Fortnite has a few official Star Wars islands, and one of them is a themed tycoon. Players can build drones and create the best workshop in the galaxy in Droid Tycoon. A limited-time event is now live to incentivize players to give this fun Creative map a try.

How to Get BB-8 in Droid Tycoon
The Resistance is collecting BB units, and in order to get them delivered faster, Poe Dameron wants players' assistance. They will be greatly compensated for their efforts. Gamers will receive a BB-8 droid in Fortnite Droid Tycoon if they hand in a total of 10 BB units while the BB-8 event is live.
The BB droids that will count towards event quest progress are:
- 2BB
- BB
- CB
- BAL-CORE
- ORB-WALKER
- OPTI-STRK
The BB-8 event will be live on Saturday and Sunday (May 9 and 10) from 10 AM ET to 12 PM ET. During this two-hour window, gamers can hand in these units and receive a reward. After giving Poe Dameron the 10 units, they will receive an additional task, which grants them the Resistance Regalia Paint in exchange for 25 BB units.
BB-8 Droid Stats in Fortnite
BB-8's unique companion perk grants a 100 percent Upgrade Chip Pickup boost. As a worker, it is able to generate 50 credits per second. And overall, it grants a boost of 5 percent credits per second.
There is no doubt that BB-8 is a valuable droid, especially for players who are still in Droid Tycoon's early game.
