Undertaker is a Nightfarer in Nightreign. Undertaker is a new Nightfarer exclusive to the DLC, Forsaken Hollows. The Undertaker is an abbess who moves with great agility, focused on dealing heavy damage with her hammer, and has great synergy with other Nightfarers. Nightfarers are predetermined classes that fulfill a different archetype within the game. Picking your Nightfarer or Class can be considered the most important choice players make at the start of the game, since their decision will impact their gameplay and style of play.
An abbess who was mandated by her monastery to slay the Nightlord. Her uncanny strength belies her physique, leading others to keep her at a distance and eventually assign her to the unenviable task of burying the dead.
Boasting impressive strength and faith, she is an unassuming gatekeeper to the afterlife who annihilates enemies with ruthless efficiency.

How to Unlock the Undertaker in Elden Ring Nightreign
Players are required to defeat Gladius Beast of Night (Tricephalos) to unlock the Scholar and Undertaker. Once you've defeated the beast, return to the Roundtable Hold and speak to the Iron Menial, who provides you with a message from the Small Jar Bazaar.
Elden Ring Nightreign Undertaker Key Features
- Weapon Preferences: Hammers
- Undertaker Key Attributes are Faith and Strength.
- A swift damage-dealing class capable of shredding enemies.
- A Scaling in Strength and Faith.
- B Scaling in Health, and C Scaling in both FP and Stamina.
- Great Nightfarer class for players who prefer aggressive gameplay.
- At any point, you have Undertaker's Ultimate Art ready, it is highly recommended to use it to take advantage of the buffs.
- Undertaker is great to be paired with the Duchess. If an ally uses their ultimate art, Undertaker's passive can trigger, so she can use Loathsome Hex, follow this up with Duchess's Restage skill to reapply the damage dealt to the enemy.
Unique Relic Effects for the Undertaker:
- [Undertaker] Activating Ultimate Art increases attack power.
- [Undertaker] Contact with allies restores their HP while Ultimate Art is activated.
- [Undertaker] Attack power increased by landing the final blow of a chain attack.
- [Undertaker] Physical attacks boosted while assist effect from incantation is active for self.
Confluence Passive Ability
- Ally's execution of art enables additional art activation regardless of gauge.
- When an ally Nightfarer activates their ultimate art, Undertaker can use her ultimate art for free regardless of how full the gauge is for her ultimate art.
Trance Character Skill
- Bloodletting triggers the power of the loathsome hex.
- (Xbox Controller): Hold Y+LT with max Art gauge: Enhanced version of trance after a brief charge up.
- (Xbox Controller) * or press RT while holding Y+LT to instantly activate enhanced trance without any charge up period.
Normal Effects:
- When players activate this skill, Undertaker's running speed becomes faster without consuming stamina
- Poise, and defense are increased.
- Dodge improves into a movement similar to quickstep.
- gain enhanced attack after four hits with her hammer for the rest of the ability duration. (Required number of hits varies between weapon types).
If Undertaker's Ultimate Art gauge is full, players can use it to acquire greater temporary buffs on top of what is already acquired using trance.
- Attack power is significantly increased.
- Duration increased to 15 seconds
- Automatically dodge all incoming attacks for the duration of her enhanced trance.
Loathsome Hex Ultimate Art
- Pull out uncanny bone from body, speed toward target, and strike.
- (Xbox Controller): Y+RT to activate
- Once activated, Undertaker will fly directly at the target to unleash a powerful blow.
- Long-range ultimate art, has high damage, and can be activated while you're in mid-air.
- Great for closing in the distance between you and the target.
- Even though it is considered a long-range ability, highly recommended to practice at the Roundtable Hold's Sparring Grounds to get accustomed to its range.
- You can potentially waste this ultimate art since Undertaker can slam into obstacles. Make sure the path is clear before you pop Loathsome Hex.
- If an ally is down or in the "Near death" state, you can also use this to get to them quicker. The impact will also contribute to depleting the near death gauge.

