Elden Ring Nightreign Ironeye Key Features

  • Weapon Preference: Bows
  • Ironeye is not available in the Network Test.
  • Described as the dedicated sniper or archer Nightfarer class in Nightfarer.
  • In an interview preview, Game Director Junya Ishizaki teased that this class can create a rock pillar to climb and snipe arrows (in trailer horned warrior create rock pillar and then jump from it)
  • The official name of this Nightfarer was revealed in Bandai Namco's article on preorders and available versions of the game. See image below for reference. You can see the name of this Nightfarer on one of the Nightfarer Cards.
  • Ironeye is an archer who never misses a foe's weakness, controls enemies from a distance. His Marking skill, injures and pressures the enemy, greatly disrupting their poise and creating openings to exploit. His art Single Shot fires a supersonic arrow that pierces through every enemy and obstacle, ensuring no escape.

Eagle Eye Passive Ability

  • A keenly observant eye discovers more items to obtain from foes.
  • The effect of this ability is shared across the Ironeye's other allies.
  • Eagle Eye is always active, regardless of how far away your other teammates are.

Marking Character Skill

  • Cut foe with dagger, creating temporary weak point.
  • Employs a dash attack with 17 i-frames that hits any enemy that it passes through.
  • Once the enemy is hit, a red X will appear on its body. This illustrates that a weak spot has been created. The enemy will take 10% additional damage from all sources.
  • Marking can only create one weak point per enemy, which appears at a fixed location, regardless of where you hit the enemy.
  • Although Ironeye’s Marking skill only puts an “X” over one lock-on point when used against larger enemies, the effect is present no matter where you strike. Take advantage of this when dealing with enemies like dragons, where attacks to the head have a greater chance to stagger the beast.
  • Damaging or hitting the weak point created by the Ironeye can extend its duration. Once it is destroyed, it will deal burst damage and poise damage.

Single Shot Ultimate Art

  • Fire powerful arrow that surpasses sound and ignores defense.
  • Upon using this skill, Ironeye readies his bow and shoots a fast arrow at his target. If the arrow hits the target, it releases a massive shockwave that deals damage in a large area, which can also knock down most small or medium-sized enemies.
  • The arrow that is shot with this skill will fly straight through any number of enemies and any type of terrain. So this skill is best used against multiple enemies or multiple bosses that are close to each other.
  • Hold the Ultimate Art button combination to charge the skill. While charging, you can freely aim the attack, but the attack does not gain additional power from being charged. You also have i-frames during either the wind-up animation or while charging.

Ironeye Best Relics Guide for Nightreign

Recommended Relic Effects for Ironeye

  • +1 Additional Character Skill Use
  • Character Skill Cooldown Reduction
  • Changes compatible armament's skill to Rain of Arrows at start of expedition
  • Improved Initial Standard Attack
  • Improved Bow Attack Power
  • + Endurance
  • + Vigor
  • + Dexterity

Ironeye primarily uses a bow in combat, but with his high scaling in Dexterity, he can be open to wielding other weapons that scale with DEX. Some Relics you should look out for are Cracked Sealing Wax, Edge of Order, Night of the Wise, Night of the Beast, Night of the Baron, Night of the Lord, and Dark Night of the Champion. Click here to see a full build guide for Ironeye.

The Cracked Sealing Wax Relic is a yellow relic obtainable upon completing Ironeye's first remembrance quest. The full walkthrough for the Ironeye remembrance quest is below.

This relic has a character-specific effect that extends the duration of Marking's weak point, letting you and your team pile on more damage on a tough enemy. The second effect allows you to gain runes once you perform a critical hit, but at 300 Runes per crit, it's a very insignificant bonus.

The Edge of Order Relic is a yellow relic that can be obtained upon completing Ironeye's second remembrance quest. The first effect gives a boost to thrusting counterattacks after performing Single Shot, which has a lot of uptime as Ironeye can get a lot of stray shots in while an enemy is performing an attack.

