Elden Ring Nightreign Wylder Key Features
- Weapon Preference: Greatswords
- Wylder is an all-rounder hero, that can fulfill different roles but doesn't specialize as much as other Nightfarers
- Can be a good starting Nightfarer for newcomers as it is balanced all-around.
- Wylder is a knight proficient in a wide range of melee weapons, can throw grappling hooks to pull enemies or swiftly close distances. You can also launch explosive iron spikes that deal a powerful blow to any enemy.
Sixth Sense Passive Ability
- If the Wylder would take lethal damage, he immediately dodges it.
- Dodging an attack this way will not protect the Wylder from any ailment buildup associated with that attack.
- This effect only triggers once, but can be replenished by approaching a Site of Grace or or after respawning from death. Revival from near-death by a teammate will not replenish it.
- is not triggered during grab attacks or from status ailment damage, these damage sources will still be lethal
Claw Shot Character Skill
- Launch a grappling claw to rope foes in or move swiftly by retracting.
- Smaller enemies will be pulled towards the Wylder.
- If used on larger enemies, the Wylder will drag himself towards them.
- Cooldown time for this skill is quick, exactly 8 seconds, and it is used by pressing Triangle + L2. You can hold Triangle + L2 to aim where you want to fire it as well.
- Can be used on the ground to cover great distances quickly. Jump near the end of the skill animation to make a leap that covers more ground.
Onslaught Stake Ultimate Art
- Powerful single attack that launches a iron stake with a great explosion.
- Can be charged. The Wylder is invulnerable during the wind-up animation.
- If uncharged, the explosion will fling the Wylder back, but also retain a small amount of Ultimate Art Gauge.
- If fully charged, the explosion is more powerful, inflicts more stance damage, doesn't fling the Wylder back, and completely drains the Ultimate Art Gauge.

Wylder Best Relics Guide for Nightreign
Recommended Relics for Wylder
As Wylder has a higher HP pool and Stamina, some unique Relics you should be looking for are Night of the Beast, Old Pocketwatch, Slate Whetstone, and The Wylder's Earring. Click here to see a full build guide for Wylder.
The Night of the Beast Relic is a green relic that can be obtained upon defeating the Tricephalos Night Lord for the first time. This allows Wylder to recover his stamina upon each successful attack, which allows for a sustained string of attacks. Enchanting the weapon with fire also gives the Wylder an advantage against enemies weak to fire.
The Old Pocketwatch Relic is a green relic that is guaranteed to drop upon defeating Tricephalos for the first time (or found randomly from any failed run). If not successful, you may still be able to obtain this Relic as a random drop. This Relic helps Wylder restore FP with successive attacks, which is great for use with faster weapons like Straight Swords or Curved Swords, and allows the Wylder continued use of weapon skills in the middle of combat. The Old Pocketwatch also grants +3 in Dexterity, which can be beneficial for most weapons that can be found with a Dex scaling.
The Slate Whetstone Relic is a red relic that can only be obtained upon completing the Wylder's first Remembrance Quest. Check the walkthrough below for the in-depth guide. This relic grants Wylder follow-up attacks with a Greatsword after using his Claw Shot skill, enchanting the Wylder's greatsword with fire damage for 20 seconds, letting you exploit fire weaknesses without needing to worry about getting fire-infused weaponry. The follow-up attack also costs no stamina or FP, but be wary of getting caught on enemy attacks in the process. Additionally, you can gain an increase on Physical Attack damage from this relic's second effect.
The Silver Tear Relic is a red relic that can be obtained upon completing Wylder's third Rememberance Quest. This gives a surge to your Ultimate Art Gauge whenever you cheat death with his passive ability, and provides a passive increase to the speed that your Ultimate Art Gauge fills. It is a great relic for those looking to make the most of his Ultimate Art. The Arcane increase, however, is difficult for the Wylder to capitalize on, and the surge to your Art Gauge provided by this relic is quite situational given how infrequently you get to replenish the use of Sixth Sense.
The Wylder's Earring is a red relic that can be obtained after viewing the Wylder's unique ending, accessed by defeating Heolstor the Nightlord with the Silver Tear equipped. The first relic effect allows him to spread fire upon activating his Ultimate Art, creating a lingering flaming area for supplementary damage after using the Ultimate Art. The second relic effect provides you with an additional skill use, this makes Wylder more mobile and allows him to get in and out of battle with ease. Lastly, the third skill recovers Stamina upon each successful attack, allowing for longer sustained strings of attacks before you have to stop to recover, and this also lends into relieving the stamina costs of powerstanced greatsword play styles.
The Dark Night of the Champion is a yellow relic that can be bought from the Collector Signboard after defeating the Everdark Sovereign Darkdrift Knight. The first effect gives +10 to Stamina (equivalent to 5 Endurance) to allow for longer strings of attacks. The second effect gives +10% elemental damage when using an elemental-infused weapon or a weapon buff that grants elemental damage, which is a handy but largely insignificant damage bonus.
The third effect is the most valuable on this relic, granting 5% Ultimate Art Gauge for every enemy you kill, meaning that you can easily get a lot of Art Gauge back from an uncharged Onslaught Stake wiping out a group of enemies, and ensuring you can deploy the Ultimate Art at nearly every point of interest you get, earning more Runes for the team.
Next, are the relic effects that you want to look out for. Character Skill Cooldown Reduction allows you to use Claw Shot more often, giving plenty of mobility to get out of danger or close the gap on enemies. Improved Greatsword Attack Power is beneficial for play styles that are focused on greatswords and the Claw Shot follow-up. Fire Attack Power Up improves the damage done by your Ultimate Art and Claw Shot follow-up attacks as well.
Improved Stance-Breaking also gives you greater odds of knocking down enemies in combat, and can combine fantastically with the massive Stance Damage done by the Ultimate Art; whether you take Two-Handing or Wielding Two Armaments depends on your play style. Other Relic effects that increase Vigor, Poise, Strength, or Dexterity, increasing or recovering Stamina and HP also help to increase and ensure your survivability and overall damage output.