Undertaker Best Relics Guide for Nightreign
Recommended Relics for Undertaker
Recommended Relic Effects for Undertaker
- Partial HP Restoration upon Post-Damage attacks
- Ultimate Art Autocharge +3
- Character Skill Cooldown +3
- Activating Ultimate Art increases attack power
- Attack power increased by landing the final blow of a chain attack
The main focus of the Undertaker's kit is her ability to deal heavy damage with her hammer, while being able to use her ultimate art as much as possible whenever her allies use theirs. The Undertaker is an agile heavy hitter that can stagger enemies and interrupt their attacks with the help of Loathsome Hex. She has higher Strength that directly lends to her wielding Hammers, while her Faith helps with making incantations and buffs more potent for herself. Some Relics you should look for include the Leather Monocle Case and the Glass Necklace.
The Leather Monocle Case is a blue relic that you can obtain by completing the first section of her rememberance quest line. Its first effect states that "physical attacks are boosted while assist effect from incantation is active for self". While that first effect is active, her attacks will deal more damage to enemies while a self-inflicting incantation affects her. This includes buffs like Golden Vow. This effect can also be activated using weapon-buffing incantations. The extended spell duration effect of this relic also means these buffs' durations are longer, providing the Undertaker with the damage boost for longer periods of time. The last effect of the relic gives a flat +2 to Physical Attacks.
The Glass Necklace, the Undertaker's unique Relic, is a green relic that you obtain by completing the Undertaker's remembrance questline. The Glass Necklace not only boosts her attack power upon the activation of her Ultimate art Loathsome Hex, but her successive attacks also boost attack power. Its last effect, which increases the rate at which her ultimate art fills up, means that the first effect of the relic will also be activated much more often. All these effects will greatly benefit the Undertaker as it synergizes well with her passive ability Confluence, which gives the player a free activation of her Ultimate Art whenever an ally spends their Ultimate Art, boosting her own damage, and following attacks after that will also deal more damage.
The Dark Night of the Champion is a yellow relic that can be obtained by purchasing it from the Collector Signboard after defeating the Everdark Sovereign Darkdrift Knight. This relic helps the Undertaker fill her Art gauge faster and also increases maximum stamina which can help with management, even with the instant stamina restoration for her Trance skill.
The Will of the Balancers is a blue relic that is perfect for the Undertaker. Its first effect improves melee attack power, which, in combination with other relic effects players equip on the Undertaker, gives that boost to her damage as she trades damage with enemies. Its second effect proves Skill Attack Power. The Undertaker is someone who can rely on using her Ashes of War will greatly benefit from this effect. Its last effect gives continuous FP recovery, which will help with getting a little bit more usage of Skill Attacks from the Undertaker.
Some Relic effects to keep an eye out for: "Partial HP Restoration upon Post-Damage Attacks". The Undertaker's playstyle leans aggressive with you diving into melee and trading a lot of hits from enemies and bosses. This effect is highly recommended since you have high Poise while trance is activated, it will help with recovering a bit of HP after tanking some damage and continue dealing damage to enemies. Ultimate Art Auto Charge +3 is helpful with making sure your Ultimate Art can be used more often, which gives you more opportunities to stagger a boss and burst damage. Attack power increased by landing the final blow of a chain attack is an Undertaker-unique effect that is not found in her unique relics. Being able to increase your attack power from successive attacks can help boost your damage heavily in synergy with other effects from other relics if you can manage to apply other buffs to her as well.
Best Relics with Fixed Effects for Undertaker in Elden Ring Nightreign
The Grand Tranquil Scene can be purchased from the Small Jar Bazaar at the Roundtable Hold for 1,000
. This Relic has a fixed effect, which will provide the following:
- [Undertaker] Attack Power increased by landing the final blow of a chain attack.
- Strength +2
- Faith +2
This can serve as an early substitute to the Glass Necklace for players who have not yet completed the Undertaker's final remembrance quest. This relic provides a boost to her damage as this gives the effect of boosting attack power when landing the final hit of a chain attack. It also buffs Strength and Faith which are the main stats of her kit.
The other variant of Grand Tranquil Scene can also be purchased from the Small Jar Bazaar for 1,000
. This relic has a fixed effect, which will provide the following:
- Partial HP Restoration upon Post-Damage Attacks
- Vigor +2
- Poise +2
This set of effects works well with the Undertaker as it gives her even more survivability with the HP restoration, the buff to Poise means that there's less chance of getting staggered and even more so while Trance is active. The buff to poise will also give her more health, which also helps with her survivability when trading hits with enemies.

