Seven Scalp Splitstaff is a Splitstaff in Nioh 3. Splitstaves are staff-like weapons that can separate into two distinct weapons (like short staffs or blades) or function as a single, longer pole, offering flexibility for different combat ranges and style to deal damage to Enemies and Bosses. The Splitstaves is a Ninja-style weapon, and can only be used when the Ninja fighting style is active. All Weapons in Nioh 3 also come with their own Skill Tree, which can provide Martial Arts for Samurai and Ninjutsu (Ninja Skills) for Ninja.
Even among the ranks of a group that specializes in hunting yokai, only those who have felled more than seven such fiends are permitted to use this particularly lethal splitstaff.
The relevance of the number seven is unknown. However, there are theories that it is derived from either the Classical Chinese concept of the seven luminaries (representing the sun, moon, and five planets) or the "Northern Seven Stars," which were believed to govern death.
