Vermilion Spear is a Spear in Nioh 3. The Spear is a long blade with a pointy end that is used to stab Enemies and Bosses. The Spear is a Samurai-style weapon, and can only be used when the Samurai fighting style is active. All Weapons in Nioh 3 also come with their own Skill Tree, which can provide Martial Arts for Samurai and Ninjutsu (Ninja Skills) for Ninja.

A spear with its entire shaft coated in vermillion lacquer said to be given only to those who display remarkable prowess in battle. Those known to have been worthy of wielding the spear include Maeda Keiji, a renowned dandy, and Nagasaka Nobumasa.

Nioh 3 Vermilion Spear Weapon General Information

• Vermilion Spear is impacted by Constitution, Heart, and Skill. The stat with the highest value will affect your attack greatly, the next highest will affect it slightly, and the lowest will have a minimal effect.
• Vermilion Spear can be used with the Samurai Style.
• Vermilion Spear's Base Attack is directly impacted by its level, rarity, and the player's Stats.
• Unlike Armor and Accessories, Weapons such as Vermilion Spear, DO NOT require a certain amount of Stats to activate their Special Effects.
• Weapons also DON'T have a weight value.
• Vermilion Spear is part of the Eccentric Set

For each rarity of Vermilion Spear, will grant the following:

• Common rarity will grant one random Special Effects
• Uncommon rarity will grant two random Special Effects
• Rare rarity will grant two random Special Effects
• Exotic rarity can grant up to three random Special Effects
• Divine rarity will grant a Divine Grace to any Divine Armor, Melee or Ranged Weapon. They will receive one of the divine graces as long as they aren't already a part of a Set Bonus.

Familiarity:

• Indicates how much you have used an item. The higher your familiarity, the stronger an item's abilities, and the more Amrita you will obtain when you offer the item at a shrine.