Nightreign Undertaker Remembrance Quest Walkthrough
How to Unlock and Start Remembrance Quests in Nightreign
In Nightreign, players can randomly find journal entries related to the corresponding Nightfarer that they are using in an Expedition, which are key components to starting Remembrance Quests. These quests provide a backstory to the eight Nightfarers in the game, with players starting a Remembrance through the Roundtable Hold. When completed, these Remembrances will give rewards to players, such as Relics and Garbs (Skins).
When players are stuck in a part of a Remembrance Quest, or if a journal entry is missing, they may start an Expedition with the Nightfarer that they want to progress the quest. Then, defeat the Nightlord and the players will be able to do the next step of the quest. For more information about Remembrance Quests, players may visit this page.
Undertaker Remembrance: The Nightfarers
Part 1, Undertaker Remembrance Objectives:
- Unlock the Undertaker
- Run an Expedition or defeat one Nightlord to collect memory fragments.
- Talk to the Iron Menial
- Defeat the Iron Menial
- Defeat the Nightfarers.
- Apologize to the Iron Menial
- Absorb Night's Power
- Speak to the Scholar
Chapter 1 for the Undertaker Remembrance is immediately available when you unlock the Undertaker. To unlock the Undertaker, you need to have The Forsaken Hollows DLC. Using any character, you then need to defeat Gladius Beast of Night (Tricephalos) to unlock the Undertaker and Scholar. Once you've defeated the beast, return to the Roundtable Hold and speak to the Iron Menial, who provides you with a message from the Small Jar Bazaar. You can then unlock Chapter 2 and acquire memory fragments by defeating any Nightlord.
As the Undertaker, head to the "Journal" area at the Roundtable Hold to start reliving the Undertaker's Remembrance. Flip to Chapter 3 and "Begin Remembrance". You will get a new objective marker that will point you towards the Iron Menial. Speak to him, and after the dialogue ends, he will begin to attack you. You need to defeat him to progress through the Remembrance Quest.

After you defeat the Iron Menial, make your way towards the chapel. You will face off against the different Nightfarers along the way.
- Firstly, you will encounter the Executor by the "Journal" Area. You need to be careful of his ability to parry your attacks.
- You will then need to fight and defeat the Guardian and the Recluse in the Roundtable room.
- You will then find the Wylder near the Visual Codex.
- The last two you will encounter will be the Ironeye and the Raider in the Chapel.

After you successfully deal with the Nightfarers, the Iron Menial will appear and you need to apologize to him. Exhaust the dialogue until he leaves, and there will be a wall to your right by the altar highlighted by a purple glow. Approach the wall and smash the glow to interact with it and absorb its power.

You then need to find the Scholar by the Garden. You will be alerted of footsteps nearby. Exit the Chapel and head left, then follow the path to find the Scholar next to a statue and speak to him. The Scholar will give you the Leather Monocle Case and he will ask that you tell the other Nightfarers that he died and did not come back to life. You will be able to conclude the first Remembrance quest by interacting with the small glowing area nearby. Completing this section of the Undertaker's remembrance quest will reward you with a unique relic for the Undertaker, the Leather Monocle Case.

Undertaker Remembrance: Search for the Scholar in Limveld
Part 2, Undertaker Remembrance Objectives:
- Run an Expedition or defeat any Nightlord to collect memory fragments.
- Talk to the Priestess
- Offer a prayer at the Chapel
- Talk to the Iron Menial
- Start a Balancers Expedition
- Find the Scholar
- Acquire the Scholar's Primal Core
Chapter 4 of the Undertaker's Journal will be unlocked upon completing Chapter 3. You then need to collect more memory fragments in order to get Chapter 5 and begin the next Remembrance. To start the next remembrance, go back to the "Journal" area at the Roundtable Hold and "Begin Remembrance" on Chapter 5.

