Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3's final update is here, and with it players can collect a bunch of new Sprites, including the Llama Sprite, Peely Sprite, and more. However, one of the newest Sprites requires players to jump into Fortnite Reload, and it is currently the only Sprite that can be used outside of Battle Royale. Here's how to get the John Wick Sprite in Fortnite.
How to Get the John Wick Sprite in Fortnite
The John Wick Sprite is a Sprite that can only be found naturally in Fortnite Reload. There are a few different ways to obtain one, though doing so requires a bit of luck. Here's how you can get a John Wick Sprite in Fortnite:
- Chests, Rare Chests, or Sprite Chests
- Winning a Fortnite Reload match
- Dropped by players carrying it (either by eliminating them or trading with players in Reload or Battle Royale)
If you get a Victory Royale in Reload, or find a John Wick Sprite and then win a match with it equipped, it will automatically be extracted and added to your Sprite Collection. However, the only other way to extract the John Wick Sprite in Reload is by using the Reload Portable Extractor Gizmo, as there are no dedicated Extraction Points in the mode.
You can get the Reload Portable Extractor by the following:
- Chests and Floor Loot
- Vending Machines for 50 Gold
Once successfully extracted, you can use the John Wick Sprite in both Battle Royale and Reload, making it the only Sprite currently usable in both modes.
While Sprite Chests can be found anywhere, I found one on the roof of The Confidential on The Simpsons map. Try heading there to see if it spawns in for you.
What Does the John Wick Sprite Do in Fortnite?
The John Wick Sprite is one of the most valuable Sprites in the loot pool, functioning similarly to the Grim Sprite. The John Wick Sprite reveals nearby enemies to you and your squad for a few seconds after you knock or eliminate an opponent, making it a go-to option for aggressive players.
