Fezzerk is an NPC and potential Enemy in Baldur's Gate 3. Fezzerk can be found at Blighted Village. Fezzerk commands a group of goblins that are torturing a Deep Gnome called Barcus Wroot. There is a massive amount of NPCs in Baldur's Gate 3, and their ideals, needs and way of living are strictly related to the actions they perform during the course of the game. Their attitude towards you and your party may be affected by the deeds and decisions you and your party taken on.

BG3 Fezzerk Dialogue Options
Act 1:
When you first encounter Fezzerk, he has a gnome (Barcus Wroot) tied to a windmill's mill blade for pure amusement. Your interaction here will be recorded as part of the Rescue the Gnome quest. You can interact with him. This situation can be resolved in different ways:
- Doing nothing regarding Barcus Wroot, the Gnome tied to the windmill.
- Convince Fezzerk and his group to leave, either by passing a check or using the tadpole.
- Fezzerk and Wyll's story has changed. Wyll does not have a special interaction with Fezzerk anymore.
Depending on your choices, different Companions will approve or disapprove.
Dialogue choices:
- [INTIMIDATION] I won't let you harm a defenseless being - not without a fight.
- [PERSUASION] All of you lot against some deep gnome? You should find a better target.
- [DETECT THOUGHTS] Read the goblin's mind.
- [ILLITHID] [WISDOM] You will release the gnome. That's an order.
Use persuasion and they will leave him alone. Shadowheart, Gale and Karlach will approve.
Attack. Laez`el will approve, Shadowheart disapprove
Act 2:
If Fezzerk survives your first encounter and you defeated the goblin leaders, when you enter the great hall to report to Disciple Z'rell, she and Katheric Thorm are dealing with a group of three goblins. One of them is Fezzerk. They are on trial because they failed to achieve their mission. You are then asked how they should deal with them. It doesn't matter what your first choice is, one of the goblins gets killed either way (though Thorm seems to approve most of the "kill them" route). Afterwards Fezzerk and the other remaining goblin are entrust to you. You have 4 choices:
- Make them kill themselves (Approval: Astarion - Disapproval: Wyll, Karlach)
- Choke them to death (Approval: Astarion - Disapproval: Wyll, Karlach)
- Make them fight you (Approval: Lae'zel, Karlach - Disapproval: Astarion)
- Free them (Approval: Karlach - Disapproval: Astarion, Halsin, Lae'zel)
Freeing the goblins also gives an Inspiration Point to the Urchin Origin and the Noble Origin.

Karlach my dear, these ****s slaughtered a whole village full of TIEFLINGS, and are torturing a poor gnome. **** is wrong with you getting mad at me for killing them?

For me at least, there is no approval gain with anyone if I persuade him to leave. And If I beat him until he surrenders (6hp or less) he just bugs out and I can't talk to him

I kill all his goons first, then make him beg for his life, then kill him too.

This is the most annoying NPC in the game.
He will force-stop combat & start begging for his life.
No matter what you decide the other goblins run away.
Personally i genocide all the goblins i meet so this guy annoys me to no end, because i have to burst him down so he does not get to trigger his surrender.

When he gets low on HP and you are nearby he will surrender after a check of wisdom (disadvantage) on my barb, you can get info about the goblin camp and all he is wearing
This guy seems to enjoy blowing himself up. He throws bombs and sometimes he will throw one at someone standing right next to him. Very frustrating when I'm trying to kill all the goblins for XP and they all run away when he dies.

A glitch occurs if you attack the goblins instead of talking to them, and if he's let go after surrendering. After he's free to go, it'll shortly play the cutscene as if you're meeting him the first time. Funnily enough, if you stopped the windmill, it'll be moving again for that cutscene with Wroot spinning. Also if you Attack, nothing will happen after the scene since he already surrendered.

I tried to trip him with a Fighter Battlemaster, got a crit and then Fezzerk gave up, telling me a "secret passage" over the goblin camp (pretty much sure it's not "secret" and he offered me his Axe and a Grease bottle)...

you can get him to surrender btw and he'll tell you a hidden path into the camp haven't been able to verify the path yet

I met him but didn't fight him in Act 1. He appeared in Act 2 in Moonrise Tower.

Is the interaction with wyll not triggering for anyone else?

Killing him and his entire squad seems to reward you with the most exp? Save him for last, otherwise if he gives up too fast, the rest of his party will flee and you will lose out on that exp
