Swan Spear is a Spear in Nioh 3. The Spear is a long blade with a pointy end that is used to stab Enemies and Bosses. The Spear is a Samurai-style weapon, and can only be used when the Samurai fighting style is active. All Weapons in Nioh 3 also come with their own Skill Tree, which can provide Martial Arts for Samurai and Ninjutsu (Ninja Skills) for Ninja.
The tip of this spear was once the arrowhead of a giant arrow used by the great warrior Minamoto no Tametomo during the late Heian period. Tametomo was so renowned for his prowess on the battlefield that he was worshipped as a god of war after his death. The spear was presented by Oda Nobunaga to Tokugawa Ieyasu, who in turn bestowed it upon the Okudaira clan years later. The Okudaira clan would wield it during their processions to and from the capital, putting other daimyo clans to shame with its splendor.