The second attack grants Holy Damage to your starting armament, which can be useful against some enemies and bosses that are weak to Holy. The third effect increases your attack power with Bows for a general damage boost.

The Night of the Wise Relic is a yellow relic that can be obtained upon defeating the Sentient Pest Night Lord for the first time. The first effect increases your FP, which can be useful if you obtain a weapon with a weapon skill you wish to use. The second effect applies Poison on your starting weapon, dealing damage over time to enemies and stacking poison damage.

Finally, the last effect increases your attack power when poison or rot is inflicted within your vicinity, giving you an attack buff once your arrows finish their infliction, but you will need to be within close range to reliably trigger this buff effect.

The Night of the Beast Relic is a green relic that can be obtained upon defeating the Tricephalos Night Lord for the first time. The first effect increases the amount of stamina recovered upon performing a successful attack, which benefits Ironeye as he does use up stamina each time he shoots an arrow.

The second effect applies fire to your starting armament, dealing damage over time to enemies, inflicting Fire Damage, which lets you exploit certain boss weaknesses without needing to rely on the luck of the draw.

The Night of the Baron Relic is a blue relic that can be obtained upon defeating the Gaping Jaw Night Lord for the first time. The first effect increases the damage done by critical hits, and can prove fruitful if you get a stance-break by destroying the Marking weak point.

After scoring a critical, you gain a large boost to your Art Gauge and a buff to your Stamina recovery, letting you line up Single Shot more often and reducing the recovery time between attacks.

The Night of the Lord Relic is a blue relic that can be obtained upon defeating Night Aspect Night Lord for the first time. This relic buffs any play style that focuses on switching weapons in the midst of combat, which can be beneficial for players that have one bow for dealing ailments and another for pure damage.

Upon switching weapons, the new weapon gains a random elemental infusion for 10 seconds, a 10% damage bonus for 10 seconds, and the elemental infusion also gains a 10% bonus to elemental damage. Altogether, it makes for a potent increase to damage with a chance to further exploit an enemy's elemental weakness, and the Ironeye, usually safe from immediate harm, has the capacity to weave a quick-switch in between attacks.

The Dark Night of the Champion is a yellow relic that can be purchased from the Collector Signboard after defeating the Everdark Sovereign version of the Darkdrift Knight for the first time. This relic gives a large increase to maximum stamina - 5 Endurance worth - to allow for longer strings of attacks while allowing room to dodge out of danger.

The third effect also gives Ultimate Art charge per kill, which works wonders alongside the room-clearing potential of Single Shot. The second effect is the least significant, only giving +10% elemental damage to elementally-infused attacks, which may not even be visible given the low base power of each arrow you shoot.

This Relic can be combined alongside the Night of the Lord to further enhance the quick-switching play style, though this also leaves little room for other desirable relic effects in your collection.

As for the Relic Effects, relics that boost the frequency of your character skill let you maintain Marking uptime and reposition in times of need. Relics that change the starting weapon skill to rapid-hitting skills like Rain of Arrows provide a much better alternative to the slow Mighty Shot, especially if combined with relics that let your weapon apply a status ailment.

Improved Bow Attack Power gives an overall boost to the Ironeye's skill set, and more patient play styles get more uptime from the Improved Initial Standard Attack. Other effects include an increase in Endurance, Vigor, and Dexterity to further increase your survivability and attack power.

Best Relics With Fixed Effects for Ironeye in Elden Ring Nightreign

Grand Luminous Scene can be purchased from the Small Jar Bazaar at the Roundtable Hold for murk icon nightreign wiki guide 1000.  This Relic Effect has a fixed effect, which will provide the following:

  • [Ironeye] Extends duration of weak point
  • Endurance +2
  • Dexterity +2

This is an alternative to the Cracked Sealing Wax, providing the same extension of the weak point duration but instead providing bonuses to Dexterity and Endurance that are more useful all-around.

