Warding Bell Tool Notes & Tips in Hollow Knight Silksong
- This is a very useful defensive tool, especially when engaging against a scene with a lot of mobs, or perhaps engaging in a boss fight. When healing your HP masks through binding silk, Hornet gains an extra layer of protection to shield her during its healing process.
- The spot where you get this tool is often missed. Please refer to our Interactive Map, or on the direct Silksong Map link above for guidance on its location.
AnonymousThis tool is not that great.
Even at the early game when you can get it, it's mediocre. Sure it can save your life, but usually if you get interrupted at low health, you'll die in a few seconds anyway. The defense doesn't stop you from losing all your silk, which means that the Warding Bell's value decreases further with every extra silk spool you unlock.
If Team Cherry wanted this thing to be worth using, they should have it retain at least a portion of your silk upon getting interrupted. Otherwise, just swap it for the Injector Band as soon as you find that and don't look back.
AnonymousThis is just baldur shell, a charm designed around hk's healing system, NOT silksong's healing system. Should fully protect from stuns and guarantee the heal, since you heal so infrequently in silksong due to the weird bind mechanic. This would not be op, as the mid-air heal is already really strong and makes healing mostly safe to do in many fights. Until a fix patch drops, trash tool.

AnonymousA boss died attacking me when I was healing with this equipped

AnonymousIf you have this trinket equipped, and receive damage right when you'd be healed, you WILL be healed, and the enemy will be staggered.

Anonymousit would be too good otherwise, imagine taking no damage while healing or retaining the silk meter.
I like the cool explosion.
AnonymousThis thing is bad. You get a shield while healing that prevents damage, but doesn't prevent you from being stunned out of the heal.
Which means you still lose all your silk bar AND don't get any heal if you get hit.
Wtf is the point of such a thing?

The heal is still interrupted, lmao
