Village of Flies is a Location in Elden Ring, added with the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. The Village of Flies is found in Scadu Altus region in the valley south of Bonny Village. Can only be accessed by going down the river from Shadow Keep and unlocking the Recluses River Downstream site of grace area.

From the Recluses' River Downstream Site of Grace, go south and descend while keeping the western cliff wall close to your right-side. Jump down a few rocky ledges. After a medium drop, in a small clearing with a Curseblade and several flies, turn west and go up the path. Follow the rock wall around a bend. Village of Flies Walkthrough

To find this area, you must first unlock the path down Recluses' River from Shadow Keep's secret ladder to a teleport Coffin. Once you do this, follow the river south from Ruins of Unte until you reach Recluses River Downstream. Now follow south and stick to the western wall as you navigate many man-fly enemies and a Deathblade. In the small clearing where the Curseblade attacks, look west and north for an upward path to Village of the Flies.

How to Find the Village of Flies in Elden Ring

Shadow Keep Main Entrance - Bridge

The Village of Flies is a location found in the depths section of the Scadu Altus region. To reach this, you need to use the coffin that's located under the main plaza section of the Shadow Keep. When you reach the bridge section of the main plaza (the area where you encounter the Vulgar Militia enemies and burning boats), check the east side of the bridge to find a ladder that you can climb down to the underground area of the Shadow Keep's main plaza. (The ladder is next to a body that you can loot that has a Silver-Pickled Fowl Foot item.)

After climbing down, you'll see a waterfall next to it, go through the waterfall to find a room that has another ladder. Climb down the ladder and you'll find a small store room that contains an item, the Domain of Dragons Painting. Approach the wall on the right and hit it to reveal an illusory wall. Beyond is a pathway leading to a sewage area where you'll find a coffin that you can interact with. Resting in the coffin will trigger a short cutscene and you'll be teleported to the depths section of Scadu Altus, specifically by the Castle Watering Hole site of grace See Shadow of the Erdtree Map.

You will come across a Furnace Golem outside the building and you can ignore it and follow the stream. Head southwest and scale the wall on your left side. You will be able to activate the Recluses' River Upstream Site of Grace here. Continue scaling the wall and occasionally jumping between platforms. Pay attention to the flooring here as a gap separates some. When you reach the end, cross to the right side and still, continue heading towards the southern direction. From here, flies will now start attacking you. This is when a small village will come into view on the eastern side. To get there, you first need to get past it, come around, and drop to the platform ahead of you.

You will be able to activate and rest at the Recluses' River Downstream - Site of Grace here. After activating this site, you will jump down and continue navigating ahead. You will know that you are in the right area if there are Giant Flies on your path. As you reach the ground level, a Curseblade will attack you. Watch out because this fight can be difficult because the other Giant Flies will also attack you here.

After the fight, explore the western direction and you will find a Revered Spirit Ash on the small altar. Then, go around it and jump up the stones to reach the small elevated area. You can pick up a Silver Horn Tender here found next to destroyed pots and corpses. Then, go to the top part of the village, and loot the Man-Fly Ashes guarded by two shadow casters and several man-fly enemies. Map Link

• Use a fast area-of-effect Ash of War like Stormcaller to avoid getting overwhelmed by flies. An Ash of War like Flame of the Redmanes can be effective but takes too long to activate, will often get interrupted by the mob of flies, and will often miss the flies because of the uneven terrain.
• There is nothing of interest except for the Man-Fly Ashes and Revered Spirit Ash, so a player is advised to run through and grab the items. Further exploration will not bring satisfaction.
