Grat The Trader is an NPC in Baldur's Gate 3. Grat can be found at the Goblin Camp. Grat is a Goblin Trader and the novice of the Absolute. Grat is a goblin Trader who resides at the Goblin Camp, selling items he claims to have stolen from the bodies of the dead.If you choose to fight the goblins Grat will become hostile and no longer act as a trader. There is a massive amount of NPCs in Baldur's Gate 3, and their ideals, needs and way of living are strictly related to the actions they perform during the course of the game. Their attitude towards you and your party may be affected by the deeds and decisions you and your party have taken on.

This is the best healing ring in the game. Any AOE healing spell will give all party members Bless. At level 5, there's an aoe version that requires a bonus action for cleric. Buy it, and use it for the rest of the game.

Grat has some items lying on the ground around him.
Normally people steal them, but its not so easy to do, even when invisible and offed the torches around there, using Turnbased mode etc.
So if you dont want to steal those wares on the ground and want to be an honest customer you can do this trick:
Someone of your party f.e. Laezel with Mage Hand Cantrip can use mage hand to push or throw items around on the ground ther at Grats place.
Dont push em too far, because GRAT likes to say something and then goes up to pushed item and picks it up personally to make it a sellable item in his inventory.
This way you can let him collect all items there and then go shopping as honest customer.
f.e. Metall shield with around 14 charisma is about 120Gold in early Access Patch 6.
Dont worry about attitude change, becuase mage hand just dissappears and with it all minus attitude which the invisible mage hand accumulated on Grat by pushing items around.
I killed all the Goblins at the camp, except for Grat, which I knocked down in order to be able to steal his items afterwards. It worked. After the following long rest he reappeared alone, hostile at the same spot. Then, I stole most of his inventory, until I failed a check and had to fight him again, and then I knocked him down again. However, after another long rest he disappeared, I couldn't find him anywhere in the Goblin Camp. Does anyone know if he moves or something? I did the exact same thing with Roah and she remaind at the same spot and I always steal from her after every long rest, but Grat is gone.
