand cannon. - From the Castle, head north to the edge of the village, and you'll spot the Spirit Vein in front of a small island. Players must have the Shami-choro Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. Once you make your way up, you'll find a Kodama, who, if you lead back home, will reward you with +110 Kodama Merit. At the Foot of a Rock Wall
- Head to the northeastern side of Gion, and there will be two Spirit Veins for you to traverse. There will be a Kamaitachi patrolling in front of this Spirit Vein. - You'll need this Spirit Vein to reach the Kiyomizu Precipice Shrine. It's located at the southern tip of Gion on the cliff wall below the Kiyomizu Precipice Shrine. - Head to the northeastern corner of Kiyomizu. This Spirit Vein, in particular, is closest to the border of Gion. You'll find the Spirit Vein on top of a shed that will take you up to a cliff. - You'll find this at the foot of a rock wall between two kasuga-doro. (traditional Japanese stone lanterns) You'll first have to destroy the Crucible Spike located south of the Dilapidated Temple Shrine. Players must have the Oh Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. Once you make your way up, you'll find 2 corpses guarded by Crucible Wasps (Crucible Wraith in the area). - You'll find this Spirit Vein just below the Six Jizo site. Head east, and you'll find it on a lower rock platform. North of the Kiyomizu Temple - Inner Shrine

- You'll find this Spirit Vein at the southeastern corner of the region, next to the Eastern Kiyomizu Hot Spring. There will be a Sunakake-baba (Crucible Wraith) waiting in ambush nearby. Kiyomizu Temple Spirit Vein (1)
Just outside the Kiyomizu Temple
- This Spirit Vein is just outside, to the south of the Kiyomizu Temple. Kondo Isami will be between you and the Spirit Vein. Defeating him will have him drop pieces of the Flying Kato Set and Ninja Marksman Set, and a Black Fox Mask. Players must have the Oh Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. Once you make your way up, make sure to drop back down to the spike on your left, as there will be a Kodama for you to help get back home. Doing so will reward you with +110 Kodama Merit. After that, head back up, and you'll then be able to use the Kiyomizu Temple - Main Hall Stage Shrine. [Nioh 3 Map]

Kiyomizu Temple Spirit Vein (2)
West of the Kiyomizu Temple
- Head over to the western side of the temple. The Spirit Vein will be between a lantern and a rack of bows. Just before you head down, go past the Spirit Vein, and you will find a chest containing Samurai's Locks. Players must have the Oh Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. Traversing this Spirit Vein will take you all the way down to the boss Onmoraki. Defeating it will complete the Kiyomizu Defiled quest, and reward you with Ninja's Locks and pieces of the Yamatai Set, and High Priest Set [Nioh 3 Map]

- Head over to the northern part of Nijo Castle, and you'll spot a house. The Spirit Vein will be off to the left of the house on the map. Players must have the Oh Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. Once you make your way up to the roof, head to the southeastern corner of the house, and carefully make your way through the open window below. You'll spot a Kodama in front of a chest inside the house. Leading this Kodama back home will reward you with +110 Kodama Merit. The chest contains a Ninja's Text along with some random loot. - This Spirit Vein sits just across the Nijo Castle Ruins Lake Shrine. You must first destroy the lesser crucible located northeast of the Spirit Vein. - These two Spirit Veins sit northeast of the Mibu Temple - Main Gate Shrine. Players must have the Oh Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. Once you make your way down, there will be a corpse in front of you containing random loot, and you'll spot the next and final Spirit Vein in the location, guarded by an Itsumade Crucible Wraith. - This Spirit Vein is right next to the Itsumade Crucible Wraith in the southern part of Nijo Castle. Defeating the Itsumade Crucible Wraith will have it drop the Itsumade Soul Core. Players must have the Oh Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. Once you make it to the bottom, there will be a chest guarded by a Bakegani. Found inside a Cave
- Starting from the southern Bodhisattva Statue. make your way north and enter the cave at the lower parts of the Imperial Palace. Follow the cave's path, and it'll eventually take you to the northwestern corner of the Imperial Palace. Players must have the Kurama Tengu Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. In a Collapsed House in the Middle
- It can be found at the end of a hallway in the collapsed house in the middle. Players must have the Oh Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. Once you make your way to the bottom, the Onryoki will be waiting for you.[Nioh 3 Map]

By the Hot Spring High in the Tower
- Make your way to the top of the tower where the Hot Spring is located within the Imperial Palace. Players must have the Oh Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. Once you make your way down, there will be a corpse to your south containing Samurai's Locks. [Nioh 3 Map]