Elden Ring Nightreign Wylder Notes & Tips
- Voice Actor: Rory Alexander
- An even spread between Strength and Dexterity allows the Wylder to perform well with almost any weapon, not just greatswords. While wielding Colossal Swords, the Wylder can even match the Raider in damage with the same weapon.
- For enemies that are notoriously hard to hit in melee, keep a bow handy. While you may not be as proficient with it as an Ironeye, you will still be able to contribute.
- Dormant Powers from forts and great churches have a 65% chance to contain an uncommon class weapon. Dormant powers from encampments and ruins have a 35% chance to contain an uncommon class weapon. Wylder's class weapons consist of greatswords.
Nightreign Wylder Remembrance Quest Walkthrough
How to unlock and start Remembrance Quests in Nightreign
In Nightreign, players can randomly find journal entries related to the corresponding Nightfarer that they are using in an Expedition, which are key components to starting Remembrance Quests. These quests provide a backstory to the eight Nightfarers in the game, with players starting a Remembrance through the Roundtable Hold. When completed, these Remembrances will give rewards to players, such as Relics and Garbs (Skins).
When players are stuck in a part of a Remembrance Quest, or if a journal entry is missing, they may start an Expedition with the Nightfarer that they want to progress the quest. Then, defeat the Nightlord and the players will be able to do the next step of the quest. For more information about Remembrance Quests, players may visit this page.
Wylder Remembrance: Part 1
Part 1, Wylder Remembrance Objectives:
- Talk to Iron Menial.
- Start Expedition and collect the Slate Whetstone
- Talk to Iron Menial
- Collect the earrings and hold them up to the light
- Find Duchess and give her the earrings.
NOTE: Requires the player to start an expedition as Wylder to unlock the journal entries that involve reliving a remembrance for Wylder. In some cases, defeating a Night Boss on the first day or even completing the expedition by defeating the Night Lord can also unlock the remembrance quest in the Journal.
As the Wylder, head to the "Journal" area at the Roundtable Hold and select Chapter 3 of the Wylder's Journal to start reliving his Remembrace. Head to the armory room to find the Iron Menial and speak to him. When he asks Wylder to help procure a whetstone, choose the dialogue option "Understood" to help him. After which, proceed to the Expeditions table and start an expedition in Limveld. Once in Limveld, open the map to find the orange marker pinned, which indicates the area you'll need to explore. This will lead you to a cave entrance that leads into a crystal tunnel where you'll eventually encounter a mini-boss, the Tunnel Crystalian. Defeat it and collect the Slate Whetstone (Key Item) from the cluster of stones.
Fully complete the expedition or die and fail to return to the Roundtable Hold. With the item you've acquired, return to the armory room where the Iron Menial is and give him the Slate Whetstone. He'll then place three items, (1) on the table in front of him, (2) on the small table that's on the right side of the Iron Menial, and (3) on a small ladder that's on the left-hand side of the Iron Menial. Pick up the item on the table in front of the Iron Menial to acquire x1 Delicate Burning Scene, check the small table on the right side of the Iron Menial to take the Mended Earring, and pick the item on the small ladder to obtain another Delicate Burning Scene relic.
Upon collecting all three items, especially the Mended Earring, open the Roundtable Hold map to find a new exclamation mark, go to the room on the left just next to the armory, and walk to the end of the room towards the ray of light. Interact with it to "Hold up both earrings." and then find the Duchess to give the Mended Earring; doing this concludes the first part of the Wylder's Remembrance Quest. Interact with the nearby remembrance gateway or travel to the Journal to conclude the second part of the Wylder's Remembrance. Completing this section of the Wylder's Remembrance quest updates the Wylder's Journal and rewards the player with the Slate Whetstone relic
Wylder Remembrance: Part 2
Part 2, Wylder Remembrance Objectives:
- Read the three short passages.
- Talk to Iron Menial.
- Examine the tombs.
