Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Secrets
How to Find the Secret Room in Belurat Tower Settlement
From where you got the Bone Bow, make a hard left as soon as you exit the doorway. You will see a pile of rubble that you can jump on, and you will be able to see a doorway leading to a secret room. Enter the room, and you will encounter four Man-Flies in this area. After clearing the area, you can find a Scadutree Fragment in the other room on the east, and the Dried Bouquet talisman inside a small room when you head out.
You can also get to the secret room by jumping down from the area with Shadow Undead praying to a tree. In this area, you will find broken railings by the stairs going up. Below it, you will see the pile of rubble which is beside the doorway to the secret room.
Give Thiollier's Concoction to the Dragon Communion Priestess
After receiving Thiollier's Concoction from Thiollier after giving him the Black Syrup from Moore, you may give this to the Dragon Communion Priestess over at the Grand Altar of Dragon Communion. She will then sleep for 24 in-game hours, and Dragonlord Placidusax will abandon her. Talk to her after she wakes up, exhausting all dialogues with her. If you then defeat Bayle The Dread after this, you will receive the Ancient Dragon Florissax from her when you return to the grand altar.
Remembrance Duplication Coffins in Elden Ring
In the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, there are Remembrance Duplication Coffins which have a similar function as the Walking Mausoleums in the base game. These coffins duplicate a Remembrance, but the coffin can only be used once. There are a total of three Remembrance Duplications, and these are located at:
- Cathedral of Manus Metyr: Found in the lake surrounding the Cathedral of Manu Metyr, slightly southwest.
- Finger Ruins of Rhia: Found in the southeast of the Finger Ruins of Rhia on a cliff down from the site of grace of the same name, taking the path upwards instead into the valley, by holding south-east.
- Finger Ruins of Dheo, Scaduview: Found in the north of Scaduview, below the cliff the Fingerstone Hill site of grace sits atop. Head north-east after descending down the path from the site of grace.
Where to Find the Illusory Wall in Shadow Keep
In the Shadow Keep, once you get to the rampart with the burning boats and Shadow Militiamen, you will find a ladder nearby a corpse containing a Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot. Go down the ladder, and you will find a room behind the waterfall next to the ladder. Keep following the path until you arrive in a room with a painting, the Domain of Dragons Painting.
In this room, the wall between two torches is an illusory wall. Follow the path that the wall reveals, then go inside the coffin. You will be transported to another area, which is near the Castle Watering Hole Site of Grace See Elden Ring Map. This area will give you access to locations such as the Ruins of Unte, Darklight Catacombs, and even the Village of Flies.
How to Get Hornsent Grandam's Stew
Hornsent Grandam is an NPC who can be found at the Belurat, Tower Settlement. Her people previously inhabited Belurat, Tower Settlement, which was then attacked by Messmer the Impaler. Interact with her after unlocking the storeroom she is in by using the Storeroom Key found in a room on top of the waterfall at Belurat, Tower Settlement.
After interacting with Hornsent Grandam, defeat the Divine Beast Dancing Lion. Equip the Divine Beast Head that you received from the boss, then interact twice with Hornsent Grandam to receive the Watchful Spirit incantation and a Scorpion Stew. You can keep interacting with Hornsent Grandam to receive a Scorpion Stew if you do not have one in your inventory. A Scorpion Stew can be given to Hornsent to receive x3 Furnace Visages.
After defeating Messmer the Impaler, you may interact with Hornsent Grandam while equipping the Divine Beast Head to receive the Gourmet Scorpion Stew. If you reload the area, you may pick up another Gourmet Scorpion Stew while Hornsent Grandam is sleeping.

Defeating Furnace Golems in Elden Ring
Furnace Golems are large titans that can be found roaming around the Land of Shadow. These elite enemies drop Crystal Tears and a Furnace Visage when they are slain. Furnace Golems might seem pretty intimidating at first due to their enormous size, appearance, and attacks. However, you can easily deal with these Furnace Golems as they can easily be defeated when you have enough information about them. Up-close, Furnace Golems will use their feet to stomp on the ground to either hit the player or create flaming explosions that have a huge AoE. You can dodge these attacks by jumping, which can be made easier by using Torrent to double jump.
While evading the attacks of the Furnace Golem, you can attack one foot of it until it breaks its stance. After the Furnace Golem breaks its stance, you may attack the other foot until its stance breaks again. Do it again on the other foot for a third time, which will then cause the Furnace Golem to topple over. After the Furnace Golem topples over, attack its head to do a critical strike. Rinse and repeat until the Furnace Golem is dead. However, for Furnace Golems with armored legs, you cannot use this method on them. For these armored Furnace Golems, you may use the high ground to your advantage.
Find high ground in which you may be able to reach the Furnace Golem's head, then you have to throw a Hefty Furnace Pot or a Hefty Fire Pot on the opening of their head to deal massive amounts of damage on them. To craft these items, you will need to find the Greater Potentate Cookbook (1) for the Hefty Fire Pot, and the Greater Potentate Cookbook (2) for the Hefty Furnace Pot.
Defeating Golem Smiths in Elden Ring
Golem Smiths are enemies that are resistant to attacks that do not hit their weak spot. Their weak spot is an embedded red gem on their back. If the Golem Smith is located in a tight space, bait it out first to an area in which you can freely move. You can easily get behind a Golem Smith's back as all of their attacks are slow enough for you to be able to strafe to their back. You may then hit the Golem Smith's back, and you can do a backstab which deals massive damage due to their back being the weak spot.
