Echoing Thunder are a pair of Hatchets in Nioh 3. Hatchets are two  small, single-handed axes used together to deal damage to Enemies and Bosses. The Hatchets is a Ninja-style weapon, and can only be used when the Ninja fighting style is active. All Weapons in Nioh 3 also come with their own Skill Tree, which can provide Martial Arts for Samurai and Ninjutsu (Ninja Skills) for Ninja.

A pair of hatchets imbued with the power of lightning. According to legend, a sacred tree in Shinano Province was struck by a bolt of lightning, splitting the tree clean in half. These hatchets were then found in the resulting chasm. Whether they were originally buried at the heart of the tree or fell from the heavens when the lightning struck is unknown.
