The Rising Tide is a Main Quest in Diablo 4. The Rising Tide can be found at the Ruins of Broken Reason in Skovos. Main Quests are mandatory missions that players must complete in order to finish the storyline and reach the next difficulty level. Main Quests must be done sequentially and are unlocked only after completing the previous Main Quest/s.

How to unlock The Rising Tide in Diablo 4
- To unlock The Rising Tide, you will have to complete the main quest, The Soil, The Seed, The Fruit, by defeating the Memory of Inarius in The Pit of Mirrors. Once you talk to Lorath and end the cutscene, the quest will start.
Diablo IV The Rising Tide Walkthrough
After completing The Soil, The Seed, The Fruit, head to Athulua, which will be directly west of your current location. Follow the quest indicator to reach Xanderos, then make your way across the island to reach Portemos. Explore the island, then head to the marked area in the northwest to find several Amazons fighting against a First Mate — defeat the enemies to defend the Amazons, then talk to Captain Aegel to progress the quest.
As you talk to Captain Aegel, Drowned enemies will appear in the marked area. Survive the onslaught of enemies by defeating all of them until the quest objective changes, then talk to Captain Aegel again to depart from their party. Head to the Temple of Courage, which will be directly north of The Sisterlands. When you get to the temple, defeat the Drowned enemies that run out from the temple gates, then ask Tharra if she knows about Lorath's whereabouts to complete the quest. You will then be given 31,360 XP and 2,840 Gold for completing the quest, and Threadbare Legacy will start.