Nioh 3 All Spirit Veins in Eternal Rift
In a Hole in the Wall Opposite the Stairs
- After receiving the Guiding Mirror from Ii Naotora during The Hamamatsu Incident quest and using it, you'll be transported to the Eternal Rift. Once you've arrived, head north and head inside the building. Look for the hole in the wall, and you'll spot the Spirit Vein. The Required Guardian to access this Spirit Vein is the Kongojishi (Samurai) / Kongojishi (Ninja). After destroying the boulder with the help of the guardian spirit, you'll spot a chest that contains a Bizen Uchigatana, Omamori, and a piece of the Heirloom Set. [Nioh 3 Map]

Outside the Northern Building
- This Spirit Vein is located on the right side of the Northern Building. Players are required to have the Oh Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. Once you've made your way up, enter the building through the opening, and you'll spot some random loot. [Nioh 3 Map]

On the ledge of the Southwestern Building

Edo Castle Inner Wall
- Head to the wall located to the south of the Edo Castle: Garden and first defeat Gozuki and the Yokai present in the area. After that, the wall will start glowing, indicating that you can interact with it with your Guardian Spirit. Players must have the Kongojishi (Samurai) / Kongojishi (Ninja) Guardian Spirit unlocked to pass this Spirit Vein. Once you're through to the other side, there will be a corpse in front of you that will contain an Arrowproof Amulet. [Nioh 3 Map]

Edo Castle Spirit Vein (2)
At the Edo Castle Garden
- Head to the gate located to the north of the Edo Castle: Garden Shrine and defeat Gozuki and the Yokai present in the area. After that. You'll spot the Spirit Vein by the gate to the north. Players must have the Kurama Tengu Guardian Spirit unlocked to pass this Spirit Vein. Once you're up on the gate, there will be a ladder for you to kick down on the left. [Nioh 3 Map]

- Once you've made your way back to Edo Castle for the final battle, look behind you, and you'll find the first Spirit Vein at the bottom of the well. Players must have the Kurama Tengu unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. Make your way down the well and follow the path to the end, you'll spot a corpse for you to loot. [Nioh 3 Map]

Past the First Bodhisattva Statue
- Keep following the path south past the Bodhisattva Statue; it's just before the White Drawing Rooms; you'll need it to cross the fault in the earth. You'll have to first destroy the nearby lesser crucible present. Players must have the Enko Guardian Spirit to be able to traverse this Spirit Vein. Once you make your way through, you'll be able to get the next Bodhisattva Statue. [Nioh 3 Map]

Past the Second Bodhisattva Statue
- Continue making your way south from the second Bodhisattva Statue, and you'll find this Spirit Vein at the southern end of a courtyard found north of the Black Drawing Rooms Bodhisattva Statue, beware as you'll have to fight the boss Kasha, then Nuribotoke before you can get any closer to the Spirit Vein. Players must have the Shami-choro Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. Once you make your way up, you'll be able to use the third Bodhisattva Statue [Nioh 3 Map]

South of the Black Drawing Rooms
- Continue heading south from the Black Drawing Rooms till you enter a very unrecognizable house, and you'll find the spirit vein at the southwestern corner of it. Players must have the Oh Guardian Spirit unlocked to be able to traverse this Spirit Vein. Once you make your way down, there will be two hostile warriors for you to take out. Once you've dealt with them, continue following the path till you spot the corpse containing random loot. [Nioh 3 Map]

- This Spirit Vein is visible from the last Spirit Vein's location, but you'll need to come around to the west to reach this Spirit Vein. Players must have the Oh Guardian Spirit unlocked to be able to traverse this Spirit Vein. [Nioh 3 Map]

- From the last Spirit Vein, head up the stairs, then continue heading south, and you'll spot the Spirit Vein on a wall. Players must have the Kongojishi (Samurai)/ Kongojishi (Ninja) Guardian Spirit unlocked to burst through this Spirit Vein. Once you're through, you'll find 2 more Spirit Veins. [Nioh 3 Map]
Beyond the Wall
- You'll have to burst through the previous Spirit Vein to get to this one. Players must have the Shami-choro Guardian Spirit unlocked to traverse this Spirit Vein. Once you make your way up, you'll then be able to traverse the next Spirit Vein. [Nioh 3 Map]

Hidden Staircase guarded by a Nurikabe
- Head inside the room behind the Edo Castle - Passageway Bodhisattva Statue, and get past the Nurikabe by using the correct-colored gesture or defeating it. Once you're through to the room it was guarding, head right, and up onto the staircase, the spirit Vein will be at the top of it. - Head south from the Edo Castle: Keep Watchtower Bodhisattva Statue, past the folding screens. Jump down on the rock, then you'll spot the Spirit Vein on a small piece of roofing. Players must have the Oh Guardian Spirit to traverse this Spirit Vein. Traversing this Spirit Vein will lead to the only Hot Spring in the area. Bathing in the Hot Spring will reward you with x2 Yokai Teardrops. [Nioh 3 Map]