As the Wylder, head to the "Journal" area at the Roundtable Hold and select Chapter 5 of the Wylder's Journal to continue reliving his Remembrace. For the second part of Wylder's Remembrance Quest, the first objective is to interact with three objects in the Roundtable Hold.
- The first object you need to examine is the pile of books in the room where you can find the Small Jar Bazaar. Examining it will reveal a short passage.
- In the same room, by the pile of books, look to the right and you'll see a small bookshelf tucked in the corner. Examine it to read a short passage on the priestess.
- The third object is yet another pile of books, which is close to the Small Jar Bazaar. Examine it to read the passage on the underground crypt.
Once you've read all three passages, in the same room, you'll see a doorway on the right side, go through it, head down the steps, turn left, go through another door that just unlocked, and down the steps to find the crypt. Inside the crypt, you'll find the Iron Menial, speak to him, and then interact with the tombs that are marked with a glowing dot. Upon examining the three tombs, find the Duchess who is by the shore, speak to her, and choose the dialogue option "Are you trapped here?"; this concludes the second part of Wylder's Remembrance Quest. Interact with the nearby remembrance gateway or travel to the Journal to conclude the second part of the Wylder's Remembrance. Completing this section of the Wylder's Remembrance quest updates the Wylder's Journal and rewards the player with the Wylder's Chalice.
Wylder Remembrance: Part 3
Part 3, Wylder Remembrance Objectives:
- Start an expedition run as Wylder to unlock Chapter 7 of Wylder's Journal.
- Continue reliving Wylder's Remembrance Quest.
- Read the note on the table in the armory room and take the Virtuous Thief's Key.
- Open the chest in the Underground Crypt to acquire the Torn-Out Paper Scrap.
- Speak to the Iron Menial.
- Speak to Recluse >>> Speak to Iron Menial
- Start an expedition that involves the Noklateo, the Shrouded City, Shifting Earth.
- Find a Silver Tear.
- Head to Noklateo.
- Defeat the Mimic Troll.
As the Wylder, head to the "Journal" area at the Roundtable Hold and select Chapter 7 of the Wylder's Journal to continue reliving his Remembrace. Again, take note that succeeding chapters that involve a remembrance quest can be unlocked if you do an expedition as the specific nightfarer. For this case, you need to participate in an expedition as Wylder. Upon starting, you'll find yourself in the armory room. Approach the table and read the note to obtain the Virtuous Thief's Key. Proceed to the path that goes down into the underground crypt, just by the end of the doorway at the end of the stairs, look to the left side to find a small chest tucked by the corner. With the key in hand, open the chest to obtain a Torn-Out Paper Scrap.
Head to the expeditions room of the Roundtable Hold to find and speak to the Iron Menial, then head to the library/study room to find Recluse, and speak to her about taking the Nightlord's power. Go back once again to the Iron Menial to learn about the whereabouts of the silver tear. Now you need to start an expedition in Limveld where a shifting earth event is active, specifically the shifting earth, Noklateo, the Shrouded City. While in the shrouded city, head to the marked objective that is pinned on the map, where you'll encounter a mini-boss, the Mimic Troll.
Defeat the Mimic Troll and investigate the glowing coffin to collect the Silver Tear. Now, back at the Roundtable Hold, look for the Iron Menial in the armory room and simply speak to him to conclude the last part of Wylder's Remembrance Quest. Interact with the nearby remembrance gateway or travel to the Journal to conclude the final part of the Wylder's Remembrance. Completing this section of the Wylder's Remembrance quest updates the Wylder's Journal and rewards the player with the following: a new outfit for Wylder, the Remembrance (Wylder) outfit, and the Silver Tear relic.
The final unmentioned objective is to defeat Heolstor the Nightlord as Wylder while you have the Silver Tear relic equipped. If Heolstor is unavailable, you must defeat four different Nightlords (as any character) to unlock him. After Heolstor's defeat, you are placed on the shores outside the Roundtable facing the Heolstor's corpse. Walk up to the defeated Nightlord and choose the option to have Wylder use the Silver Tear to turn himself into the next Nightlord. After the credits, you will earn The Wylder's Earring in addition to the usual run rewards, and the Wylder's Journal will update one final time.
