Fell Omen Fetish is a Relic in Nightreign. Fell Omen Fetish is a unique relic that can be obtained after beating the Fell Omen boss encountered at the tutorial section of the game, all Nightfarers can use and slot this relic into blue colored vessel slots of the equipped chalice.  Relics are permanent rewards earned by Nightfarers after each successful or unsuccessful expedition, these relics randomly generate passive benefits that can apply bonuses or effects to various aspects of a Nightfarer's stats, skills, and combat. Managing Relics can be done by conducting a relic rite via the Relic Rites area in the Roundtable Hold. Relics used in rites are not consumed and can be repeatedly used in later relic rites. The Relic Rite menu can be accessed directly from the Roundtable Hold menu.

A fetish bathed in golden magic.

Shackles were used to bind the accursed people called the Omen, and these ones were made to keep a particular Omen under strictest confinement.

But the magic has long faded, leaving only a dark stain in its wake.

The protector of gold yet stands guard over the realm, even after being swallowed by Night.

This relic is lowkey amazing on the Scholar. Since he's great at applying Status effects with 50 Arcane, you will often swap weapons to apply different status effects like Frostbite and Scarlet Rot, so that's a free attack boost from this relic. Additionally, the relic's buff to Throwing Knives is awesome because they are easily one of his best items. Throwing Knives Lv. 2 doubles their base damage from 40 to 80, and Knives Lv. 3 causes each hit to apply a -2% DR debuff on the target, stacking up to -20% DR. Since you can buy max stacks of 12 Knives for cheap at any standard Merchant, this is very consistent damage and debuff against bosses.

If you reach Chapter 8 in Duchess' remembrance, you get a letter from the Iron Menial that says:
"...But to make such a thing possible, to connect to the Wylder in the outside world, before he draws any closer to death, we require a fetish."
I'm wondering if that's somehow connected to this item. It's in FromSoftware's style to hide some things behind the most subtle details.

genuinely not that terrible to get.
warm up with a few matches beforehand
equip rogier's sword in your offhand for the free glintblades (and therefore free damage)
make the most out of duchess being there, try to stay on the opposite side of morgott from duchess, let her distract.
use your ult right off the bat, and use it off rip as soon as you can every time.
Use wylder's greatsword for the poise damage, use grappling hook to gap close if you are far away when a crit opportunity arises
You also get occasional flask refills, so keep an eye on it just in case you get one.
          Enjoy the chair :)

Switching weapons as an activation effect is kinda weird but it is how morgott operates so I guess it fits lol

Seems to be bugged on Executor, doesn't apply while swapping in and out of Suncatcher, would've thought this would've been a slam dunk for a relic slot given how often I swap in and out of parry stance but damn, it just doesn't proc at all with that.

That being said, it WILL proc even if you swap into an empty weapon slot if you have nothing in any of your offhand slots, so you can totally still proc it like that, so just keep swapping if you need to reapply the buff (unfortunately it doesn't have an actual icon but it seems to last for about 10 seconds (keep in mind if you're twohanding a weapon you'll have to hit the weapon swap key one more time to proc it) so yeah, you can just have a generic attack buff online at all times just by swapping and the percent increase (tested at Exec level 15 with weapons at base AR 100) on hit non-buffed they deal 110, on hit with buff 121. So the Omen Fetish grants a ~10% damage buff for 10 seconds as far as I can tell with very limited testing. And considering how easy it is to proc it, and the fact you don't even need to swap into a weapon if you don't have one on your offhand makes this a very easy damage buff to sustain, pretty worth it imo.
