The Burnt Peanut is perhaps the most surprising addition to Fortnite Runners, and is secretly part of the Battle Pass, which you might not have even known about due to the rarity of how you can get him in the first place. The Burnt Peanut isn't unlocked via quests or purchased from the Item Shop.
Instead, you can get the Burnt Peanut by finding his Sprite in Battle Royale. However, this isn't a simple task, and the odds need to be extremely in your favor for this to actually happen, and we'll share exactly how you can get the Burnt Peanut (and how rare it is to get him) here.

One of the biggest focuses of Season 3 is the return of Sprites, with both old and new critters showing up. Here is every Sprite in Fortnite Runners.
To use The Burnt Peanut as a skin, you'll need to have purchased the Chapter 7 Season 3 Battle Pass.
How to Find the Burnt Peanut Sprite in Fortnite
- There is a 1.5% (1 in 67) chance that you will get the Burnt Peanut Sprite from "Relic Chests". However, Relic Chests are not currently in-game.
We expect Relic Chests to be added in the next Fortnite update, which is scheduled for June 25.
Relic Chests have only recently been datamined and shown by HYPEX on X as something that will come later this season. As for the odds and chances, that information comes from a reliable Fortnite leaker, Leaky (@itsmeleaky), on X.
If RNG is on your side, and you manage to get the Burnt Peanut Sprite, then you'll immediately want to head to an Extraction Site on the map, as you will need to extract the Burnt Peanut Sprite before you are eliminated, or someone else can steal it and extract it.
When you manage to extract the Burnt Peanut Sprite, you can safely return to the lobby, as it will now be in your collection. After visiting the "Passes" tab, you'll be alerted to a new unlock for The Guardian, an Outfit in your Locker that you can edit with E/Square/X to equip the Burnt Peanut pilot.
We expect the rarity values to increase as the season progresses, so if you really want TheBurntPeanut, then you might just have to wait for these values to increase, as only a handful of players out of millions have this Sprite.
What Does the Burnt Peanut Sprite Do in Fortnite?
The Burnt Peanut Sprite grants you a higher chance of obtaining loot when you eliminate players, and sometimes, you might even get a Mythic:
Level 1 - +20% loot chance.
Level 2 - +30% loot chance.
Level 3 - +40% loot chance.
Level 4 - +50% loot chance.
Level 5 - +60% loot chance and +10% chance to find Mythics.
