Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 is already shaping up to be one of the best and biggest seasons yet, taking players on a hunt for rare Sprites to secure in their Sprite Collection. However, Sprites are not the only thing players will be chasing this season, as there are also a bunch of new Mythic items to collect, whether by defeating bosses or completing hidden puzzles and activities around the island. Here is how to get every Mythic item in Fortnite Runners.
How to Activate the Wishing Fountain in Fortnite Runners (Sunken Shores Free Loot)
Fortnite players can make a wish at a fountain and receive free loot in return. Here is how to activate the Wishing Fountain and make a wish.
All Boss Mythic Items in Fortnite Runners (Chapter 7 Season 3 Boss Locations)
As of the launch of Chapter 7 Season 3, players can get one of three Mythics from different bosses around the map. Each seemingly spawns in several different locations, with all of them sharing the same potential spawns, making them difficult to track down. Here is a rundown of every boss you can find, and the Mythic items they drop:
- Voidblade Boss: The Voidblade's Burst Rifle (or a Legendary Surgical Burst Rifle)
- Wolfe Boss: Wolfe's Maven Auto Shotgun (or a Legendary Maven Auto Shotgun)
- Skeletor Boss: Reacher Extending Shotgun (or a Legendary Extending Focus Shotgun)
If you are having trouble finding a boss, see the map attached above for all the currently discovered spawn locations (we will update as we discover more). These bosses will rift into one of the above locations during the match, with their position being shown as a skull icon on the map when you are near them.
How to Get the 9mm Baba Yaga
To get the 9mm Baba Yaga, you will need to rescue John Wick's dog, a step many players may have already completed to get the Dog (Pen & Ink) Sidekick. John Wick's dog spawns in two possible locations, which are as follows:
- The Battlewoods (in the sewers underground)
- Sinister Strip (in the southern building)
Once you have found John Wick's dog, eliminate the surrounding guards and free him from his cage. When opening the cage, there is a chance that the Mythic 9mm Baba Yaga will be dropped. However, occasionally it can just be a Legendary Lancehead Pistol.
How to Get the Mythic Striker Pump Shotgun
To get the Mythic Striker Pump Shotgun, you will need to complete the Duck Race Minigame. This can be found on the bridge north of Heatwave Harbor. Simply interact with the ducks and follow them until they reach the finish line south of Heatwave Harbor. Here, there is a small chance that the Mythic Striker Pump Shotgun will be dropped.
How to Get the Mythic Limitless Seven Sliders
To get the Mythic Limitless Seven Sliders, you will need to open the locked cell at Sinister Strip. To do this, head to the prison building in the northern section of the POI and make your way to the bottom level. From there, go through the tunnels and complete the following objectives:
- Deactivate the North Prison Security Grid
- Deactivate the South Prison Security Grid
(Both security grids can be found behind vent doors in the tunnels).
Once this is done, head back to the locked cell and open it. Inside, you will find several Rare Chests. Opening these Chests gives you a chance of obtaining the Limitless Seven Sliders, a Mythic version of the item that functions like the regular Seven Sliders but never overheats or runs out of durability. On some occasions, however, you may receive a standard pair of Seven Sliders instead.
You also have a small chance of getting the Limitless Seven Sliders by repairing the Wishing Fountain at Sunken Shores, which we have a guide for here.
There may be more Mythics discovered or added to this season in the future, so be sure to return to this guide to stay up to date. In the meantime, here are some other useful guides for Fortnite Runners:
