Weapon Skills in Nioh 3 are combat maneuvers obtained from various Weapons. Weapon Skills are activated with a specific command to trigger the special attack or movement. Players can acquire Weapon Skills from the Ninja and Samurai styles, using their obtained Ninja and Samurai Locks, respectively. Weapon Skills can be accessed by navigating to the Skill Management view from the main menu, or in any Shrine. Skill Points can only be used in the related Weapons to unlock new nodes within the skill tree. Each node enhances the player's combat style with the chosen weapon, offering new techniques, passives, and other powerful moves to support the player's combat approach.

How Do Weapons Skills Work in Nioh 3?
Weapon Skills can be activated through the Skill Management option in the Shrine Menu. These skills are unlocked by spending Samurai Points and Ninja Points in their individual skill trees, granting combat maneuvers and special movesets. Once learned, you can activate (equip) the Martial Arts and Ninjutsu by going to the Customize Martial Arts/Ninjutsu option in the Main Menu. Samurai and Ninja points are acquired by finding Samurai's Locks and Ninja's Locks, which give you 1 Samurai and 1 Ninja points, respectively.
Skill points can only be used in their respective weapon categories, or respective fighting styles. For example, a Samurai point can be spent on Samurai Skill Tree, or any of the Samurai-compatible weapons, such as Axes, Odachi, Dual Swords, and Spears. The same goes for the Ninja Skill Tree, and Ninja-compatible weapons.