You then need to speak to the Priestess at the Roundtable and exhaust all dialogue with her. After the dialogue ends, make your way to the Chapel and go towards the altar. You will be able to interact with the prompt that says "Offer prayer". After you conclude your prayer, go and talk to the Iron Menial by the Visual Codex and exhaust all dialogue. You will then receive a new objective to search for the Scholar in Limveld.

To do this, you need to start a Balancers Expedition which will take you to the Great Hollow. You will be able to see an objective marker in the northwestern area of your map. Make your way to the location and enter the crystal castle. Defeat the enemies you encounter along the way as you go to the library wing of the castle and climb up to the top using the stairs.

At the top, you can jump on the hanging rock-crystal platform suspended by the chains and carefully jump up onto the beams. Following the marker, make your way towards the hole on the wall to the east and through the corridor to enter the room to the left. You will be able to find the Scholar encased in crystal. Interact with the Scholar to take the Scholar's Primal Core. After doing so, you can complete the Expedition.

Once you've completed the Expedition and acquired the Scholar's Primal Core, talk to the Scholar at the Chapel and exhaust the dialogue. You will receive the Night-Hued Glass and the Bundled Paper. After receiving both items, you can then complete this section of the Undertaker's Remembrance and receive the Undertaker's Chalice.

Undertaker Remembrance: Heolstor, the Nightlord
Part 3. Undertaker Remembrance Objectives:
- Start a Night Aspect Expedition and defeat Heolstor
- Acquire the Dismembered Finger
- Drop the Dismembered Finger
- Interact with the corpse
To start the last section of the Undertaker's Remembrance Quest, you need to complete a Night Aspect Expedition as the Undertaker. Specifically, you need to defeat Heolstor, the Nightlord. After defeating the Nightlord, you will find the Dismembered Finger in your inventory.

Before you end the Expedition like normal, you need to approach the corpse and discard the Dismembered Finger from your inventory near the corpse at the center of the Roundtable area. To make sure you have done things correctly, look out for the Undertaker's voiceline "This will do... I'm sure." before interacting with the body and offering the Nightlord's Rune.

A small cutscene will play as you end the Expedition before you return to the Roundtable Hold. Shortly after you load back into the Hold, you will receive the Remembrance Skin for the Undertaker, as well as her character relic, the Glass Necklace. The completion of this section of her remembrance will officially close the Undertaker's Remembrance Quest.

Elden Ring Nightreign Undertaker Journal
Undertaker Journal: Chapter 1
A sky of clouds. In the distance the sun breaks through, only to disappear again.
“Go. To the place where they await you. Only there will you find your salvation.”
The father told me that those were the words of our God. I think he was seizing an opportunity to be rid of me.
Loathsome thing that I am, I do not fault him for it.
Undertaker Journal: Chapter 2
A sky of clouds. They seem to be making their way across the sky with greater speed than usual.
My whole life has been a loathsome affair. I have no parents or family to call my own. At the monastery, the other children shunned me, as did the adults. I hunted beasts in the woods, partook of their flesh and blood, and was feared.
As I grew I learned that my constitution required a constant stream of power to consume. Once, I tried to resist, but the shakes and pain became unbearable. As the delirium reached its zenith, I had bitten my own arm without knowing.
Living was hard, but choosing death was unthinkable. Since then, I have lived the span of many lives.
Yet nobody understands me.
I remain alone.
Undertaker Journal: Chapter 3
A sky of clouds. The foaming waves appear darkest gray.
The power of Night spreads across the land. To me it feels like a blessing and a curse. Its taste is bitter, and it makes me nauseous. Yet somehow it soothes my ever-churning mind.
I wonder, will I change too, if I overcome this Night? What if I remain the same... I don't want to relinquish this power the Night has brought...
Ah, that reminds me. I believe the Iron Menial said she had an important task for me, today.
Undertaker Journal: Chapter 4
A sky of clouds. Humid and stifling.
He saw me...
I'm lucky it was only the Scholar. He can be trusted. As long as I do as he says, it will all be fine...
I'm also having hallucinations, as if everyone were frightened of me. I'm starting to believe it might be true. I feel sick. The melancholy is growing to be too much.
But when I clutch the leather case I was given, it grants me respite from my thoughts.
Undertaker Journal: Chapter 5
A sky of clouds. Seabirds sing in the distance.
It's been several days since the Scholar disappeared from the Roundtable Hold. He must have been serious...
The Priestess is trying to gather information as to his whereabouts. She believed him dedicated to her cause - his sudden absence puzzles her. Rare though it is, this is not the first time a Nightfarer has disappeared.
All I can do is remain true to our bargain.
Undertaker Journal: Chapter 6
A sky of clouds. The wind is wrong.
The Scholar has returned. I'm surprised he has regained his form considering what he was reduced to...
As I wiped my mouth of the stains of the Night, I began to ponder. Was I attempting to atone for my sins? I cannot say for certain. He knew my secret, perhaps I was simply scared.
Though I failed to uphold my promise, he chose me a second time - I can only assume he saw some use in me yet.
I feel a calmness when holding the glass he gave me. Perhaps this will help me overcome the hunger. Without feasting on the succor of Night.
Undertaker Journal: Chapter 7
A sky of clouds. A few rays of sunlight peek through.
My life had been a loathsome affair.
Those around me kept their distance as I moved from place to place. At times I was pressed into battle, and piled the corpses high.
What could be a path to peace had been offered to me, and the sacrifices would be worth it.
For me, with little else but bloodshed to call a talent, perhaps I had found my purpose.
I have come to believe it is, now.
AnonymousThis character is nothing without her ability, so it feels really bad without a recharge on it +3

