Elden Ring Giant Miranda Sprout Notes & Tips
- This enemy summons pillars of light in large AoE from the sky. Better fought at a distance to avoid clouds of toxic pollen.
- They deal Strike Damage.
- Magic Giant Mirandas release a myriad of homing magic projectiles that seek out enemies, similar to Star Shower, dealing Magic Damage.
- Any fire damage dealt to the plant sets it aflame and negates the clouds: they get dissipated if present and the plant cannot release them for the duration of the burning animation.
- Flame duration can't be reset, however burn can be applied again after it wears off.
- Fire source does not set sprout aflame, if it breaks their poise.
- They can slam their flower bud against the ground aside them if the player gets too close.
- The Frenzied Giant Mirandas will violently flail themselves around in an attempt to put out the fire.
- There are several variants, but in general their most prominent weaknesses are Slash-type Physical damage, Fire, and Frostbite. Keep in mind that fire damage will "cure" active frostbite (can be followed by more frostbite). They are susceptible to Sleep as well.
- Strong against Strike damage, Lightning, and Holy.
- They can be poise-broken, but the window to riposte is very slim, as they recover quickly.
- Riposte after poise break is done to the bloom, unlike riposte to the sleeping flower which is done to the stalk.
- An unused item found in the game’s code, called Miranda's Prayer, allows the player to use the pillars of light move that the flowers use.
