Psalm Cylinder is a special collectible in Hollow Knight Silksong. The Psalm Cylinders can be found in various locations in Pharloom. To start searching for all six Psalm Cylinders, complete the Vaultkeeper's Melody first. To complete the Vaultkeeper's Melody, retrieve the Sacred Cylinder and play it to Vaultkeeper Cardinius. After playing the Vaultkeeper's Melody with Needolin, Hornet will then ask Vaultkeeper Cardinius to keep the Sacred Cylinder safe and all the other Psalm Cylinders that Hornet will bring. From there, you can start your search for the other five Psalm Cylinders. Half of the Psalm Cylinders can be found in Whispering Vaults, and the other half will be included in this guide. Collect all six Psalm Cylinders to complete the Vaultkeeper's Request. Vaultkeeper Cardinius will also give you rosaries for each Psalm Cylinder you retrieve. Completing the Vaultkeeper's Melody will start your search for all the Psalm Cylinders. You can complete the Vaultkeeper's Melody by giving the Sacred Cylinder to Vaultkeeper Cardinius. Once you play the Vaultkeeper's Melody to him, Hornet will ask to keep the Sacred Cylinder safe and the other Psalm Cylinders that she will bring. From there, your search for the other five Psalm Cylinders begins.
Vaultkeeper Cardinius will reward you with 100 rosaries in exchange for each Psalm Cylinder you retrieve. Once you retrieve all six Psalm Cylinders, Vaultkeeper Cardinius will ask you to give him some alone time with the treasures he has.

Silksong Whispering Vaults Psalm Cylinder
Sacred Cylinder
Sacred Cylinder is the requirement to complete the Vaultkeeper's Melody story quest. You can find it in the southeast bottom of Whispering Vaults. It is accessible if you start at the southeast bench of Whispering Vaults, located near Underworks. Go left from the bench until you see a mechanical floor switch that opens up the secret door to its left.
Once you open the secret door, enter the door to see a mechanical snake-like corpse background. From there, you will see the Sacred Cylinder glowing on a podium-like structure. Interact with the Sacred Cylinder to retrieve it.

Northeast Edge of Vaultkeeper Cardinius Lair
The other Psalm Cylinder in Whispering Vaults is located in the northeast edge of Vaultkeeper Cardinius' Lair. Start at the entrance of Vaultkeeper Cardinius' Lair, located in the northeast of The Stage, where you fought Trobbio. You can get to the lair's entrance by traversing to the northeast of The Stage using Cling Grip, Swift Step, and Drifter's Cloak. Once you reach the entrance of Vaultkeeper Cardinius' Lair, go left.
Keep heading to the left until you see a lamp. Once you see the lamp, climb up to the top-left using the Cling Grip on the wall. You will need to jump to the right wall for an easier climb, then jump back to the left when you notice the glowing object on the ground. Interact with the object to pick up the Psalm Cylinder.

Secret Area
The last Psalm Cylinder that you can find in Whispering Vaults is in the Secret Area on the northeast edge. You can start your way up there from the encircled area on the map. The encircled area is below the Vaultkeeper Cardinius' Lair. You can get there by going down using Drifter's Cloak, Cling Grip, and Clawline.
Once you arrive at the encircled area on the map, go to the left until you see the square platform to jump on. Get to the top of that platform, then use Cling Grip on the left wall until you can enter a hidden passage.
After going through the hidden passage, continue to climb up the left wall using the Cling Grip until you can get to the left platform. Jump on the other platform to the left and continue walking until you see a cog with an attached switch ring mechanic. Activate by hanging onto the ring using the Clawline to open a path going down. Go down the path, but be careful with the cogs and spikes while going down. Once you see a path that goes to the right while using the Drifter's Cloak to go down, use Clawline to get to the spiky platform, then traverse your way up until you see a lever.
Hit the lever when you see it to open a path and make it into a bridge to cross the path to the left. Upon reaching the edge of the path, go down until you see a cog at the bottom right. Go straight to the right, then stand on the floor switch mechanism to open a path that goes up. Once the path going up is open, hit the lever to activate the fan going up, then use Drifter's Cloak to go up. When the wind gets you to the top, you will find a lever. Hit the lever to open the top path.
Jump to the top upon opening the path, then proceed to the right until you see a wall that you can use the Cling Grip to go up. Once you manage to go up, head to the left until you go through a room entrance where you can find the Psalm Cylinder.

Silksong Blasted Steps Psalm Cylinder
The Psalm Cylinder in Blasted Steps is one of the wares of Grindle. You can locate Grindle in the northwest of the Bellway of Blasted Steps. Use Cling Grip and Clawline on traversing to get to the encircled area on the map.
Once you arrive at the encircled area on the map, go left and traverse to reach the upper left platform, which is the platform where Grindle resides. Buy the Psalm Cylinder for 180 rosaries.

Silksong High Halls Psalm Cylinder
There is a Psalm Cylinder in High Halls. You can find it in the northwest of the bench near the High Halls Ventrica Station. Go to the encircled area on the map where you can find the sewers of The Forum. You can use Cling Grip, Clawline, and Faydown Cloak for traversing to go to the encircled area on the map.
Once you arrive at the encircled area on the map, go down to the bottom left, and continue heading to the left until you reach the end of the path. Don't enter the open path to the left; instead, climb up to the right platform by using Clawline or Faydown Cloak.
From the right platform, continue traversing to the right until you see a wall that you can use the Cling Grip on. Use Cling Grip to go up to the right wall to reach a platform, then go down to that platform to find the Psalm Cylinder.

Silksong Whiteward Psalm Cylinder
This Psalm Cylinder in the Whiteward requires you to fight The Unravelled boss before going to the area where you can find the Psalm Cylinder. The Unravelled boss can be found on the western edge of the Whiteward, where you need to open the path going down using the Surgeon's Key. The encircled area on the map is the locked entrance where you can find The Unravelled boss.
Once you defeat The Unravelled, enter the unlocked passage to the right. Continue going to the right until you see a pit. Drop down to the pit to reach the bottom. From there, create a path to the left by breaking the breakable wall.
Enter the path you created and keep heading left until you see the Psalm Cylinder. Interact with the Psalm Cylinder to pick it up. At this point, you have found all the Psalm Cylinders if you follow all the steps above.

You can go back to Vaultkeeper Cardinius at the Whispering Vaults to give him all the Psalm Cylinders you retrieved to complete the Vaultkeeper's request. You will receive 100 rosaries for each Psalm Cylinders you give to Vaultkeeper Cardinius. Vaultkeeper Cardinius will ask you to give him some alone time with his treasures.