Anonymousmatched up with an undertaker named "ranni's smelly feet" the other day. Great player, 10/10 would sniff again.

Anonymousthe best undertaker fanart i've seen so far was by debyjull on twitter, iykyk

AnonymousIf you play any melee characters you should do an everdark as undertaker, the 2 relics it unlocks in the signboard are peak

AnonymousI haven’t played nightreign but ngl I want her to pin me to a wall and do bad things to me

Anonymouspin me up against the wall and lick me like you licked the purple stuff mommy

Anonymous
AnonymousThere's something I don't seem to find mentionned anywhere.. When I dodge purple grab attacks from nightlords with her she gains use of her Art. is this right or is it something? My friend's skill wasn't ready

Anonymousscholar undertaker is the only good straight ship in all of fiction

Anonymous>STR character
>has less END than the pot throwing character
Also she needed a unique moveset for great hammers.
AnonymousUse fists with the necklace and her Dex relic. If you want to use curve swords necklace. Wydler, executor, duchess are a LOT better. Her Dex is not high enough.

AnonymousCan someone explain to me the allure of the double curved sword build? I swear every other undertaker has a fully optimized hacked relic loadout for it and it doesn't even do impressive damage.

Anonymousthe beauty of this character is that it turns support/utility ults like guardian and revenant into dps ults. double undertaker guardian is a really fun and safe comp to play, even in the depths.

AnonymousPLEASE Undertaker don't pick up something with Ground Slam on it and rez me with that PLEASE it totally wouldn't be fun

Anonymous1. She is NOT A DEX character. Her dex relic gets her at 35 dex which is lower than Wylder. I don't know why there are so many dumbasses that run her with curved swords, a lot of randoms run curved swords even without even the relic. wtf.
2. She HAS ONE OF THE LOWEST DAMAGE NEGATION. Lower damage negation than even Duchess. Most of you have probably noticed that Duchess has also been replaced as the most knocked out random with Undertakers playing like Raiders and getting hit and killed left and right.
I can't with these randoms.
AnonymousWhat's with all these dumb randoms taking less likely to be targeted on Undertaker? She's a frontliner ffs

