Weaver Queen Ending

Conditions:

• Defeat Grand Mother Silk, the boss at the end of Act 2
• Choose Bind when prompted after the fight.

Weaver Queen Ending Guide

The Weaver Queen Ending is the standard conclusion to Hollow Knight: Silksong and will likely be the first ending most players see. In this version of events, Hornet defeats Grand Mother Silk at the Citadel and chooses to Bind her power. This transforms Hornet into a part-weaver, part-wyrm being, and her silk spreads across Pharloom, cocooning the kingdom and trapping its people. 

To reach this ending, simply play through the main story until the end of Act 2. The path takes you through Moss Grotto, Deep Docks, Bellhart, and the Gilded City, eventually leading to the Citadel, where Grand Mother Silk waits as the final boss.

Once you’ve defeated her, you’ll be given a choice. Picking Bind will trigger the Weaver Queen Ending, showing Hornet absorbing Grand Mother Silk’s power and encasing Pharloom in silk.

This ending is always available, even if you’ve met the conditions for other endings. Unlocking this ending also gives the Weaver Queen achievement .

Snared Silk Ending Guide

Conditions:

• Complete the Silk and Soul Wayfarer quest in Act 2.
• Collect four quest items: Maiden's Soul, Hermit's Soul, Seeker's Soul, and Snare Setter.
• Defeat Grand Mother Silk in the Citadel.
• Choose Needolin instead of Bind after the fight.

Snared Silk Guide

The Snared Silk Ending is an alternate conclusion to Act 2 in Hollow Knight: Silksong. In this ending, Hornet completes the Silk and Soul quest and, instead of binding Grand Mother Silk, uses the Needolin to open a void portal. This choice unlocks Act 3, advancing the story into a deeper narrative. During the cinematic, Lace sacrifices herself to save Hornet as Pharloom begins to collapse. Unlocking this ending gives the Snared Silk achievement.

Twisted Child Ending

Conditions:

• Defeat Grand Mother Silk while cursed. from the description of the Achievement
• This requires finishing the quest of the Twisted Bud, which will lead to Hornet being cursed
• After being cursed, simply defeat Grand Mother Silk while being in that state.
• Avoid completing the Infestation Operation quest, as it removes the curse.

Twisted Child Ending Guide

In this ending, Hornet, cursed by the Twisted Bud, faces Grand Mother Silk in a weakened state. As the battle concludes, Hornet collapses, and cursed tendrils spread from her body, sealing Silk’s power at a tragic cost.

To unlock this ending, you must first obtain the Twisted Bud in Bilewater by defeating the boss there. After obtaining it, carry the curse to Greyroot in Shellwood and interact with the altar to activate it. Once cursed, Hornet will face debuffs such as no healing, no silk generation, and reduced combat effectiveness. Avoid curing the curse, do not complete the Infestation Operation quest.

Finally, proceed to the Citadel and defeat Grand Mother Silk while cursed. The cinematic will show Hornet collapsing as the cursed tendrils spread, sealing Silk’s power.

Sister of the Void 

Conditions:

• Complete the Snared Silk ending requirements to unlock Act 3.
• Obtain the Diving Bell Key and enter the Abyss.
• Defeat Lost Lace

Sister of the Void Ending Guide

This ending of Silksong is unlocked by defeating Lost Lace, the hidden final boss of Act 3. After the battle, Hornet and Lace attempt to escape the Void but are overwhelmed until the Knight, in their Shade Lord form, intervenes. Hornet survives as Pharloom collapses around her.

To access this ending, players must first complete the Snared Silk route by finishing the Silk and Soul questline and siding with Needolin. After the credits, reloading the save file reveals Abyss tentacles on the slot. Breaking the vines covering the slot unlocks Act 3.

The next step is to locate the Diving Bell Key, found in the Putrefied Ducts, a hidden area near the Flea Caravan’s final location. This key opens the Abyss entrance beneath the Deep Docks.

Inside the Abyss, Hornet must navigate the depths and confront Lost Lace. The ending cutscene shows Hornet and Lace nearly consumed by the Void before being saved by the Shade Lord.

Passing of the Age Guide

Conditions:

• "Grant the Herald's Wish." from the description of the Achievement
• Finish the Mr. Mushroom questline
• Go to the Surface.

Passing of the Age Ending Guide

The Passing of the Age Ending is a secret epilogue unlocked after completing the Mister Mushroom questline. It is not a standalone conclusion but an additional cutscene that plays after any other ending, offering lore closure on the wandering mushroom’s journey.

To unlock it, players must find and speak to Mister Mushroom in all seven of his locations across Pharloom. Once this is done, completing any main ending, such as the Weaver Queen, Snared Silk, Twisted Child, or Sister of the Void, will trigger the epilogue cutscene after the credits.

The "Passing of the Age" wish is activated by reading a lore tablet hidden above the Pale Lake, east of Fleatopia. The tablet gives a riddle that hints at the 7 locations to visit in the world. In all but one location, Mister Mushroom is hidden in the floor, signalled by a humming and blue spores, and must be drawn out by playing the Needolin before you can speak to him. The locations in order are : 

1. in Moss Grotto in a room just below the surface and the Ruined Chapel ;
2. in Bone Bottom on the legde where Shakra used to be ;
3. in east Far Fields close to the Weaver nest ;
4. in Greymoor in the secret passage above the windmills ;
5. in the Slab right next to the First Sinner’s cage ;
6. in Mount Fay at the very top ;
7. and finally above the Cradle, accessible with Silk Soar from the area where you fought Grand Mother Silk, at the end of a tough platforming section.

Once these encounters are completed, finishing any ending will unlock the Passing of the Age achievement. The post-credits cutscene depicts Mister Mushroom reflecting on his journey, tying together his wandering presence throughout the game.
