Mister Mushroom is a special collectible in Hollow Knight Silksong. Mister Mushroom can be found in various locations in Pharloom, which you can only start searching for after you read the inscription from the secret stone tablet found in the hidden cave of Putrified Ducts. The hidden cave located in the top-right corner of Pale Lake is reachable using Silk Soar, which you can obtain in Act 3 from the Abyss. Once you read the inscription of the secret stone tablet, you will receive the quest, "Passing of the Age." The inscription will give you clues on how to locate Mister Mushroom. You have to find him seven times to complete the quest and receive an achievement, "Passing of the Age." This page will guide you on how to find Mister Mushroom and will cover all his locations. Mister Mushroom Secret Ending Guide in Hollow Knight Silksong
The Passing of the Age wish will be available once you find the secret stone tablet in the Putrified Ducts. The stone tablet is at the top-right of the Pale Lake, and you will reach it by using the Silk Soar ability, which you obtain in Act 3 from The Abyss. The inscription on the stone tablet will provide clues on where to find Mister Mushroom, and upon reading it, the wish will be available. There will be small blue mushroom indicators on the ground and spores coming out, and you will also hear a mumbling sound when you are near Mister Mushroom's location. Once you see or hear the indicator, use the Needolin ability to have Mister Mushroom pop out from the ground or platform.
After finding all seven locations of Mister Mushroom, the Passing of the Age wish will be granted. Mister Mushroom will fly out of Pharloom. Upon completing the wish, you have to defeat the Lost Lace in the Abyss to witness the secret ending cutscene and obtain the achievement, "Passing of the Age."

Silksong Moss Grotto Mister Mushroom

The first location of Mister Mushroom can find just a little bit to the right of Ruined Chapel in Moss Grotto. You can tell that Mister Mushroom is around when you see small blue mushrooms on the ground and spores coming out from the ground, and you will also hear someone mumbling. As you approach the mumbling sound and the small blue mushrooms, use the Needolin ability to have Mister Mushroom pop out underground.
Silksong Bone Bottom Mister Mushroom

The second clue on where Mister Mushroom is in the camp of the Bone Bottom. You can find Mister Mushroom on a platform near the pathway to The Marrow. You have to use the Faydown Cloak ability to perform a double jump to reach the first platform to the right before the entrance to The Marrow.
After ascending to the first platform, use the Faydown Cloak ability once more to reach the platform to the left where you can see the small blue mushrooms and hear the mumbling of Mister Mushroom. Use the Needolin ability to have Mister Mushroom pop out from underground.
Silksong Far Fields Mister Mushroom

The third clue refers to the location in Far Fields. Mister Mushroom is hiding on a platform that is near the southeast edge of the Far Fields. You can find the platform to the east of the house of Seamstress, near the Weavenest door. Once you are near the Weavenest door, stop on this platform (see the image below) and jump on it.
Jump to the other platform to the right, where you can see the small blue mushrooms and hear Mister Mushroom's mumbling. Once you are on the platform, use the Needolin Ability to make Mister Mushroom come out from the underground.
Silksong Greymoor Mister Mushroom

The fourth clue for finding Mister Mushroom refers to the location in Greymoor. You can find Mister Mushroom on a platform to the north of the left tower of Greymoor, near the entrance of Wisp Thicket. If you are starting your way to the platform from Greymoor, you have to start at the encircled location in the image, on a platform where you will find a string of rosaries.
You can get there using your Clawline and Cling Grip abilities to traverse to the obstacles, and go to that platform. Get off the platform, then try to use the Clawline to reach the wall outside of the platform, then use Cling Grip on the wall to get to the top.
Once you reach the top platform, head left until you see a path going down. Drop down from the platform to find the small blue mushrooms and the mumbling sound of Mister Mushroom. Use the Needolin ability to have Mister Mushroom pop out from underground.
Silksong The Slab Mister Mushroom

The fifth clue refers to the location in The Slab. You can find Mister Mushroom if you head to the left side of the cave where you fought First Sinner. You can reach the cave after you head east, past the bench, from the Bellway fast travel of The Slab. Use the Needolin ability once you see the small blue mushrooms to make Mister Mushroom come out from his hiding place
Silksong Mount Fay Mister Mushroom

The sixth clue for the location of Mister Mushroom refers to the top of Mount Fay. Climb up to the top of Mount Fay using the Faydown Cloak ability for easier jumps and Cling Grip to traverse the walls that you need to climb. Once you reach the peak of Mount Fay, you will find Mister Mushroom staring at the bird-like creature while waiting for you to speak to him.
Silksong The Cradle Mister Mushroom

The final clue for the location of Mister Mushroom refers to the peak of The Cradle. You have to use Silk Soar, Faydown Cloak, Clawline, and Cling Grip to reach the peak of The Cradle. Traversing to the peak of The Cradle is quite challenging.
Start from the boss area in The Cradle, where you fought Lace with a lot of flowers. Use Silk Soar at the spot where you can see a sun ray. After the Silk Soar animation, use Swift Step to land to the left platform and head straight to the left to enter a cave.
Traverse to get out of the cave and head to the left of the half bell to use Silk Soar again. From there, you should ready your Cling Grip to climb up the wall that leads to a yellow-coated platform. Use Silk Soar between the yellow-coated platform and the lever on its right.
You will land on another yellow-coated platform upon using the last Silk Soar. Use Drifter's Cloak upon landing to the yellow-coated platform to glide to the left. Keep gliding to the left until you see a spiked platform at the bottom, and use Silk Soar again on its left.
After the Silk Soar from the left side of the spiked platform, you will land on a ceiling. Drop down to the right upon landing on the ceiling to get to the yellow-coated platform that has boulder. Upon reaching the yellow-coated platform with boulder, use the Silk Soar to the right of the boulder.
You will find the secret cave to the left after you land on the ceiling. Enter the cave and reach the peak of The Cradle using your skills. Once you get to the peak of The Cradle safely, you will notice a single platform with small blue mushrooms and the mumbling sound of Mister Mushroom for the last time. Use your Needolin ability to make him come out from his hiding place and speak to him for the last time.
After speaking to Mister Mushroom, he will bid his goodbye to you and will fly out of the cave, and the Passing of the Age wish will be granted.
Anonymouscues are already vage and even kinda misleading at some point, but ok its a secret ending quest, its meant to be heavy exploration thing... but IN ORDER?? that's even what made me not do it without a guide, even going to the right places following it by myself it wasn't there, ty TC

For anyone that is still confused or got the surface memento already, he just below the surface. So you can use the shortcut and then backtrack to find him quickly.
Forgot how annoying mr mushroom really was lol. Tried to do the first few myself and just gave up when i went to wisp thicket instead of goddamn far fields. Skill issue and all that i know but whatever
