Township is a Location in Elden Ring Nightreign. Township offers solace in the land of Limveld, these are safe spaces where you may sometimes encounter the Nomadic Specter Merchant. You can replenish your stash of Consumables, Throwables, and even get your hands on some Equipment.
Township Information in Nightreign
Like other Key Locations in Nightreign, the Township is also revealed at the start of the expedition. This location is mostly empty, except for the presence of the Merchant and the Smithing Table. This merchant also features an expanded inventory to include several Weapons, a Smithing Stone (2), a Stonesword Key, and other items.
NOTE: One of the ways you can spot the Merchant from a distance is the smoke that's emitted from the campfire they're sitting next to. A Merchant typically has a Smithing Table beside it, which makes it a good, quick stop if you need to upgrade your Weapons.

A Township is not always present in a run, and it's important to visit them when you get them in your expedition, especially when you have runes to spare on Day 2.

This merchant sells infinite starlight shards. You can also buy the small pouch from him, and another from the regular merchant, to wind up with 6 inventory slots.
He also sells smithing stone 2 as well as some rare tier weapons. The staffs/seals usually feature related spells on 2nd slot, usually an upgrade to 1st slot, so they are really good.
So basically this is an extremely high priority stop for casters. If you're short on basically any resource, there's a good chance this one POI can solve every problem you've got
