Fortnite Runners is here, and with a new season also comes new weapons and items to wield. While those getting stuck in may be testing out which items they like the best, not all weapons are created equal. However, for those looking for a rundown of what the meta is for Chapter 7 Season 3, we have ranked every weapon from best to worst.

One of the biggest focuses of Season 3 is the return of Sprites, with both old and new critters showing up. Here is every Sprite in Fortnite Runners.

S-Tier: Absolute Meta Weapons

Striker Pump Shotgun

The only true one-shot Shotgun. Deals a maximum of 201 damage at Legendary rarity when hitting headshots, and higher if you get the Mythic version. Perks include heavy damage, fast pull out time, but it has poor range.

Surgical Burst Rifle

High damage Burst weapon and is currently the go-to gun for long-range. Heavy-hitting if you can land your shots, and has relatively low bloom and recoil. Aim for the Mythic version if possible.

Flex SMG

By far the best SMG. Has a fast fire rate from the hip, capable of bleeding through builds, but a slower fire-rate when in ADS. These two fire modes make it a versatile weapon, albeit, with not the best level of range.

Chaos Reloader Shotgun

Easily the best Shotgun for those that constantly go for body shots. Boasts the highest possible level of body shot damage, and reloads when stowed, making it the go-to option for boxfights. It has the worst range of all the Shotguns, however.

Hunting Rifle

An excellent medium-to-long-range weapon. Capable of one-shotting to the head at its lowest rarity in Builds, or at Rare rarity or above in Zero Build. Perfect for marksmen, but heavily reliant on accuracy due to the fact that it is not hitscan.

Overdrive Grenades

Not technically a weapon, but an integral part of every player's loadout. Acts like a Shockwave Grenade without launching players through structures, and offers unlimited sprints and increased jump height for a short duration. By far the most versatile mobility item and is extremely common.

B-Tier: Good Weapons

Extending Focus Shotgun

The best Shotgun for medium range. It features a tighter pellet spread for those targets that are a little further away, and a fairly high fire rate. Excellent for Zero Build. It is not a true one-shot Shotgun, however, and it only fires three shots before needing to reload. Aim for the Mythic version from the Skeletor Boss if possible.

Maven Auto Shotgun

Arguably the best Shotgun for beginners. Full-auto and capable of racking up a high DPS. Shines in Zero Build but is outclassed in Builds by virtually every other Shotgun. Aim for the Mythic version if you can, which can deal 100 body shot damage.

Stinger SMG

Excellent close-range weapon. Shines in builds and is actually capable of bleeding through walls and damaging players on the other side. Only held back by its poor range and the fact that the Flex is generally considered to be better.

Rift-to-Go

Excellent mobility item. Rifts the players into the sky, allowing you to glide and cross vast distances easily. However, you can only stack two of them at a time, so it offers limited mobility.

Sprites in Fortnite are incredibly rare, especially the Zero Point Sprite. Luckily, we have the best loot path to take to increase your odds.

C-Tier: Decent Weapons

Chaos Exploder Rifle

While at the start of the season, it was one of the strongest options, after receiving two massive nerfs to its damage, it has since moved down the meta ranking. Pros include the ability to dish out splash damage, fairly low recoil, and decent structure damage.

Ranger Pistol

A strong early to mid-game weapon. Low bloom, suppressed, and boasts a high headshot multiplier. Relatively poor range, however.

Seven Sliders

Great mobility item, though not technically a weapon. Works great when going over water and can be used to cross distances really quickly. The regular version does overheat and has limited durability, however.

Shield Breaker EMP

A decent item to have stowed in your inventory, but not necessarily the greatest. When thrown, it creates an EMP effect that damages players' shields. Players take no health damage, and it can easily be countered with builds. Great for disrupting cars and Business Turrets, however.

D-Tier: Best To Avoid

How to Get John Wick's 9mm Baba Yaga in Fortnite Runners (& Where to Find John Wick)

Lancehead Pistol

Also includes the Mythic 9mm Baba Yaga Pistol. While it does have good damage and a fast fire rate to boot, the recoil of the weapon is notably the most shaky of all the guns in the game. Decent up close, but other weapons already fill that niche.

Business Turret

By far the worst weapon in the game. It acts as an AI-controlled sentry turret that you can throw down. Deals relatively low damage and can be easily dealt with.
