Fortnite Runners Chapter 7 Season 3 is finally here after a long downtime, and with it players are catapulted to a revamped island filled with Sprites and new loot. Collaborations are here too, and while players can pick up John Wick in the Battle Pass, they can also play the part and get revenge on those who stole his dog by rescuing John Wick's Dog to unlock him as a Sidekick. How to Rescue & Pet John Wick's Dog in Fortnite
John Wick's Dog can be found in two specific locations on the Fortnite island as of the time of writing. So far, we have found John Wick's Dog at the following POIs:
- The Battlewoods (in the sewers underground)
- Sinister Strip (in the southern building)
Upon coming into the vicinity of John Wick's Dog, his location will be marked on both your map and your HUD for you to track. The dog itself will be locked in a cage if this is your first time finding him, with two guards surrounding it.
Take out these guards to startm and then defeat the additional guards that rift in as reinforcements. Headshots are your best bet for getting this done quickly, as they allow you to deal the most damage.
Upon defeating all the guards, head up to the cage and interact with it to rescue John Wick's Dog. Doing so will unlock the Dog (Pen & Ink) Sidekick for Battle Pass owners. You will also get other rewards, such as a chance for a Legendary or Mythic Lancehead Pistol. Alternatively, if you find the dog already rescued by another player, simply pet the dog to unlock the Sidekick.
Dog (Pen & Ink) Sidekick Full Showcase in Fortnite
Upon completing the John Wick's Dog Battle Pass Quest, you will unlock him in-game. John Wick's Dog comes with additional styles, an Emoticon, a Reaction, and an Emote (coming soon), giving players a bunch of customization options. However, unlike other Sidekicks, players do not need to lock in the final look for John Wick's Dog.
All customization options are unlocked by playing Fortnite while you have the Dog (Pen & Ink) Sidekick equipped. These are as follows:
