Companion Quests in Baldur's Gate 3 are exclusive to Companions and their individual story will advance if you complete these quests. Completing these quests will also grant you rewards, experience, and you will also loot a lot of new equipment during the exploration and battles that are require to complete them. These quests are not required for the completion of the main story of the game.