Grand Burning Scene can be purchased at the Collector Signboard in the Roundtable Hold for 3 sovereign sigil icon nightreign wiki guide. This Relic Effect has a fixed effect, which will provide the following:

  • [Ironeye] Art Charge Activation Adds Poison Effect
  • Attack power up when facing poison-afflicted enemy
  • Ultimate Art Gauge +3

This is a self-contained Art-augmenting package that allows a fully charged Single Shot to inflict poison with its main projectile while improving the Ironeye's damage on poisoned enemies. Pair with the Edge of Order to get the full set of Ironeye-exclusive Ultimate Art perks, or with Night of the Wise for an additional boost if you inflict poison through any means.

Elden Ring Nightreign Ironeye Notes & Tips

  • Voice Actor: Joseph May
  • Look for bows with the Barrage weapon skill, as they can help you quickly put out damage on bosses or rapidly revive teammates from a distance.
  • While two-handing a bow, hold L1 for manual aiming. Getting headshots on most humanoid enemies can cause them to take extra damage and interrupt their attack in a stagger animation.
  • Your unique bow R2 fires three arrows in a spread pattern, and when you're up against large bosses, you can get all three arrows to hit while almost point-blank. A fully charged R2 also does 25% more damage than an uncharged one.
    • From an uncharged R2, each arrow deals approximately 60% of the damage of an R1. Landing even two arrows out of three doles out 20% more damage at once compared to a single R1.
    • While you're charging an R2, tap the Dodge button to perform a backstep while also firing the attack. Useful for creating distance against aggressive enemies.
    • Ironeye's unique moveset and firing speed only applies to bows, and does not benefit Crossbows, Ballistas, or Greatbows.
  • "HP/FP Restoration upon Successive Attacks" and "Partial HP restoration upon Post-Damage attacks" only work for melee attacks and will not benefit your bow attacks. However, "HP/FP Restoration upon Bow Attacks" and "Stamina recovers with each successful attack" do work.
    • However, the Ironeye's high Dexterity makes him proficient with Dex-scaling weapons; it can be a good idea to have one such weapon in reserve to capitalize on those effects.
    • Patch 1.02 partially addressed this:
Fixed a bug where bow attacks would not be affected by the effect of "Partial HP Restoration upon Post-Damage Attacks".
  • Look for "Improved ranged weapon attacks" and "Projectile Damage Drop-Off Reduced" passive effects to improve overall damage.
  • Since all bows do thrusting damage, they can benefit from any "improved thrusting counterattack" effects while you're firing at enemies in the middle of their attack animation. This also includes the Spear Talisman.
  • Weapon greases and weapon buff incantations apply to bows now, so if you failed to find any elemental bows to exploit boss weaknesses, look for some greases or sacred seals with buff spells to compensate.
    • Black Flame Blade is especially effective given that the percentage damage-over-time effect of blackflame ignores the ranged damage drop-off, and that the casting speed of this buff is quickened by Ironeye's high Dexterity.
  • Dormant Powers from forts and great churches have a 65% chance to contain an uncommon class weapon. Dormant powers from encampments and ruins have a 35% chance to contain an uncommon class weapon. Ironeye's class weapons consist of bows.

Nightreign Ironeye Remembrance Quest Walkthrough

How to unlock and start Remembrance Quests in Nightreign

In Nightreign, players can randomly find journal entries related to the corresponding Nightfarer that they are using in an Expedition, which are key components to starting Remembrance Quests.

These quests provide a backstory to the eight Nightfarers in the game, with players starting a Remembrance through the Roundtable Hold. When completed, these Remembrances will give rewards to players, such as Relics and Garbs (Skins).

When players are stuck in a part of a Remembrance Quest, or if a journal entry is missing, they may start an Expedition with the Nightfarer that they want to progress the quest.

Then, defeat the Nightlord and the players will be able to do the next step of the quest. For more information about Remembrance Quests, players may visit this page.

Ironeye Remembrance: The Traitor

Part 1, Ironeye Remembrance Objectives:

  • Speak to Priestess and accept her task.
  • Start an expedition.

NOTE: Requires the player to start an expedition as Ironeye to unlock the journal entries that involve reliving a remembrance for Ironeye. In some cases, defeating a Night Boss on the first day or even completing the expedition by defeating the Night Lord can also unlock the remembrance quest in the Journal.

