Where to Find the Duck Race Minigame in Fortnite Runners
The Duck Race Minigame is yet another secret that players can find on the Fortnite Runners map, giving them the chance to earn some neat free loot. Players can find this minigame on the bridge north of Heatwave Harbor. If you head there and find the four differently colored ducks, you will be able to trigger the minigame.
This drop location is bound to be contested, especially when you start the race and move down to Heatwave Harbor. Be sure to grab a few heals, weapons, and materials to defend yourself in the event that you run into other players.
How to Complete the Fortnite Runners Duck Race Minigame
To trigger the Duck Race Minigame, simply interact with the ducks. Doing so will send them drifting along the river. Follow the ducks along their route, and as they float downstream, they will collide with a series of four boxes, speeding them up and dropping items behind them.
The ducks will progress through three sets of boxes along the river flowing through Heatwave Harbor. Keep following them until they reach the finish line on the south side of Heatwave Harbor. Here, you will find a cannon and, once the ducks cross the finish line, several items will be dropped.
These items can range from Chug Jugs for healing and Gold, to Epic and Legendary weapons. Players also have a high chance of obtaining the Mythic Striker Pump Shotgun, which is arguably one of the best Shotguns in the loot pool right now.
