Flea Brew is a Tool in Hollow Knight Silksong. Flea Brew temporarily boosts Hornet’s movement and attack speed, which comes handy in combat with multiple foes or boss battles. You can also use it along with other attack modifiers to amplify its effect. Tools are special collectibles used by Hornet, giving her offensive and defensive abilities.
How to Get Flea Brew Tool in Hollow Knight Silksong
- Location: Greymoor [Silksong Map]
- You get it from Grishkin, after you complete the quest The Lost Fleas. When you finish it, you have to report back to the Fleamaster at their caravan in The Marrow, then agree to travel with them, which will bring you to the western part of Greymoor. Upon arriving, this becomes available. Speak to Grishkin, and he'll give the item.

Red Tool - Resting at a bench will consume its reserve to refill the number of uses for the tool.
- Has 30 uses before having to refill it. You can speak to Grishkin to replenish this tool once the reserve is empty.
- Costs Rosaries if you ask Grishkin for a refill.
Flea Brew Tool Notes & Tips in Hollow Knight Silksong
- The Flea Brew comes in handy when engaging with multiple foes, or a boss monster that requires several landed hits before it dies. An activated charge propels Hornet to move swifter and attack faster, taking the battle to a whole new level.
- This speed modifier can be used in combo with Flintslate, which amplifies the damage of your needle when activated for a duration of time.

makes fighting bosses a lot of fun, so to balance it out you gotta run through bug hell to replenish it.

I would've put it in my top best tools list but I kinda dislike the runbacks everywhere the Caravan decide to move lol, WHAT DO YOU MEAN I HAVE TO GO THROUGH PUTRIFIED DUCTS TO REFILL, OR BILEWATER.
It appears to increase the wanderer's crest's attack speed by 10-20%

Way too short of a duration. Should have been way longer, but maybe weaker effect to compensate. Same problem as Flintslate

Easily the best tool in the entire game, especially with Cross stitch. Your attacks being faster not only means you can generate silk for cross stitch faster, but you also have less endlag on your moves and can cross stitch to avoid damage you otherwise would have had to eat. While you're beating up a staggered boss, make sure you drink this first because you'll still get all your hits in AND if they come at you with an attack right out of their stagger, you can counter them immediately and punish them for trying to punish your greed. Insanely fun tool, extremely good tool, 10/10. Long live Drunken Fist Hornet!

Honestly doesn't last long enough, usually the duration will already be half depleted before you even get a proper opening to make use of it. Lots of bosses don't give you an opening big enough, off the top of my head I can think of bosses like Sister Splinter where this would probably be very good, but otherwise..
One advantage though is that once you reach Act 3 it doesn't cost anything to replenish.

What happens if you use the poison trinket with this? Does it make you deal poison damage while buffed?

The recharge will be free of charge when you found all the other fleas and activate the Mooshka's wish in Bellhart