As Ironeye, head to the "Journal" area at the Roundtable Hold and select Chapter 4 of Ironeye's Journal to start reliving his Remembrance. To start, find the Priestess and speak to her about the Fellowship and the traitor, then speak to her again and accept her task.

Next, start an expedition in Limveld and proceed to the red marker pinned on the map. The objective is located in the bottom section where a mini-boss, the Night Huntsman, will appear and invade your world. Simply defeat the boss invader to obtain the Traitor's Letter, then return to the Roundtable Hold and give the letter to the Priestess.

You can complete the expedition or fail it to travel back to the Roundtable Hold. Giving the letter to the Priestess is the last objective for the first part of Ironeye's Remembrance quest.

Interact with the nearby remembrance gateway or travel to the Journal to conclude the second part of Ironeye's Remembrance. Completing this section of the Ironeye's Remembrance quest updates the Ironeye's Journal and rewards the player with the Cracked Sealing Wax relic and the Ironeye's Chalice.

Ironeye Remembrance: The Edge of Order

Part 2, Ironeye Remembrance Objectives:

  • Speak to the Priestess.
  • Execute the assassin.
  • Defeat the Darkdrift Knight in Limveld.
  • Execute the assassin and speak to the Priestess.
  • Defeat Heolstor the Nightlord
  • Interact with the corpse and choose Clench Dagger.

As the Ironeye, begin an expedition and defeat the Nightlord to unlock the next remembrance quest. (Requires testing: you must defeat a Nightlord to unlock the next chapter of Ironeye's journal that involves the next part of his Remembrance Quest). Back at the Roundtable Hold, head to the "Journal" area and choose Chapter 6 to start reliving the second part of Ironeye's remembrance quest.

Upon starting, find the Priestess in the underground crypt. Speak to her, interact with the wounded assassin, and choose the option to execute the Traitor. Shortly after, the man will tell you to find an Edge of Order and then report back to him.

To progress, you'll need to start the Darkdrift Knight Expedition and defeat Fulghor Champion of Nightglow, to obtain the Edge of Order.

Back at the Roundtable Hold, return to the underground crypt, and execute the wounded NPC once more using the Edge of Order. After speaking to the NPC, talk to the Priestess, and this will formally conclude the second part of the Ironeye's Remembrance quest.

Interact with the nearby remembrance gateway or travel to the Journal to conclude the second part of Ironeye's Remembrance. Completing this section of the Ironeye's Remembrance quest updates the Ironeye's Journal and rewards the player with the Edge of Order relic.

The final unmentioned objective is to challenge the Night Aspect, Heolstor the Nightlord, as Ironeye. If you don't have him already unlocked, you must defeat four different Nightlords (as any character) to unlock him.

Defeat the Night Aspect, and when you return to the Roundtable Hold, interact with the corpse and choose the option "Clench Dagger". This will trigger a cutscene, which formally completes Ironeye's remembrance quest and updates Ironeye's Journal one final time. You'll also be rewarded with a new outfit, the Remembrance (Ironeye) garb for Ironeye.

Elden Ring Nightreign Ironeye Journal

Ironeye Journal: Chapter 1

Instructions sent from the Fellowship to the Ironeye:

Ironeye, beloved child Of the Fellowship,

We have received word from Batear that you have fulfilled your duty. Your compensation is on its way.

Remain at your present location — a new, substantial task will soon be upon you, which will likely require journeying to the Lands Between. Details to follow.

Ever your custodian,

Isolde

P.S. Please forget what I said the other day, it was pure balderdash, spoken in frustration.

Ironeye Journal: Chapter 2

Instructions sent from the Fellowship to the Ironeye:

Ironeye, beloved child of the Fellowship,

I am certain you are aware of the destruction of the boarding house in the Dusken Valley.

Root out the traitor and retire him. You can pick up his trail in the Lands Between.

