Alright hear me out: Wylder is considered the John Default guy, right? So to me, it makes sense most players would experiment with his remembrance before any others - ESPECIALLY Duchess' since she's an unlockable character. Hence, FROM missed out on a golden opportunity to have Wylder's remembrance play out like a straightforward romance between a knight with faded memories and the mysterious maiden who, from Wylder's perspective, seems to hold him in greater import than their fellow nightfarers.

Then, if/when the player does Duchess' remembrance, they're hit with the plot twist of a lifetime when it's revealed the two are actually blood relatives! Maybe Duchess has the option to pursue it anyway despie knowing the truth??? maybe some kissing kixsing muah action y'know what i mesn? mayve things get hot and stemy and the player watches with (gaping) jaw dropped in shock and/or pleasure!???!