Elden Ring Nightreign Wylder Journal
Wylder Journal: Chapter 1
The Wylder departed from his faraway home, braving the sea of fog to reach Limveld.
A Nightfarer's forays wither the soul and cloud recollection, causing one night to bleed into the next. But of one thing he remained certain.
That he must track down the Nightlord, and bury it. There was no choice.
He repeated the words to himself, all the while clenching a precious object in his hand. A solitary earring, its counterpart long lost.
Wylder Journal: Chapter 2
In a corner of the Roundtable Hold, light shines in through the ceiling to a dimly-lit room.
There stood the Wylder, holding the solitary earring up to the light, casting a pattern on the wall that he could not comprehend.
The Wylder was sure that it was some word, or perhaps a phrase, but he could not recall it.
Where had he misplaced the earring? If he only had the its counterpart, surely the meaning could be divined.
Wylder Journal: Chapter 3
He dreamt of his home.
Two horses galloping across Windwail Knoll. They were a healthy pair of twins, which was rare. To the Wylder, and to ( ) , the horses were special.
Upon a hill they ran abreast. He looked at her, hair dancing in the wind, and saw the earring on her left ear. But he could not recall a face.
"My lord Wylder, how are you today?"
The voice of the Iron Menial awakened him. Time for another errand, no doubt.
Wylder Journal: Chapter 4
Clutching the now solitary earring, the Wylder drifted off into sleep.
The sun was setting on Windwail Knoll, and as if in deference to its name, a gale howled.
The dreaded winter was approaching. By the time of the first frost, he knew that his sister would be far along her journey. The Wylder fell silent, and ( ), flashing her signature smile, flicked her earring with her finger.
"Good bye for now, dear brother. Once we're done, we'll meet again."
He could not remember her name, but he always remembered these parting words.
Wylder Journal: Chapter 5
The Wylder continued to fight, never mentioning his younger sister. There was no way forward except to soldier through the war at hand.
He returned to the Roundtable Hold that day to discover a note from the Iron Menial.
"I've considered what might explain your singular obsession with that earring.
Then it came to me. The two of you...possess a striking likeness. So much so that I simply cannot deny it.
There is something that you must know. Please check the study."
Wylder Journal: Chapter 6
The Wylder had the same dream time and time again.
A long night persists, driving his clansfolk to madness. After a horrific battle, all that remains upon Windwail Knoll is a sea of gravestones. After the deaths of cousin Farhad, Little Shirin, and his own father, the clan's chieftain, the Wylder discovers that only he remains.
And now, only he can avenge his clan. Only he can bring an end to the Night. But even if he can...
"Once we're done, it will be goodbye."
Even if the Night were extinguished, the twin horses will never gallop aside one another again.
Wylder Journal: Chapter 7
Holding his greatsword, the Wylder drifted off to sleep.
Out of nowhere, he heard the rustle of cloth, then the clink of something being placed on the table.
The Wylder awoke, and slowly sat up.
Wylder Journal: Chapter 8
The Silver Tear he grasped gently throbbed. The Wylder discovered a familiar brooch by his belongings.
In his tribe, when one warrior gave such a gift to another, it was a promise to ever fight side-by-side, whether separated by land or sea. Did his young sister remember such customs?
He pinned the brooch to his coat, as was their practice, and gently placed his hand upon it.
"Once we're done, it'll be goodbye."
He knew the twin horses would never run free again, as once they did, side by side. But perhaps just one could gallop onward.
Wylder Journal: Chapter 9
After a time, a new Nightlord came to be.
The Roundtable Hold, spared from annihilation, would be formed anew. In preparation for a new Night.
But would it be enough to free the Priestess? He would never know.
The Nightlord lumbered on. Indifferent to whether or not the twin horses would ever ride again.
AnonymousIt seems i've missed one crucial moment in his rememberance quest - why did this guy chose to become Heolstor? He just wanted to be cool three-sword wielding hunchback dude or what

