Cracked Witch's Brooch is a Relic in Nightreign. Cracked Witch's Brooch is a unique relic that is acquired for completing the Guardian's Remembrance Quest, it is a relic that provides effects for the Guardian.  Relics are permanent rewards earned by Nightfarers after each successful or unsuccessful expedition, these relics randomly generate passive benefits that can apply bonuses or effects to various aspects of a Nightfarer's stats, skills, and combat. Managing Relics can be done by conducting a relic rite via the Relic Rites area in the Roundtable Hold. Relics used in rites are not consumed and can be repeatedly used in later relic rites. The Relic Rite menu can be accessed directly from the Roundtable Hold menu.

A cracked brooch, bereft of its former magic. A blood magic crystal received from the Recluse.

This brooch powered the accursed Ictarus weapons that once robbed the Pinionfolk of flight.

The Guardian smashed the jewel at the core of this magic implement. To think it was once a mere ceremonial tool to calm violent winds.

what's the difference between this and the uncracked version? why would I spend 3 sovereign sigils for this if it has the same effect anyway?

Why do people say that you have attacked the witch? The punish cutscene is a fake out where the Guardian actually breaks the enchanted brooch so it would never harm anyone ever again or be misused in a way that his race was subjected to. The game just lies about "punish her", you smash the artifact with your halberd instead.

for people wondering, art means your ultimate (you can hold guardian's ultimate btw, which gives invincibility to anyone who's in the circle) and skill is for his passive. While blocking do any directional dodge and you will do a superblock that takes almost no stamina to block things (and blocks affinity dmg better) BUT it slows you down + your stamina drains overtime.

I got this, I do not regret it.
It's what bird would have done, protect the flock at all costs...

this was worse than that time i killed solare for a level up...

For anyone confused "Art" refers to the Character's Ultimate Art, which for guardian is his leap into the air before slamming back down attack. If you just press the button for the ability you retain some of your art charge and only get a single heal pulse from this relic. However if you hold the button after finishing your attack you actually stay with your halberd planted into the ground making a protective aura around you for the whole team. Each second channeling this aura with your remaining art charge will heal all allies in the area!
