Fortnite Runners has kicked off, and it's all about Sprites. Sprites are everywhere in Fortnite, whether it be roaming around the map's new locations or simply uncovered from opening chests. However, while players can find a bunch of these critters, not all are created equal, as some are notoriously hard to get. This is the case with the Zero Point Sprite, which is currently the rarest Sprite in the game. Here is how to get the Zero Point Sprite in Fortnite.

How to Get the Zero Point Sprite in Fortnite Runners
The Zero Point Sprite is currently one of the rarest Sprite in Fortnite, and while players may be hoping to find it in a specific location, this is unfortunately not the case. The Zero Point Sprite can be found just like any other Sprite, within Sprite Chests. The only problem here is that its drop rate is incredibly low, currently only a 0.03% chance.
While this may very well mean that players will spend hours trying to find it, here are some methods you can try:
- Target the Vaults: All the Vaults on the Fortnite island give guaranteed Sprite Chests, with the Epic Sprite Vaults offering three. Prioritize opening vaults as often as you can to potentially get the Zero Point Sprite (locations of the vaults can be found in this guide).
- Trade Sprites: If you have a friend that already has the Zero Point Sprite, then they can bring it into the match and drop it for you. Simply extract the Sprite to claim it yourself. For solos, follow Senior Director Tofu Chris on X, who is hosting multiple Zero Point giveaways. Alternatively, join the Sprite Trading HQ Discord server hosted by Gl1tch Leaks to find players to trade with. If you are a Zero Point Sprite owner, you will not lose your Sprite if you drop it for another player, as you can summon it back with Sprite Dust.
- Play During Mastery Monday: Every Monday, 9 AM ET through 9 AM ET the next day, all Legendary and Mythic Sprites will have their drop rates increased. That means more of a chance to get the Zero Point Sprite.
Remember, once you have found a Zero Point Sprite in-game, you will need to Extract it to secure it in your inventory. While you can use Extraction Sites, since this Sprite is rare, we recommend using Portable Extractors instead (purchased at Extraction Sites or awarded by completing Mastery Quests).
What Does the Zero Point Sprite Do in Fortnite Runners?
The Zero Point Sprite has the ability to, when equipped, spawn a Shield Bubble Jr. when the player is healing. Be it a Chug Jug, Shield Potion, or a Med Kit, a Shield Bubble is automatically deployed as you are consuming the item, a must when it comes to Zero Build.
While that's the only in-game effect it has (unless you find a different variant like a Candy or Galaxy Sprite), getting the Zero Point Sprite in your Collection for the first time also unlocks it as a Pilot for the Guardian Battle Pass Skin.
If you happen to lose your Zero Point Sprite while it's in your Collection, don't worry. You can summon it again for 7,500 Sprite Dust, albeit resetting its level. If you have not extracted a Zero Point Sprite and you lose it, however, you will have to find it again in-game.