AnonymousIs there some secret buff that Wylder's Earring gives called "Fighter's Resolve"?
I got hit a few times in quick succession in the sparring grounds and I automatically got a damage boost with that name in my buff info screen. My relics are Wylder's Earring, a relic that gives the unique great sword followup on wylder + ultimate on crits and kills. And a third relic with post damage healing, stamina back on hits and Gravitas on starter weapon, so I absolutely wasn't getting a damage boost from the relic effect that increases your damage upon taking damage.
Can ayone else confirm this being a thing on wylder?
Anonymousif you talk to him after beating everdark heolstor he says "that was pretty wild, but i've seen Wylder"

AnonymousHonestly my favorite skin for Wylder IS Wylder
Base wylder is just a fantastic design
I won't lie I dislike the very small changes on most remembrance skins, and this is no difference
but I really like the meaning behind this one
Anonymous
AnonymousEasily my favourite class, odd he didn't get an elite knight set though

Anonymous
AnonymousThe fact that he doesn't get the Claymore moveset as his default still feels like a crime.

Anonymoushes honestly so cute id pay the 40 dollars just for him if i knew how to play

Anonymous
Anonymous
AnonymousWylder doesn't wear armor - he endures it. Tarnished silver, deep blue cloth and a greatsword scarred by survival rather than glory. No face, no excess - only weght, silence and presence.
This isn't fashion.
This is what remains.
Any other Dawn Wylder skins out there? I'm starting to get lonely. I'll keep searching for you though!

AnonymousIf you drop the Small Shield at any point, you are a coward and a disgrace to all Wylder players.

