DLC in Nioh 3 are downloadable content that expands the game's features, story, and characters in the game. Nioh 3 Hell Rising Overview

Hell Rising is the first DLC Title included in the Season Pass, which is scheduled to release on August 19 for PlayStation®5 and Steam®. This DLC features new narrative chapters, yokai variants, bosses, equipment, and more.

In Hell Rising, a rebellion threatens the shogunate as a secret plot around the Spirit Stones emerges, and Takechiyo must return to the Crucible, hoping to defy it again.

Our protagonist and appointed shogun, Takechiyo, journeys through time and is led to Edo in the future by an unknown yokai he met in his dreams. There, following the death of the future Takechiyo, the era of peace has ended, and Edo has been retaken by the Crucible.

With the cooperation of a one-eyed swordsman, Yagyu Jubei, and a Spanish envoy, Rodrigo, Takechiyo faces yet another plot revolving around Spirit Stones and an enemy with a strong resentment towards the shogunate.