Anonymous
Anonymous
AnonymousWant THE forbidden build?
I got a 'dormant power helps discover greatbows' relic and have been using it on undertaker. The character skill & art+skill has weirdly good synergy with greatbows due to the instant stamina refill. The only purple greatbow in the game you can drop is the erdtree greatbow which has strength+faith scaling. Building damage is kind of limited on relics, but skill damage and skill cooldown are great and general survive-ability and max stamina are good too. The range on greatbows is massive and the 'through and through' skill has even more. A single 'damage falloff' item passive is normally enough to snipe the hell out of everything without any drop-off and having 2 is infinite. You can even just shoot enemies and bosses from areas they can't reach you. You take aggro a lot which is actually a good thing since bosses will just aura walk at you from a mile away as your teammates beat their asses. Nightlord AI in co-op can't comprehend the cross arena rail cannon. The poise damage is simply insane as well. Reviving allies is also weirdly good since you can fire barely fast enough to avoid the regen and 'through and through' can pierce enemies to hit downed teammates. 'Rain of arrows' is more niche, but can absolutely melt some bigger stationary targets. Having 2-4 starlight shards for the nightlord will do wonders. You can always keep a melee weapon in your offhand too so it's not like you are locked into using the greatbow for everything.
This is the most deranged way to play Undertaker I've found. I think it's incredibly powerful, even in depth 4+. It's not easy to get used to just how different it is from normal gameplay though. I can't say I'd recommend this for solo play, but in co-op it's hilarious.
WITH A HAIL OF HARPOONS! WITH EVERY LAST DROP OF MY BEING!
AnonymousNow that the hype has died off this character is pretty consistently played by extremely toxic players, at least in depths.

AnonymousAnyone else use their five minute cooldown during the wall scene?

AnonymousShes not even just hot. Shes pure seduction. I'd give her a hammer anyday

AnonymousThe worst thing about Undertaker and Duchess is the same as anime girls: they don't exist IRL.

AnonymousStat scaling of B C C A D D A C, come on FromSoft, somewhere in that sequence, there should be A S S

Anonymous
AnonymousHey Undercakers,
I know you guys have really good FTH scaling but please stop taking seals from your Recluses. Unlike you, we actually have the FP to throw out more than 2 fireballs before chowing down on starlight shards. If it has a buff like golden vow, flame grant me strength, or one of the element negation buffs, it's all yours. But if you pick up a seal with Lightning Spear and Rejection, just give it to the Recluse or Revenant. I promise you we'll make more use out of it than you will.
Sincerely,
A Recluse who had FIVE seals stolen from her by a brainlet UnderCaker

AnonymousIs IT just my imagination or does She have a different walk animation than The other classes?

AnonymousWorst nightfarer EVER! Every time one of my teammates play her, I always end up analyzing her cake instead of the enemies...

AnonymousYou cannot look me in the eye and tell me Fromsoft did not know what they were doing when they put her to lick that wall like that, total fanservice, real talk.

AnonymousDark Night of the Miasma + Dark Night of the Beast + The Night of Dregs is an awesome combo with her
- you use less stamina for attacks, so you can attack more
- Frost makes you deal more damage, and it makes you invisible so you can attack without the enemy attacking back
- taking damage gives you extra damage and rot buildup, and you take less physical damage, AND you get regen when something rots nearby, so you can attack even more recklessly.
I stopped using the yellow relic for evergaol boosts but don't regret it, coupled with the facts that her 1 can be activated mid animation and fully restores stamina, and prayerful strike has like infinite hyperarmor and heals, i find this combo insanely fun.
Anonymous
Anonymousit is funny, when in her former life with artorias, she is the Extrovert and full of energy. when artorias is calm and introvert.
Yang\ Yin
AnonymousDon't powerstance hammers. They do the same amount of damage, except the hits come out slower, there's more endlag, and you lose access to the super useful forward dash with her normal moveset. The rolling and jumping attacks are alright though

AnonymousThis character is all about trading blows with enemies. Slap the partial hp restoration on hit relic, get yourself a damage negation increases on hit passive, and use the skill. You become unbreakable.

AnonymousOkay!!! How am I to know I have to drop the finger near the corpse?
I figured only defeating Heolstor is required and proceed with the ending
AnonymousAside from her...asssets, it's really cool how her and scholar help each other. Alongside like recluse and guardian and duchess and wylder and stuffit's nice how this game has a lot wholesome character moments you don't really get in souls games

AnonymousPeople be simping over her because, let's be honest, she's got a phat ass, is a lot of fun to play, has a really useful toolkit, and is overall just a great character, but people SLEEP on the sexiest thing about her: her hammer moveset.
That moveset is CRACKED

Anonymousyou already know that 3 Undertaker can use 9 ultimate right ? if you have Great hollow crystal buff (refresh ultimate when last flask used) now you can use 9 more , total 18 ultimate at once.