Standard protocol applies — the Fellowship will not involve itself. Travelling expenses, intelligence and allies must all be procured as you work.

Ever your custodian,

Isolde

Ironeye Journal: Chapter 3

A report written by the Ironeye, addressed to the Fellowship:

Isolde, my custodian,

I have no means to deliver this report, but I here shall I record my progress:

Following the traitor's trail has lead me to the Roundtable Hold.

I have made an ally who goes by the name of "Priestess." There have been scant clues to find, but such is the way in this field of work. The work itself proceeds as usual.

Ironeye

Ironeye Journal: Chapter 4

Instructions sent from the Fellowship to the Ironeye:

Ironeye, beloved child of the Fellowship,

I believe you are familiar with "The Monster."

It is clear now that his guardian had been slain long ago. It seems to have happened when the boarding house was destroyed in the Dusken Valley. There is a strong likelihood that the traitor to the Fellowship is indeed the "Monster."

Take every precaution. He was raised by the Fellowship to be the centipedal scion he is, after all.

Ever your custodian,

Isolde

Ironeye Journal: Chapter 5

A report written by the Ironeye, addressed to the Fellowship:

Isolde, my custodian,

I have picked up the trail of the traitor— the Monster. He is a brother of the Fellowship. The battle is sure to be drawn out, but I shall prevail. I will send a report once the deed is done.

Ironeye

P.S. I found a sealed massive amongst my effects. In accordance with protocol, I shall open it, unless advised otherwise, Master.

Ironeye Journal: Chapter 6

A bloodstained letter, addressed to the Ironeye:

The scions of the Fellowship are fated to be disposed of once they play their part. Thus I had a dream — to wrest the power of the Night and bend the rules which govern our realm.

The scions raised would wander through an endless Night, fighting on and on. A Night that would never break, for their sake, I desired.

But it is a dream most foolish. I should never have mentioned it to you. Free yourself of your misgivings, and walk the path in which you believe.

Ever your custodian,

Isolde

Ironeye Journal: Chapter 7

A report written by the Ironeye, addressed to the Fellowship:

Isolde, my custodian,

I have no means to deliver this report, but I here shall I record my progress:

The traitor has been dealt with. All that remains is to face the Nightlord.

Ironeye

P.S. Fear not, Master — my mind is clear.

Ironeye Journal: Chapter 8

A report written by the Ironeye, addressed to the Fellowship:

Isolde, my custodian,

You were the finest guardian one could hope for.

I desired freedom from the yoke of the Fellowship only because you showed me it was possible.

I have only gratitude for you, Master. For now, my night shall never end.

to any ironeye mains reading: when fighting bell bearing hunter, please DO NOT use your skill on him >>when he's about to attack<< and your teammate(s) are behind him. i've had many moments where an ironeye uses their skill as the hunter winds up an attack and cause bell bearing hunter to do a 180 and one-shot myself and whoever else was hitting his back.

          • Anonymous

If you wanna get more value remember he's just the dex character. Bow in offhand, melee weapon in main, plus keep your enemies marked as much as possible.

fromsoft meticulously balancing scholar, revenant, and guardian with soft buffs every second long-awaited patch, meanwhile they just say "SCREW IT" and have characters like ironeye, undertaker, and duchess who seem to be balanced on "needs dodge, damage multiplication, and the ability to displace 1-2 other characters with stat swaps"

              • Anonymous

Feels great to use an archer build spent so much time using melee in OG Elden Ring Ironeyes the only character I find interesting

                • Anonymous

As someone who uses iron eye with bow in offhand and melee on the right hand, I am concerned about these nerfs. Now all the no-skill iron eye players are gonna try melee and go down faster than undertaker randoms. Rip reliable DoN teammates.

                  • Anonymous

The "nerfs" Ironeye received are negligible at best. You now have a harder time rezzing people from long ranges because the further away you are, the less of the rez bar you'll do.

the skill dash literally has iframe and you can get two charges. So if you constantly die as ironeye that's your issue lmao

Unpopular opinion , Ironeye best weapon is katana (River of Blood)
he has high dex and arc , he has dodge skill , he can continue mark in melee range
he has better chance to get RoB than Executor if you have "Dormant power help find katana" relic thanks to his passive.
RoB skill do enough damage to proc his mark.

