Skill is a Stat in Nioh 3. Stats influence other player attributes such as Health, Maximum Ki, Encumbrance, and other combat and exploration characteristics. To increase your Stats, go to any Shrine, access the Level Up option and spend your collected Amrita. Before committing, you can view which General Stats or Attributes will be affected.

Power bonus falls off quick and the actual number seen in game is misleading, the power level you have at 99 skill is not actually appreciably stronger than what you have at 20 skill. Investing 5 to 20 points in the stat gives you a 10% damage increase for martial arts while arts proficiency gauge is full. When maxed to 99 that bonus is about 15%