AnonymousSucks you can’t run both her relics and will of the balancers

Anonymous
AnonymousChaining those ults with the fellow Undertakers like a Mario Bros attack combo.

Anonymous"Yo, so you know the dlc girl we're making? What if she gets extra ultimates from her teammates, but then we let it stack on other Undertakers so you can use 9 ultimates at once?"
"Nah, that's too underpowered, make it so the bosses also give her free ultimates for not dying to grab attacks."
According to my testing, you can get the "attack power is significantly increased" regardless of whether you consume your ult gauge to use her skill.
Testing showed a ~10% damage buff to ALL regularly improved sources, (I confirmed it wasn't physical weapons by checking coded sword which has 0 physical damage, and I checked it wasn't just weapons with catch flame, and I used the standard prayerful strike. All received the buff)
And the "toughness and combo attack power are increased" damage buff changes the 10% to ~20% for the remainder of the skill (again, unempowered skill included)
You can also cast her skill mid ult for the most use of the duration and it still applies the 10% to the ult.

AnonymousSo apparently you can gain ultimate from dodging grab attacks too. The journal entry confirms this, if you go to the Undertaker entry and press Y you can see it in the longer ability description.
I noticed this happening a few times, but I thought maybe it was because someone ulted and I didn't realize.
Anonymousto get to Chapter 7 from Chapter 6, you need to defeat the night aspect as Undertaker - you will get an item in your consumable inventory called the Dismembered Finger, just drop it next to the corpse you turn the primordial rune into and then proceed with the ending.

AnonymousPart of why this character is so fun is because she removes all the "jank" from the game. You have her skill which gives you stamina, higher movement speed (so you can chase the more defensive enemies/bosses), hyper-armor (immunity to stagger), and then a damage increase to your weapons and damage reduction, so she makes melee way more convenient than on other characters where you lose all your stamina from chasing the boss and then get one shot.

Anonymousso, like, the skill ceiling of this character seems pretty low no? Her ult is just an auto aim damager, most of the interest seems to be in whether you burn the ult for the upgraded character skill or not, but you can't even use the passive ability trigger ult for that? Even then, the powered up version of the skill just auto dodges for you as well? And I thought raider was a brain off character, my sweet lord.

uhh you can hold trance idk if its any different or does anything except delaying it

I updated stats level 1 to 3 using nightreign cheat table and leveling up in sparring grounds, too lazy to do rest lmao

Anonymousshould be noted her ultimate trance allows auto-dodging of ALL attacks (maybe not grabs, unsure) from my testing, not just “lethal” ones

AnonymousIdk if it was a bug, but i only play solo, and i think it let me use her passive to reuse her ult. It turned purple, and i haven't seen that happen again, just the once against a field boss...

Anonymous
AnonymousUsing her ult makes me feel like a cracked-out mosquito but I wish she'd suck me like one

AnonymousIs she an Albinauric? Her ult is taking her entire spine out and turning it into a spear on high speed.

AnonymousImportant to add to the "Confluence" passive section that dodging a darkness infused attack, aka those telegraphed grabs with the purple lightning effect, will also load the free ultimate effect

AnonymousPrayerful Strike go so well on her and Raider, it's my favourite AoW in both versions of ER

Anonymous"I can fix her" my brother in christ she will disassociate and literally eat you alive, completely valid

AnonymousA skill to tank > does not increase defence
It's like, Raider is a real gym bro, and Undertaker is there just to get a boyfriend. Fake tank/str. Still nice to have a Str/Fth character though.

Anonymouslove how the undertaker just outright says to you if you're playing as the revenant that she's interested in her (as a doll)
then again, given how the revenant is just a shell hiding something darker inside, and the undertaker very much has a hidden side to her, it could be because she sees herself in the revenant and knows they're both the same in different ways
AnonymousFromSoft knew what they were doing when they "modeled" that dip in her skirt during her...erm..."inspection" of the wall.