Does he have white hair under his hat thing? I can't tell if they're just some fucked up string or something.

Devs really put all the effort into making sure Ironeye had no downsides. Range? Has it with no mana or ammo. Damage? Can apply multiple status effects in one build and give him his own exclusive one. Dodges? Make the skill a dodge with more range than anyone else. Ult? Same as the other damage ults but way more range and less risk.

Still the best after extra DLC characters, it's almost like his Marking is lowkey overpowered and his status bow makes every other class lowkey unusable

It's weird that Ironeye can customize his bow with status effects while none of the other bows really add any status build up. Also weird that none of the other ranged units get to customize their starter weapons either.

                                    Fun fact:
You can take out trolls faster while free aiming for their heads, they'll go down way faster than normal.

The relic that reduces his DEX and boosts his ARC is actually cracked. It gives exactly 28 ARC, the same as the base Executor at the cost of doing single-digit less damage with normal bows. Not only does it make it that much easier for him to proc status effects like poison (which also includes his poison Mark buff btw), but it also makes him cracked with all status effects, especially Katanas (phys dmg scales with dex but bleed build-up scales with ARC).

Not sure how this effects madness buildup but if you're not running Dex down Arc up in DoN, you're throwing. That boost to Mark is nuts

Please stop asking FROM to nerf IronEye. It is the only character compatible with my clumsy hands and dire eye-hand coordination.

                                        • Anonymous

The "nerf" isn't that bad. The poison build-up on hit is a bit lower which means you probably need one more hit to proc it, but most enemies that you need to mark more than 2 times probably has enough HP where it doesn't really matter. The flat damage got a slight nerf. Before, it scaled based on the marked enemy's MAX HP but now it scaled based on their current HP.

Overall, mark is only slightly worse in the SUPER early game, unnoticeable mid-game, and nonexistent against the nightlord

For the love of everything sacred to Junya Ishizaki, bring back the possibility of ADS with a bow during skills like Mighty Shot or Barrage.

I take back what I said about this guy being "wood magic". He's GOATED in deep of night, just make sure you bring the maris relic and his poison mark skill.

I've just watched a three Ironeye party destroy the souped up version of Libra. The streamer was Damegi (ダメギ) on youtube. Was doutbful at first because Ironeye is so squishy and has a low DPS. But not only did his party destroy the Nightlord, they had mown through the Crucible Knight area, and every field boss, subboss beforehand. Melted Freya within minutes. They reached Lv. 12 before the first night was even over! By the time they reached the sanctuary, they had amassed 300k in excess runes! Admittedly, two of the party had discarded their bows and opted for melée instead. But the key to their success against Libra was Ironeye's Ultimate Art: it decimated all mimics that Libra summons. No revives were used, only two of them were downed once. The whole thing was finished in under 40 minutes. It was not only impressive but fun to watch. No longer can Ironeye be accused of being boring!

the burst damage of the mark is apparently a flat amount + a percentage of max HP.
The total damage varies greatly. From about 5% for the Erdtree Avatar (trios) to 20% for the Guardian Golem (solo).

Ironeye, beloved child of the Fellowship,

                                                                Isolde.

                                                                • Don't forget that Ironeye isn't JUST the bow class - He has an A scaling in dex and a B in arcane, making him pretty good with... well, anything that scales with dex really. For close quarters combat, consider having a thrusting sword sidearm or some such. You'll likely get a good amount of chunk dps if you play it right, which can make popping your own marks easier in solo play.

                                                                  • Anonymous

                                                                      • Anonymous

This is wrong, charging the ultimate does extra res damage, almost double.

                                                                        • Anonymous

People think Ironeye is just R1 spam with the occasional R2 for close quarters or Ult for i-frames, but DON'T sleep on his AoW, ESPECIALLY Mighty Shot.