AnonymousMy friend: "it's so stupid i can't dodge status procs like bleed or madness"
Ah yes, let me dodge my OWN F*CKING ARTERIES EXPLODING
Anonymous
AnonymousI have been playing since release, i remember on the very first day i swapped from Wylder to Ironeye immediately as the other classes became available, to this day i am still an Ironeye main, tried running Wylder for a bit today and i gotta say, no regrets whatsoever, in fact thank GOD i swapped to Ironeye as soon as i did, no slander intended just a bit of my history with this game.

Anonymous
Anonymousvery fun but a lot of the very strong weapons are fp demanding unless you get good fp-related efficiency drops, would be nice to see an increase to 120 or maybe even 140. early on is super miserable with the lack of fp on weapons, you can use a whopping 3 unsheathes before you're out

AnonymousThis guy is so fun with his parries, absolutely demolishes banished knights/crucibles, etc.

AnonymousIve seen some Wylders not using their purple rarity weapon over their common starting greatsword. You guys can use anything; Wylder is a quality-type character, not a greatsword demon. (partially)

AnonymousReinstated: Easily the most fun character (I'm extremely biased)
Reason: Removed despite being on-topic/accurate; restoring for visibility.
AnonymousThe masculine urge to take this guy and make out of him every build he is not suited for (Magic Wylder my beloved)

Anonymous
Anonymous
Anonymous
Anonymousmy take is i like running the relic that gives him faith and int so i can be a funny little magic caster with decent health :>

Anonymous
Anonymous
AnonymousOk now We fk up.
the relic that make attack after hook now use stamina...
Anonymous
AnonymousDon't use the follow-up fire attack on greatswords relic. You will have so much more fun if you pick up any weapon you like along the way instead of sticking with just greatswords. I love two handed halberds, curved swords, greataxes, hammers, really anything will work great for this guy.

AnonymousIt deeply disturbs me when a guy named "booty warrior" in the artorias skin decides to run dual greatswords with an unupgraded wylder's greatsword that has nothing special on it, when marika's hammer is rotting in his inventory on the boss that's weak to holy

AnonymousJust realized something. The reason his greatsword-only follow-up with that relic bonus doesn't cost any stamina is because he's not actually swinging the weapon. He's actually using the momentum from his grapplign hook reeling itself in to swing himself around. That's why he lands so heavily. He doesn't have that much control over himself since he's purely relying on momentum to do the work for him

AnonymousTip: if you come across a crystallian early game, two hand your shield and use charged heavies. Takes them down way faster than your greatsword since the shield does strike damage.

Anonymous
AnonymousGreat class for people who's favourite ice cream flavour is vanilla

AnonymousHe has a super unique backstep attack where he jumps. Not sure if claw talisman applies here, but just by looking at his attack animations, Fromsoft really nailed Wylder's fighting style. Looking at the description of his greatsword, you really get the sense that Wylder isn't just a fighter, he's a survivor. All of his attacks have this sort of desperation/rage behind them, where he's trained enough with the greatsword to know how to wield it properly, but has enough force and emotion behind it to hint at you can tell he doesn't really care how it's done, so long as whatever he's attacking dies.
"Strike, smash, gouge. Any foe is game, as long as a weapon is handy," indeed.

AnonymousI think it's kind of interesting how Fromsoft switched the default marketing guy from longsword + medium shield to greatsword + small/parry shield in this and Elden Ring. Goes to show how much more aggressive their games have gotten over the years.

Anonymoussince he has priority drop in greatswords that also mean he has higher chance than other to get Marais greatsword the instance win weapon.
'Sheer Luck' I guest
AnonymousHe has a grappling hook so you don't have to surge sprint after every nightlord every 5s. And he has a buckler which turns BBH into BBall. If y'all struggle with him even then, just quit the game lmao

AnonymousI love when Wylder players at full health get hit by a boss literally once and it triggers their auto revive

AnonymousY’all do realise he starts with a parry shield which can make even difficult bosses like BBH and Heolstor a cakewalk? Miyazaki forbid you actually have to have any semblance of skill to use this character, which is something most Raider mains lack, leading to extreme amounts of cope because their jump attack spam strategy doesn’t cheese the game.