Anonymousfor chapter 6 you need to complete the night aspect expedition, when you kill heolstor and go to the ashen roundtable you will get an item in your consumable slot that you have to drop before interacting with the body at the end, after droping the item and interacting with the body you will get the rewards

AnonymousIf you're playing as the Guardian and you talk to her, there's a chance she'll admit that she's been collecting his feathers because of how soft and warm they are.
I won't lie, that's cute as hell
Anonymous
Anonymousyou can trade with a LOT of stuff which makes partial hp restoration on attack rediculous for this character, also activating trance heals you for some reason in case she wasn't strong enough

AnonymousShe's ass.
What I mean is that I've been staring at her ass too much for the majority of my runs, I need an undertaker to put me down six feet under.
AnonymousWhen I first saw there was "sexy strength nun" I assumed maybe her ult was some giant holy ground, or a huge spell with a hammer
Didn't exactly expect her to just fly into the enemy like a mosquito on crack. Maybe that's on me.
Anonymous
AnonymousDoesn’t she have a B in HP and a C in stamina and FP? It was shown early in the Youwy breakdown on the two DLC nightfarers. Please feel free to free to correct me if I’m wrong.

AnonymousHer hammer uses the 'Mace' moveset so it gets hyperarmour for neutral 1 hand and 2 handed R2's when welded by different characters, but she herself who uses a unique moveset doesn't get any form of hyperarmour. In fact hammers and flails don't have hyperarmour which means the balance patch that applied to those weapons in normal Elden Ring hasn't been applied here. The upside is her hammer by default is only bested by all knowing in attack range.

AnonymousDoes anyone know if there are anymore remembrance chapters for her? I got up until chapter 6. I just wanted a better remembrance relic.

Anonymous48 vigour so at level 15 she has 1040 HP. Wylder is 52 and Executor is 46 for reference.

Anonymousdoes anybody know what the "enhanced attack" on trance is supposed to be. its like a big wog type of flash but it does no damage or kockback or anything so i dont get what it does or what its for

Anonymous
AnonymousHer buffed skill, it's not "dodge a lethal attack," it's dodge ALL attacks for the remaining of skill.

AnonymousTf does she get the lords blade skin? The armor thats used by a DEX build, which suits the duchess better.
Are the devs high when making assigning these skins?
AnonymousUndertaker with Markia's hammer is probably going to go crazy

AnonymousHer ult is like "when Greatsword of Damnation meets Kimimaro from Naruto"

AnonymousAll in one! Ahh character skill. Gets Duchess dodges, cheat death from Wylder, and can be Raider at the same time. at that point give her the ability to deflect with her bones.

AnonymousOk i was gonna talk about how i was expecting her to be tailored with Colossals or at least Great Hammers like Raider but then i noticed her passive gives her up to 2 extra ULTS and her char ability is just straight up super saiyan/kaioken, increasing speed, power and all like are you kidding? Yup, top tier character 100%, 1000%, unlike her release-sibling Scholar who is the "consumable class" lmfao brotha.

Anonymous
AnonymousI really hope she will have "Sirris, of the Sunless realm" outfit!
PLEASE!
Anonymous
AnonymousIf you're not using her with golden slam AoW to revive me i will uninstall the game and send my son to brazil.

AnonymousI WANT TO SEE HER SKINSSSSSS!!! I WANT TO KNOW IF THEY CHANGE HER TRANSFORMATION APPEARANCE(Trance Skill)!!!

Anonymous
Anonymousthe trailer and the gameplay of her is already here, update the infos about her fextralife pls!

The confluence ability feels like a shoutout to an obscure mechanic from DS1. I'm pretty sure it was called resonance. When someone used an incantation (they were called miracles in that game) it could cause a glowing circle to show up on the ground in other people's games, and if someone cast that same miracle in that same spot it would get boosted strength. It was super niche and never came back for any other game, so I don't know if that's what they were going for, but I wouldn't be surprised since Nightreign is so full of random references to other souls games.
