Rosaries  in Hollow Knight Silksong

Rosaries in Hollowknight: Silksong are your primary currency in the game. Throughout Silksong, you'll regularly encounter enemies that will drop Rosaries after defeating them. You will also occasionally encounter Rosaries hanging in different Locations. Dying in Combat in Hollow Knight Silksong

In Hollowknight: Silksong, when Hornet dies, players are respawned at the last Bench they rested on. A Silk Cocoon is also formed at the position where she died. Aside from that, she loses all of her acquired Rosaries. This can be retrieved by returning to the location where you last died and then breaking the Silk Cocoon. After breaking the Silk Cocoon, Hornet restores her Silk Meter.

Health and Healing in Hollow Knight Silksong

For Silksong, healing is an essential part of the game, especially if your last bench was from a faraway location. Healing prevents you from dying and stops you from losing your progress. To heal in Hollowknight: Silksong, you'll have to consume a full silk meter to use Bind. You have to be mindful of when to use this because if you get interrupted or damaged while channeling, you won't be able to heal and will lose all of your Silk meter. Resting on Benches will also heal you back to full health. Make sure to utilize this before you dive back into your adventure. Hornet's health can also be fully restored by collecting 4 Mask Shards. Additionally, this will also increase her maximum health by 1.

Fast Travel in Hollow Knight Silksong

Hornet can use Fast Travel in Hollow Knight Silksong. Fast Travel allows you to traverse around the land of Pharloom using the Bellways. There are a total of 10 fast travel points in Silksong, but you'll need to have access to them first. To unlock Fast Travel in Silksong, players must defeat Bell Beast first. Bell Beast is a Boss located in The Marrow. After unlocking Bellways, you can now fast-travel to two locations. You'll need to spend your acquired Rosaries to unlock more locations.

Combat in Hollow Knight Silksong

Hornet in Silksong uses a more agile and acrobatic movement compared to its prequel. Her Nail uses the standard slash patterns, but with better mobility.  Hornet uses a new type of resource called Silk. Silk is used to heal or use her other abilities. Take note that healing or using her other abilities consumes Silk. The quantity of Silk consumed depends on which ability was used, but using Bind or heal will consume the whole Silk meter. 1 bar regenerates every time you hit an enemy. Spawns from bosses also regenerate the Silk Meter. You can use this to your advantage to heal continuously. As you progress in the game, you'll encounter more and more Tools you can use to defeat enemies. These tools also have their own meter, and you'll need Shell Shards to replenish them.

Map in Hollow Knight Silksong

Hollowknight: Silksong is a game where you can get lost easily, especially if you don't know where you're going. Luckily, you can purchase a Map from Shakra along with a few other useful map tools. To find Shakra, head over to Bone Bottom after defeating the Moss Mother. Purchasing the Map allows you to figure out the areas of a Location. Partner this up with the Compass, a yellow Tool that will show your current location, the Quill, a passive item that allows you to update your map with already visited locations whenever you're sitting on a bench, the Bench Pins, pins that will mark any discovered Benches on your map, and the Shell Markers, markers that you can place anywhere on your map, especially if you want to go back to a location, and you'll find navigating the game a breeze.

Shell Shards in Hollow Knight Silksong

Aside from Rosaries, defeating enemies in Hollowknight Silksong also drops Shell shards. Occasionally, you'll encounter Shell Shard Deposits, which will provide you with a chunk of  Shell Shards. Shell Shards are materials used to craft and refill Tools.  Once you've equipped a tool, you can see the bar of the tool meter at the top left portion of the HUD, next to the silk meter. Unlike Rosaries, Shell Shards are not lost after dying, so that's one less thing to worry about.

Tools & Crest in Hollow Knight Silksong

Tools in Hollowknight: Silksong are both offensive and defensive items that Hornet can use. They can change how you would approach enemies and how you explore the world. Some tools allow you to damage groups of enemies using a single button, while some grant you defensive prowess against enemies and hazards. Crests are equippable implements used by Hornet. Each Crest has its own unique composition, varying from the number and color of Tool slots accessible, a change in Hornet's basic attack animations, and altering her dash and pogo angles. Mixing and matching Tools & Crests can possibly alter Hornet's entire playstyle, allowing players to tailor Hornet's actions to their preferred playstyle.

Benches in Hollow Knight Silksong

When entering a new location in Hollowknight: Silksong, make sure to explore the area to find a Bench. A bench is used for various things. It can be used to save your progress, fully heal you, update the map with your explored areas, and allow you to change and equip Tools. Keep in mind that when Hornet dies, she will be respawned at the last used Bench. So it's important to find and utilize them.
