Kintaro's Gauntlets in Nioh 3 is an Arm Guard and part of the Kintaro Set. The Arm Guard is a piece of equipment that is worn on the arms that gives various Stats, passive effects, and other combat advantages. When worn, the Arm Guard also alters the appearance of the arms of the character.

These arm guards offer covers protecting the backs of the hands extending to the fingertips. Though it's hard to draw a bow in these armor pieces, they afford excellent protection when using weapons such as spears and bludgeons. They are part of a set of heavy armor said to have belonged to Sakata Kintoki, one of the Four Guardians in service to Minamoto no Yorimitsu. He was the samurai known as Kintaro in his youth who inspired the folklore legend of the same name. This armor is thought to have been one of the spoils of war when the demon Shuten Doji was defeated by Sakata, along with Yorimitsu and his men.

In Nioh 3, Armor Sets grant special bonuses that scale based on the number of pieces equipped from the same set. Equipping additional pieces unlocks stronger effects, allowing the set to further enhance a specific playstyle, build, or combat synergy.

Kintaro Set is composed of 6 total pieces and to obtain its full bonuses players require to equip all of them. This set is completed by adding the following pieces:
