How to Get Straight Pin Tool in Hollow Knight Silksong

  • Location: The Marrow [Silksong Map]
  • This tool can be collected inside a prison cell located east of The Marrow.
  • The prison cells are just below the mini-boss room where you fight Skarrgard.
  • Initially, when you find prison cells, you'll find Grindle imprisoned in the upper-right cell.
  • When you arrive, hit the door multiple times to break it, freeing Grindle and allowing you to enter the cell and reach the platform above.

      Damage on this is, based on crafting kit level, 5 - 8 - 11 - 14 - 17. Longpin is the exact same, but has a shorter range and breaks through defense stance of some enemies

      • Far and beyond the most flexible tool. Cheap, deals a good amount of damage, flies in a straight line. Honestly, combining it with Silkshot (I prefer the Weavers' version because it's a handheld railgun) and either Cogwork Wheel or Voltvessel feels unfair. Architect Crest is a fireworks show and I'm all for it.
