Lake Hamana is a Location in Nioh 3. Lake Hamana is a unique area located in the western sector during the Warring States era. Upon entering the area, players will be greeted with the Daidara Bocchi, a monstrous enemy that continuously spits projectiles at you. Players will then have to find the shining stone and place it back where it belongs to stop the Yokai's rampage. Locations provide information on all the places that you can explore. Players can now explore areas that are outside of Missions and freely travel from one area to another, without the need to travel back to the hub

• The Horie Castle - Outwork Shrine can be reached after passing through the Coastal area of Lake Hamana. [Nioh 3 Map]
• A Spirit Vein can be found south of the Horie Castle - Outwork Shrine, guarded by a Jailer Oni and a Sunakake-baba. [Nioh 3 Map]
  • Players are required to have the Guardian Spirit: Kongojishi (Samurai) / Kongojishi (Ninja) to traverse through the Spirit Vein and acquire the Secret Skills Text: Fortitude II from a corpse. [Nioh 3 Map]
• Just outside the prison area, near the boats, will be a Chijiko floating in the air that will grant you an x1 Ninja's Locks and unlock the Transformed Art: Abscission Combo [Nioh 3 Map]
• The next shrine, from the Main Keep, can be located past the prison area, above a staircase. This will lead you to Horie Castle.
  • Behind a locked door, inside the Horie Castle, will be a Hot Spring. [Nioh 3 Map]
  • Just within the outer wall of the Horie Castle by the cliff's edge, will be the Cell Keys. [Nioh 3 Map] Dropping down from the cliff will lead you to the prison area of Lake Hamana. Behind the cells will be a Kodama [Nioh 3 Map]
  • Next to the Kodama is a corpse where you can acquire an x1 Ninja's Locks [Nioh 3 Map]
• Opposite the Shrine Pedestal will be a broken-down temple with a large chest where you can acquire the Secret Skills Text: Indomitable Spirit. [Nioh 3 Map]
• Across the broken-down temple will be a pathway that will lead you to a Lesser Crucible. [Nioh 3 Map]
  • Clearing the Lesser Crucible will lead you to the Shining Stone, which is to be used at the Shrine Pedestal.
• Players can fight against Taigen Sessai, a Master located in the coastal area, north of the Horie Castle - Outwork Shrine, after completing the Myth Disaster at Lake Hamana. [Nioh 3 Map]
  • Defeating Taigen Sessai will grant you the Handbook: Lumber Chop.
• Head to the northern corner of Lake Hamana to find a Kappa and a Crucible Spike. [Nioh 3 Map]
• As you exit and scale back up, there will be a Scampuss in the middle of the floor just before you reach the entrance cave. [Nioh 3 Map]
  • Completing the Scampuss challenge will reward you with x1 Ninja's Locks, x1 Yokai Teardrop, and x1 Scampuss Furball.

• You'll find two corpses next to each other at the top of a small cliff.
• You'll find a corpse on the westernmost side of the coastal area of Lake Hamana.
• You'll find a corpse on the pathway next to the Horie Castle - Outwork Shrine.
• You'll find a corpse next to a few graves.
• You'll find a corpse leaning on a tree just outside of Horie Castle.
• You'll find a corpse near the edge of a platform after traversing a Spirit Vein using the Guardian Spirit Kongojishi (Samurai) / Kongojishi (Ninja).
• You'll find a corpse near the entrance bridge of Horie Castle.
• You'll find a corpse inside Horie Castle just past the entrance gate.
• You'll find a corpse on top of a wooden platform inside Horie Castle.
• You'll find a corpse across the locked prison cell.
• You'll find a corpse next to a small boat in the prison area.
• You'll find a corpse on top of a wooden platform guarded by a Jailer Oni past the prison area.
