Nasu no Yoichi Fight Strategy

Nasu no Yoichi was a known general during the Heian period and was also a vassal to Minamoto no Yoritomo. Many believe that his real name is Munetaka. During his time, the name Yoichi means one more than ten, which is a nickname for Yoichi's status as the eleventh son.

You will encounter Yoichi as a Master in the lands of Nishiichi, and he is also considered to be a formidable foe. Yoichi will be using different sets of skills and abilities during your battle. One of his attacks is the searing arrow attack, wherein Yoichi will be shooting arrows from a great distance. If you are hit by these arrows, you will take massive damage to your health. Make sure to use the covers to avoid getting hit by the arrows.

Yoichi can also perform some melee attacks using his katana. One of his melee attacks is the katana slash attack, wherein Yoichi will try to slash you with his katana. You can block this attack as long as you keep your guard up.

Another type of arrow attack that Yoichi performs is the triple-searing arrow attack. Yoichi will start shooting triple-searing arrows at a time, which also causes fire damage. This attack is very powerful and may kill you instantly if you are caught in it. To avoid taking damage from this attack, move sideways or in the opposite direction of the attack.

Yoichi has another type of range attack, which is the bomb-throwing attack. Yoichi will throw a bomb near him to avoid being attacked. This bomb will inflict a good amount of damage if you are caught during the explosion.

You will again encounter Yoichi during the myth of "Beneath a Pure White Flag". Yoichi will also be using the previous skill sets during this second encounter. One of the attacks that he performs is the triple searing arrow attack, wherein Yoichi will be shooting three arrows at a time.

Another type of attack that Yoichi will reuse is the bomb-throwing attack. Yoichi will throw a bomb at his current position, which acts as both offense and defense.

Yoichi will also be utilizing his katana slash attack during your second encounter. He will come forward, trying to slash you with his katana multiple times. You can always block this attack and avoid taking damage, as long as you utilize your guarding ability.

Searing Arrow Attack

The Searing Arrow Attack is when Yoichi shoots arrows from a great distance. These arrows will inflict maximum damage to your health and can instantly kill you if your health is lower than fifty percent. Make sure to use the covers or barriers on the battlefield to avoid taking damage from these arrows.

Katana Slash Attack

The Katana Slash Attack is when Yoichi performs a melee attack. He will try to slash you with his katana multiple times, inflicting a good amount of damage if you're caught during this attack. You can block this attack by utilizing your guarding ability.

Triple Searing Arrow Attack

The Triple Searing Arrow Attack is when Yoichi switches back in using his bow to perform a range attack. This attack is also very powerful and deadly. The Triple Searing Arrow Attack is Yoichi's deadliest attack. He will begin by creating a distance first, then eventually shooting multiple arrows towards your direction, which can also inflict fire damage over time. To avoid taking damage from this attack, make sure to move sideways or in the opposite direction of the attack.