Part of the reasons bows suck in base ER is because enemies can basically input-read and dodge the frame you press the attack button. In Nightreign, this ability seems to have been toned down significantly, plus arrows seem to travel much, MUCH faster and even have slight homing. Not much, mind you, your bow isn't going to be a Javelin missile, but I've seen arrows visibly curve midair to hit side-stepping knights.

Mighty Shot is BUSTED on Ironeye, especially if you get buffs that reduce projectile drop-off. Sure, it costs a hefty bit of stamina and DPS-wise it doesn't match R1 spam, but it still does a boatload of damage and can easily chunk 5-10% of a boss's health bar if you break the Mark with it. Only downside is, again, it's not R1 spam, it takes a hefty chunk of stamina, and you're locked into a standing animation for the duration of the skill, but the sheer damage per shot more than makes up for it IMO.

Enchanted shot is like mighty shot, but with less damage and more tracking. It's about the same otherwise.

Rain of Arrows is pretty hit-or-miss. Against big bosses, you can do DISGUSTING amounts of damage, and it works in the castle basement too. Because the arrows come from the sky (duh), you can hit headshots pretty easily. Even Tree Sentinels will stagger if you land a good cast with this, and the extra spread makes it pretty forgiving to use. Only downside is, again, no R1 spam and you're locked into an animation you can't cancel out of. Great for statuses.

Sky shot? Just don't. The only good thing about it is being able to get a guaranteed headshot if they don't know you're there. Like, sure, it does a lot of damage, but good luck using it again since the tracking is AWFUL. It only locks onto where the enemy is when you fire, so if they move even a few feet to the side, it'll whiff. Not worth, just use Rain of Arrows instead.

                                                                          • Anonymous

I had a run the other day where it lasted around 20 full seconds per cast.

                                                                                  • Anonymous

                                                                                      1. constantly downed because you don't know how to dodge

This might be a difficult concept to grasp for some Ironeye players...

but just because you have range doesn't mean you need to stand 50 f*cktillion miles away. Your bow has damage fall off, and it falls off QUICK. I'm not saying you should be physically shoving arrows inside Adel's mouth, but you don't need to be super far away.

Also, just because you're ranged doesn't mean you're invisible. If the boss aggros onto you, just...stop spamming attacks? I've seen too many Ironeyes get one-shot cuz they mashing R1. Like congrats bro, you did 80 damage and now the boss is chasing you on the other side of the arena and you're downed. You're still playing a souls game. You have to DODGE.

                                                                                        • Anonymous

You beat the game. Congrats. Anybody who says otherwise is coping because they still haven't been able to.

                                                                                          • Anonymous

he struggles with big damage, but he's great, though a bit boring if you're just playing long range. i really enjoy him mid range build with off-hand katana or heavy thrusting sword

                                                                                            • Anonymous

his Marking ability is the best character ability hands down, spammable every 10 seconds, 5 if you have the right relic effect, easily negates any source of incoming damage you can think of including grabs with it's copious amounts of i-frames, covers enough distance to hit anything you want to hit for free damage, and then procceeds to make your arrows as well as your teammates's attacks hit harder for the next half minute, it's basically a direct upgrade of Raider's Retaliate, not to mention if you use the ult right after Marking, the ult will deal extra damage.

                                                                                              • Anonymous

I feel like the best play style for him is rather than picking at enemies from afar, you stay close for easy marks and shoot three arrows up an enemy’s ass for big damage for Ironeye standards

                                                                                                • Anonymous

Also, before anyone gets the wrong idea, I'm not attacking your for choosing this guy. Use what gets you the most wins.

                                                                                                    • Anonymous

Plays revenant: iron eye steals my starlight shards

                                                                                                      • Anonymous

I figured it must be kinda difficult because I always see Ironeyes dying all the time but no he's actually incredibly easy to use and survive with.

                                                                                                        • Anonymous

The same exact shape if the cape, the rest of the attire. He even has karambit in a fantasy setting for some unknown reason. He is also a literal skeleton archer(well, actually, more like a zombie, I guess)
