Unsheathe is a Weapon Skill in Nightreign. Weapons in Nightreign are randomly acquired from Chests and Field Boss drops, and some weapons and shields will now have different skills than what they originally had in Elden Ring.

AnonymousApparently you can hold the unsheathe stance for a second or two and then you can seamlessly enter the cursed sword stance. Trying activating unsheathe without attacking and switching immediately to the cursed sword. There's an awkward delay where you have to cancel the unsheathe animation before you can draw the cursed sword. If you hold unsheathe for a moment the switch to cursed sword is instant.
DS3 Katana parry is back on the menu! Only now it just does a deflect rather than a full parry like in DS3.