Anonymouswylder and raider on the same team is unstoppable especially duos

AnonymousAll these comments arguing about whether to use the cheesy bonk hammers guy or the cheesy bhf qualitard kevin guy need to put aside their differences and realize the true correct way to play is by using the pkcs you filthy cazuls.

AnonymousThe three types of wylder mains:
1: will spam ping if you don't follow him to the mines (all 3 of you already have purple weapons)
2: will go off on their own and die repeatedly, the leave the match like your fault
3: will keep legendaries for themselves (epecially if their teammate specializes in the weapon type)

Anonymousi seriously wished wylder had a ds3 abyss watchers skin
on a kinda related note, i think the abyss watchers could be a good night boss (obviously with some tweaks)
Nobody cares if raider is better play wylder if you want to lmfao

AnonymousWhy are there more comments about raider than wylder? And whats reddit got yo do with this?

Anonymous
AnonymousWhy are people saying the Wylder is mid? Just because the Raider is more powerful doesn't make him a bad character.

Anonymous
Anonymous
AnonymousOne can easily determine that person has skill issue by them saying that he is worse than Raider. What's better, having an all-around good stat spread, high mobility, insta stance break ult and not changing movesets of 4 or so weapon classes to same slow аss swings... or being more tanky? Choosing second option also means that a bunch of Internet weirdos probably won't associate you with stereotypical redditors, but that's just bonus with no practical usage.

AnonymousYou guys down here fighting but can we all agree that Wylder and duchess have the saddest lore of the characters? Let us band together as the michaelzaki enjoyers we are under one common understanding.

AnonymousHow to make an Int build for Wylder? (Want a challenge run for solo play)

AnonymousI've genuinely never heard anyone say Raider is better than Wylder outside this website.

AnonymousI prefer Wylder over Raider because Wylder has little wings on his helmet :)

AnonymousIt's so funny finding raider players still trying to ghastlight themselves into believing raider is better than wylder. Y'all come here without any provocation it's so funny wylder lives rent free in your heads lmao

Anonymous
Anonymouswhat color do yall think his pubic hair is and how much does he have? I'm drawing a wylder x raider r34 and need this info

Anonymousadd elite knight and firelink set
if possible add fluted and dark silver set
AnonymousSuper fun to play as with the greatsword follow-up relic and other stuff

Anonymous
Get a shield + bow. He works good with great shields.
Get a light weapon to heal. Or a bow. Trust man 2 ppl with a bow can rez a e bar easy peasy
Anonymous
AnonymousWylder is the master of versatility. Being a jack-of-all-trade is typically considered a bad thing when you can crafted the most optimal build in a regular Soulborne or RPG game. This is not the case in a roguelike Game like Nightreign. You are forced to use the best tools you can scavenge in a run and optimal build requires luck. It's good that the character can perform adequately with majority of weapons in this game and won't easily get messed up by bad RNG. Wylder himself still has a selection of weapons optimal to him, so you can still be really overpowered like other specialists when the star aligns.

Anonymouswtf is wrong with the triggers on the ending. I've done everything there is to do and beat heolstor with the tear equipped and the final option only includes "offer night rune".

Why this woman dressied as a british noble is a sister of a guy in medieval armor. They belong to diferent worlds

AnonymousVersatility is the key of this class. Powerstance greatsword ? Sorry mate i will use whatever i found, from colossal to curved sword (statff/seal excluded)

AnonymousClaw Shot to let you spiderman your way towards any boss that runs away for no stamina cost, and a free stance break that comes with so many i-frames that it's become i-seconds? You didn't beat the game.

Useless combo I discovered : Grapple, Jump on, Kick Back, Whip around and Ult, that'll propell you further

AnonymousPlaying any other character makes me wanna play Wylder instead.

AnonymousYou can use your grapple in the air with this dude. I randomly discovered that and now I waste way too much time trying to be Spider Man instead of just running around.

