Wreath of Purity Tool Notes & Tips in Hollow Knight Silksong
- It is a must to equip this tool when Hornet is traversing along Putrified Ducts, Bilewater and Sinner's Road. Most of the water areas here are infested by Muckmaggots and this will infect Hornet and greatly affect her binding.
- When infested by Muckmaggots, Hornet's healing ability will be disabled for a duration of time, which could be a danger to Hornet especially when actively in battle.
- Wreath of Purity gets destroyed further the longer that you stay soaked in the infested water as the Muckmaggots will destroy it upon contact. You must rest on a Bench to restore it to its full capacity.

AnonymousThis really should've been a yellow tool. Maybe the Wanderer crest having three yellow slots would have an actual purpose then. Like, I thought the yellow tools were supposed to be all about traversal and exploration, so how come this one is a blue tool?

AnonymousPutting this where it is is beyond insane. I mean, yeah, there's the off chance that some lucky soul will somehow completely miss the Bilewater area before arriving at Songclave and doing the "find the merchant" quest, which might lead them over there, but that would be a tiny minority of players. Maybe something to keep in mind for future playthroughs.

AnonymousPutting this up in the Putrefied Ducts is just down right trolling. Here is the item that will help you navigate the area you just finished and will probably never need to come back to.

Anonymoususing "North", "East" and "Right" to describe direction in a 2D game is toxic lmao
