Sting Shard is a Tool in Hollow Knight Silksong. Sting Shard is an offensive Red Tool that creates a lethal trap of tightly bound blades that pierce enemies on contact. Tools are special collectibles used by Hornet, giving her offensive and defensive abilities.

- It would also be very useful on mob combat, where you face multiple monsters at a time.

This is my favorite offensive tool so far (still in act 1, though I've made quite a bit of progress and am probably near act 2)
Especially paired with the poison, this thing just melts bosses. Actually you can use it during roaring animations too, I only had to hit Widow with my needle ~6 times in her second phase because I placed these traps in the middle of the arena before her second phase began, and it deleted her HP.