AnonymousGive his greatsword moveset the banished knight r1s / claymore r2s and my life is yours fromsoft!!!

AnonymousThe nick name "midler" doesn't even make sense since you are swapping the d and the l around. Midler makes no sense it should be milder (as in "mild") if you gonna hate on a character for no reason at least make the nick names make sense

AnonymousEhem guys learn to have fun after you managed to get a life and stop basement dwelling on these characters raider wylder best team have a shower if you still cant get over it

AnonymousThis class is fun but I think it could be better . For some reason so many pros play this class pls tell me why did I miss some thing about this class thats like OP ?

AnonymousThe balanced character is worse at using heavy weapons than the strength character, and worse at using light weapons than the dex character? This is mindblowing!1! It’s almost as if that was the whole point of being a jack of all trades!?

AnonymousGenuine question: Is Wylder easy? I know he's flexible and has great melee versatility, but he also has the buckler parry from the start. Parrying is difficult but rewarding. His grapple allows for some crazy movement and guard break combos as well. What do you think?

Anonymous
Anonymous
AnonymousTesting on the sparring grounds, wylder does better than raider with greatbows. Unfortunately, the more strength and less dex a character has, the better it is.

Anonymousnpc class, go find a stat you like instead of following the meta.

Anonymousgrappling hook is great for people who need to get somewhere but have 0 attention span to run there.

Anonymoushas anyone else had a bug where using some weapons one handed with wylder gets twice the attack rating as two handing?

Anonymous
AnonymousAnyone who finds this character weak has unironically never felt the joy of parrying a fool with a shield. Not only can you parry some of the Nightlords INCLUDING the final boss, unlike Executor you give your team invaluable breathing room with the stun it brings, which by the way is a completely separate stagger meter, so if you time it right you can stagger the boss shortly after a parry stagger or vice versa.
Some of you might be thinking "but the buckler parry is harder to use than executor/sekiro parry, it's not worth using!" literal skill issue, stop spamming LB and actually watch the enemy's weapon movements.
"B-b-but some enemies are unparryable with the shield!" That may be true, but I will always bask in my melee superiority when I bring a bell bearing hunter to his knees with what is arguably the most satisfying dopamine hit in the game, while goobers stop their panic rolling to watch in awe as I force the boss to fight to MY rhythm with pure, unadulterated skill. Also I can just swap my shield out to dual wield lmao
Tl;dr learn to parry, you filthy casuals :^)
Also if you finish his rememberance quest the final relic reward is disgustingly powerful.
AnonymousEven more reliable than Ironeye for solo. Better mobility, better hp, better damage, much more flexible with weapon choice (even if you stick to greatswords only, since there are like 20 of them and some are really amazing), can actually make great use of on-hit effects and post-damage recovery, and gets WAY, WAY more stance breaks, which is absolutely huge (basically guaranteed to get 2-3 stance breaks against nightlords). Ironeye can ignore a good 97% of the game with his mark skill and if things go your way is still the "easiest" character, but there are still a few really annoying bosses that will punish him for a single arrow fired at the wrong time. Meanwhile Wylder simply does not care about what you're fighting, every fight happens on your terms since you want to be in their face anyway, and the claw guarantees you'll be in their face all the time no matter how much they move around.

AnonymousDon't use your ult to rez teammates man. Even at full charge, it barely does more than one pip. Just use your sword and save the Rubiconian Handshake for the boss instead

Anonymous

Surprisingly strong choice considering he is the default starting class. He has the classic Dark Souls "greatsword and shield" loadout, and since everything has 100% physical block in this game that is even better than it normally would be. He even has a parry in his back pocket for times when that matters (you can trivialize BBH if your parry game is on point). The "you don't die once" passive just keeps getting better as you get better at the game. It lets you make one more mistake, and when you don't make many to begin with it starts getting very good. Really has quite a high skill ceiling which you would not necessarily expect for the starting character. Nothing to complain about here.
