Iron Tonfa are a pair of Tonfa in Nioh 3. Tonfa are short-ranged weapons resembling a stick with a perpendicular handle, used in pairs for blocking, striking, and grappling Enemies and Bosses. The Tonfa is a Ninja-style weapon, and can only be used when the Ninja fighting style is active. All Weapons in Nioh 3 also come with their own Skill Tree, which can provide Martial Arts for Samurai and Ninjutsu (Ninja Skills) for Ninja.

 

Tonfa consisting of nothing but iron. Although their heavy weight makes them difficult to wield, this is made up for by their superb stopping power and their ability to reliably withstand the brunt of enemy attacks.

 

Nioh 3 Iron Tonfa Weapon General Information

  • Iron Tonfa is impacted by ConstitutionStrength, and Skill. The stat with the highest value will affect your attack greatly, the next highest will affect it slightly, and the lowest will have a minimal effect.
  • Iron Tonfa can be used with the Ninja Style.
  • Iron Tonfa's Base Attack is directly impacted by its level, rarity, and the player's Stats.
  • Unlike Armor and AccessoriesWeapons such as Iron TonfaDO NOT require a certain amount of Stats to activate their Special Effects.
  • Weapons also DON'T have a weight value.
  • Iron Tonfa is not part of a set

For each rarity of Iron Tonfa, will grant the following:

  • Common rarity will grant one random Special Effects
  • Uncommon rarity will grant two random Special Effects
  • Rare rarity will grant two random Special Effects
  • Exotic rarity can grant up to three random Special Effects
  • Divine rarity will grant a Divine Grace to any Divine Armor, Melee or Ranged Weapon. They will receive one of the divine graces as long as they aren't already a part of a Set Bonus.

Familiarity:

  • Indicates how much you have used an item. The higher your familiarity, the stronger an item's abilities, and the more Amrita you will obtain when you offer the item at a shrine.
